I like it...though, I still find myself hating the standing system and some "softlocks" because of it that always pulls up my pulse because I hate the monotone chores they give me as the best way to befriend a given faction just so I can make, for example, a better Amp quicker I may have ADHD that isn't diagnosed but I ain't that autistic😅 (no offense) Oh, and the Riven mod trade. Man, do I lose my mind understanding that the mod that says unveiled is unrevealed and the veiled is unveiled in player terms if you want to trade. My whole clan needed to explain it to me to barely get these
its wholesome . but i think u should have mention the arena endo farmers . they r toxic as hell i have never seen toxic people like those. thanks to them i dont know where to get endos quickly so i can upgrade and sell mods to make a bit of plats. if any new player see this comment then i would suggest staying away from them until u know the game like back of ur hand. but except them the whole community is really nice so feel free try it and the millions of tenno out there. ✌
Yep, I am really happy that we have Steve as the CEO and Tencent as main shareholder. As far as I know, Tencent doesn't really interfere with their games which I respect ^^
True, my friend played it like 1000 something hours, build the dojo by himself and got a ton of prime without spending any money meanwhile i spending almost 1000 bucks mostly on fashion 😂
I don't think they are not gaining money it's actually smart to make the topup currency same as the trading currency in game there's a lot of p2w lazy people edit I like to add this remember every platinum we have rotating from player to player as trade currency is someone else topup money
@froneaionut Host migration is a connection issue. Steel path spy could be several issues, and while I don’t want to say skill, it could be a matter of practice. Also use Wukong with duration and just solo the spy missions. Cloud form doesn’t trip lasers. Or Ivara with syndicate mod, she’s just a bit slower.
Ain't that the truth for almost every mmorpg? I remember starting World of Warcraft as humble adventurer in a forest helping the normal people...20 years fast forward and i'm probably worse than most of the "villains"
Warframe is like the perfect relationship i can dream about. Respectful , honest and loving. I played since the start 11 years and at "only" 3k2 hours as i'm righting. I never felt forced to play. I played "on an off" for all those years but never went far. Always kept my daily loging streak back in the days and to day i always come and check even for a couple of minutes. Never mist a prime frame but you also have more then a year for it. Back in the day i also played Wow , i still love it but warframe respect me, my time and money. Wow make you pay no matter what. You have a crazy week , don't feel like playing it , don't make progress , " i don't care give me 13,99 and don't forget next month" . Warframe on the other hand tell you. " you,re seek , don't have time right now, you want to play another game this week or month? No problem take your time , everything will be here when you comeback and even more". Just like in a relationship, when i feel respect for my effort i'm gonna stick with it, trought good and bad and of course i'm gonna support it. I really don't understand people complaining about the money side off the game. It's free to play and if after 60 ,150 ,270 hours don't feel like putting 20 $ when you get a 50% or 75% reduction for platnium. You are a awfull person. It would be like listening to a street musiscian performing a 2 hours concert and walking away not giving anything and expect to be free from the start. I spend a lot of money in the game and it feels right because the game give me back in return, every slot i bought are here to stay , every color palette i can use, all of that i can keep. The monthly fee wow take from me always seemed better spend on warframe, the game that always respected me. The game is fair. I always wanted to grind for my stuff and it really became my "sense of pride and accomplishement". " i got all of it by my hard work" . The game give me the oppotunity to get it for free and i want more for that it only seem fair that a give back and support the devs. I hope they will be another 11years and 3000hours .
0:42 bruh, that’s absolutely true. I looked at First Descendant and was initially interested until looking into just how incredibly bland and a bad rip-off of Warframe/Destiny it was that it literally made me wanna play Warframe again after not playing in 3 years lmao.
Same lmao Played it, thought "damn this is boring", left it for a week only to come back thinking "maybe i'm looking at it as a Warframe player, maybe if I give it a legit chance it might be fun", but nope, played it for like an hour or two, almost fell asleep, uninstalled
I myself kinda still had a good time with TFD, but I think it really got a lot of people to the point where they were like "Wait, wasn't there this other Game out there?" xD
Heck they are still streamlining the new player experience. There was a massive workshop dropped recently showing more then 10 improvements listed with the next update. I I’m excited to see these changes because it helps both new players and older ones. “Warframe is here for you” and it will be as we all lift together, especially when times get rough.
Warframe and DE don't give a shit about us. Only about our money. Especially new players that they can rip off as they did when they launched prime resurgence.
@@Luinta They took the Platinum out of the Packs and replaced it with Endo while keeping the prices of the packs that included Platinum. When complaints of veteran players started coming in they stated that they could not adjust the packs for the rotation and just rolled with selling the packs without Platinum for the Prices of the Packs with Platinum. They could have A: refund all players and remove the Endo from the Game the second they realized what's going on B: adjust prices or C: remove the packs from the shop. They didn't.
warframes missions aren’t randomly generated. they are tilesets. even the order of the rooms isn’t completely random. every room is hand made and they have rules for what rooms can ajoin other rooms. this is nothing like, say minecraft or no mans sky. (both fantastically mostly randomly generated worlds, but nothing like warframes maps)
warframe is the only game that i have ever spent a good amount of money (mainly just on cosmetics and some annoying things i don't feel like grinding) on because i want to support the devs. The amount of content this game gives out for free.99 is absolutely insane.
I started playing this game back in 2021. I completed the first story mission which teaches you all the basic movement mechanisms of the game and then the open world was unlocked and I was so overwhelmed that I stopped playing altogether. Then in 2023, I started playing Valorant because my friends were playing it and I needed a distraction so that I can recover from the emotional trauma caused by my father's death in 2022. But I found that game to be so toxic that instead of coming out of the depression, I started sinking more and more into it. That's when I decided to give Warframe another chance and boy, oh boy...what a great decision that was! I discovered this channel on TH-cam and the reddit community simultaneously which improved my playing experience a lot and I actually started enjoying the game and all that helped me heal and get out of the depression. Special shoutout to the reddit community and to all Tennos out there...I have not a seen a more friendly, supporting and nurturing community in any other game.
Warframe makes me feel like the people making it care about me. I've lost that feeling from a lot of other game developers. It's easy to be a fan of the game, even though it isn't perfect... what game is? This one, however, has heart and is willing to share it with the player. If it were a person, I'd hug 'em.
As mentioned in the The First Descendant reddit... That game's release generated a lot of comments like "This is just a Warframe, but worse" and got a lot of people actually interested in Warframe.
Monetization: You forgot about tennogen that can only be bought by real money BUT a portion of that money goes to the creator of the skin(which isnt Digital Extremes)
First descendent bringing the genre into the mainstream Destiny 2 reaching its finale before bungie getting absolutely gutted And warframe 99 being hype as hell and rebs team seeming to release nothing but positives aince they took over (sure there was the dante and nezha nerfs but even that wasnt so bad) Its time for a second golden age of warframe
@@Joemama-xw2wy i dont play nezha so i have no clue what the nerf even was ngl xD i just remember hearing a lot of fuss about nezha during the dante line of sight stuff
Warframe is special to me, Because it feels like a game that isn't afraid to fail. They try their hand at everything, trying to put their own spin on things, and it doesn't always work! It fails, They have failed before! But the Team for warframe never feels like they are afraid to actually try something.
When I first started playing Warframe, I had picked Excalibur as my first warframe. I liked him but wasn't sure he was for me, so I tried crafting a new frame (Mag). Well, I think I did a public game with a Dev and after a mission I got an Email saying that they feel like Excalibur wasn't the right frame for me, and they gave me a code for a free Volt from the market. I kept that Volt up until I got Volt Prime. With so many things going on in the world of gaming It's refreshing to see that there's still devs who not only love their game but will actively try to improve the player's experience
It’s so funny to me because I have over a thousand hours on destiny and recently i remembered that warframe exists and is free so I decided to try it. Is this how it feels when the devs actually care about the players 🤯
I played Destiny for 10 years and bought every collectors edition on Xbox and the platinum editions on my PC. Spent about, $10,000 on my ten years including, $50 every season on silver purchases. I'm no slouch when it comes to grind for guns and armor. Spent countless hours farming catalysts in the Shattered Throne Thrailway before it was Nurfed, and you had to use Shiro Chi checkpoint. But I digress. I got tired of Destiny and was looking for a change, and one of my raiding buddies said to check out this game. I was hooked. This is what I was looking for out of Destiny and never got. I look forward to grinding this out for the next 10 years.
Former d2 player here can confirm d2 blew itselve up and my entire clan switches to warframe now. Its so much more fun and we having a blast i hope that continues for a long time
IMO warframes capacity to be fun is massively determined by your drive to get deeper into the game, many of my friends have tried getting into it and given up before it gets really good. Hell I have up my first try playing it and came back later to realize what I missed.
A note for those jumping in, and getting to the point of burnout; take breaks. DE has stated themselves multiple times that if you aren't enjoying yourself, you should put the game down for a while. Warframe will still be here when you're ready to hop back in.
Hear, hear! I started Warframe, couldn’t get used to the third-person perspective, and dropped it before getting off Earth. I came back years later during Covid, and I got hooked. I haven’t stopped since, and now I have 1.5k hours in the game. If you get tired of it, put it down for a while, it’ll be here when you come back. And probably with some new content to enjoy, too.
All Warframe has to do to crush 1st Descendant are three simple things: 1) Keep developing the game at the pace they have been 2) Keep the prices in the shop fair (and keep the Prime relic farming fair as it has been) 3) Release more skimpy Ember skins to pull over the horndogs from 1stDes.
Honestly DE to me is what Bungie used to Be back in there Golden Days Innovative and constantly Cooking I hope DE never looses themselves like Bungie has
To be fair DE did lose themselves in the 2019-2021 era which we all refer to as the dark ages of Warframe Ever since Rebb took over though things have been looking bright
I liked Limbo. Limbo being in my squad as well as playing as Limbo. But they "nerfed" the time-stop mechanic twice. Can't make art with projectiles anymore. Can't create walls of bullets anymore. Sad.
I've tried to get into warframe multiple times in the past and it never clicked, now that destiny is over (and completely dead to me) I gave it another try and I have been completely hooked. Just completed The Second Dream a few days ago and I'm definitely gonna stick with it, the story from that alone makes me want to delve into all the lore.
I didn't even give warframe a glance the first time I "saw" it, it was my first time online with the PlayStation store and my dad was in the room at the time(2017) and my dad pointed out "hey..... What's that", hah.....space ninjas and it's free..... And now I thank my dad for my first grindy game and still loving the game more and more every year
The RNG can be brutal, true. I had good luck with Harrow, not many runs for any of the pieces. But somehow I just couldn't get the Miter barrel to drop, and that took dozens of runs. The psychologically weird thing is that true randomness can feel... weighted at times when you get the same result 10 times in a row when you want the exact opposite.
As a recent First Descendent escapee, I can honestly say the Warframe grind, if you can call it that, is far less than the grindfest found in the First Descendent. Two months in, and I am MR 12 and 67% through the star chart but not feeling the need to rush anything. Cheers.
wow i just looked up my time played with warframe and that 1.3k hours are part of the happiest hours of my life. Thanks DE for existing and putting so much love and care into a very large amount of peoples heart!!!
As a destiny player, I think the rise of popularity is that destiny players are trying Warframe for the first time, this is because bungie has recently been laying off a lot of employees and the game is sitting in a hot dumpster right now.
I'm a Destiny player that's been playing Warframe since October last year when Bungue laid off Michael Salvatore. The game is so much more fun than Destiny. Any Destiny Player will enjoy it. On top of it being completely free and DE being the GOATS of Game Developers to where youactually want to spend money on the game's MTX to support them.
Warframe is my fav game right now. Just endless stuff to do even after 700hrs, you can always farm frames.. then subsume them to crate your own versions. It's a great game & I also would pay for it. The fact it's free it's a no brainer to try it out :)
I swear I'm just waiting for the point where all abilities are subsumable and we get a "blank" / Personal frame where we can just mess around with any and every ability on a frame
@@Xephyranth the release version of the subsume come pretty close to that. you could still only change 1 ability but you could take every abilitity you want.
@@Xephyranth I would love if they threw all the abilities that were scrapped or couldn't fit in with a set theme and let us choose them like a zaw before locking in the frame (probably like "hardening" the helminth into the metallic material frames are made of).
I have almost 10k plat in my account thanks to discounts and packages that offered great value. Even living in Brazil with a weak currency, I've managed to accumulate a lot of plat, often getting 75% discounts. I've bought legacy and Ember packages, and my experience with the game's premium currency has been very positive. Since I don't have time to farm due to work, I feel I deserve these weapons and prime frames just as much as anyone else.
As far as the monetisation goes, here was my experience - I bought a starter pack for $12 AUD after playing 100hrs for free, I got some stuff and a few hundred Plat. I went to buy a weapon with that Platinum, and it showed (alongside the premium price tag) that I could buy it with the ingame currency instead AND that I had all the resources to craft it. This info wasn't hidden, or obfuscated. I opted to buy the blueprint with ingame currency, and have it crafted overnight, and hold my Platinum for another day.
Warframe is the only game community where I’ve commented on a big creator’s video about asking for help about something and the creator of the video actually replying themself
The thing is you can take very very long breaks and come back without having missed 400 limited events and get bombed with like thousands of notifications- at least in my experience, I’m currently burnt out from grinding months on end (I literally played like 120 hours in the span of a month)
I've been telling TFD player to farm forma shouldn't be an 8 hour grind fest its crazy even for us warframe player, but because some of them play TFD as their first looter shooter they have no idea how bad the grind is in TFD.
@@rushdrift I have my clan playing all together TFD....yes it has some grinding...but mostly you can target farm everything from relics, weapons, mods because it has in built that system which is very helpful....they restrain you from building multiple parts at one time but the game is fun and the storyline is good and no messed up like warframe....whoever you ask about the story of warframe nobody really knows what happened....DE of course after the new war quests we supposed to go to TAU ..that's why excaliburs umbra mods indicate that 🤔....but DE I THINK they are lazy...not continuing the story of warframes going to Tau ...and they could do it plain and simple to travel to proxima where Tau system would be with our railjack..which railjack is something unique....I do not think there is a game like warframe which has space battles like the railjack missions...still warframe has the best example of how a free to play game should be!
Pre-Alpha and beyond tester for Warframe, I came across this game as just an ad for a temp testing job, even after i was done with the Pre-Alpha testing I still continued to play and have been since then, Warframe is 100 percent my comfort game and Will stay that way till the day I pass away. I highly recommend any and all to atleast give the game a few chances to show what truly has become an amazing (and still getting better) Free to play game.
I've started WF recently, like, 3-4 months ago, and I can't stop playing the freaking game - it's amazing, it's like the *perfect* MMO to play whether you're chilling after work or waking up to game fresh in the morning. It's *unbelievable*, I did NOT expect WF to be what it is, to be honest, it felt like the genre of the game changed (or "evolved") as I played it
the biggest thing about the game is it doesn't demand your full attention all the time, though a couple fomo is here and there, like prime mods, game is still highly playable even without them, so its still considered a "chill game"
As a Destiny player who wanted to find a new game, I tried Warframe and TFD and am enjoying Warframe wayyyyy more. This game is incredible. Could just be the honeymoon phase though.
Warframe will always be my Safe Place and space, to distract my self and hanging around with the community, ive have so much great memories with that game, glad to be a part of it.
Big sad about this game is that when I want to play with my friend, he needs to do story missions "Solo" because for some reason it never lets me join him for anything as early in as he is. Once you get your friend past this point, its great
@@emergencia9669 Oh my dear friend i failed to clarify those 10 tabs alone are for the Lich System, a system i still haven't figured out yet and looking forward to lmao.
easy to see why you have that much subs. you just do it right. as a maybe returner i looked for some up to date "is it worth it comeing back in 2024" to get an idea what happend last years. so you not showed all whats new but all i saw animated me to come back and thats was what i was searching for. you video just showed me warframe is the same good game like ever. it just runs and runs and runs without gamebreaking bugs or baf performance or bad community ororor. so thank you
So I started warframe legit 6 days ago have 40 hours played so far EVERY step of the way I've met some veteran of the game and they have ALL helped me. The community is genuinely so kind with every experience ive had so far. As a destiny 2 refuge I really have appreciated the game so very much along the way already
Been playing for 3 years, nearly at 4,000 hours on steam... I'm still blown away how much better the game is than it's competition. I don't mean in gameplay and such, because that's subjective. I mean how the game is run, how it is managed, how i actually feel respected as a customer. How feedback is actively worked upon (praise based Pablo). I played Destiny a long time, and they don't respect their customers. At all.
Yeah, it's awesome to see. I've been playing this game for so many years now, the devs, the gameplay, and the story keep me here. So, to see so many other people joining the community, even bigger streamers, brings me quite a bit of joy. It has been fun watching vids of new peeps experiencing the quests or building a new frame for the first time.
What i really like about warframe is that new warframes and weapons are not even that hard to get. You can get them without even spending money or playing for hours. i started the construction of sevagoth prime 2 days after it came out. Its probably one of the only game like that
as a plus- the community of this game is so incredibly nice I have never met a toxic person in the game.I have met many brand new player who was accidently sabotaged a mission but I knew they were just very new, so you cant blame them on the more complicated SPY missions| Plus I was stuck on a mission I couldn't beat and in like 30 seconds of asking the chat, boom very cool gamer helped me out :) thank you nameless tenno! the worst thing as a new player tho- is getting platinum. it took me till I had like idk 300 hours in the game to start trading so that basically meant I was stuck with my 3 warframes and had to keep swapping them out when I wanted a new one.(rest in peace rhino and ember) it kinda sucked. but now that in just recent times ive started trading alot and have become semi-competent, I already have 10 warframes. and my new goal is to get every regular warframe :) I already got nidus and that gave my lucky foot a HUGE ego boost teehee!
I started warframe the day you posted this video, I’m starting to understand it kinda as an ex destiny player, the material grinding system at least feels similar, honestly my biggest complaints have been about how restricting the game feels. You don’t get many weapon slots, or warframe slots, and finding a weapon that feels good is.. hard. But I’m guessing that really isn’t an issue after a couple weeks? Aside from the above I’m having a great experience so far.
Having played both, I'll keep it real- there are very few weapons that even approach an average destiny weapon. Part of that comes from it being a third person shooter, I think, but also unfortunately a lot of the early game weapons... just kinda suck. I'd recommend trying out the Lex early on, its kinda close to a destiny hand cannon. There's a bow you get from a lategame quest called the Nataruk which feels about as good if not better than Destiny bows do. The real sauce comes from the Incarnon weapons which you can get access to from a late game activity called "Steel Path circuits". Not gonna get into all of it here (google and youtube guides are your best friend for Warframe in general) but the Incarnon weapons are probably the most comparable to Destiny exotics. Build up a meter by landing headshots and then you have a giga supercharged version of that weapon that behaves completely differently from its normal version. For example, the Lex I mentioned earlier can be turned into an Incarnon version that, when charged, shoots refrigerator- sized bullets that one shot basically anything you shoot it at if you build it out with the right stats.
the way you get more slots is by example, maxing frames and wapons to upgrade your mastery rank, each rank you will get some new addtional slots for frames and weapons, sometimes you can geth them to through the "seasonPass" aka nightwave. but the best way is just to maxing weapons and frames. Playing the story helps too. Oh and dont forget your first big approach should be to complete the starsystem, with that you will enable the steelpath mode(It is in doom so called"Nightmare Mode") and you will be able to hop on any normal starchart mission with others.💪
im always critical of your videos, but this one, even tho i didnt watch the whole thing yet, is MUCH better than the other videos you released before, the improvement is QUITE visible, so much so i paused the video to write this comment. keep at it! :D
I started late last summer and still having a blast, meanwhile I haven't touched D2 since March 2nd of 2023, and will remind collecting dust in my Steam Library.
I always salute the people that pay into warframe, because these are the people that let that people that don't, enjoy the game. Who cares if i have to grind for 5 hours to get protea, and someone else buys her. They just did the grind in real life.
@@sirloollonator But you do know that in the end you need to max level both the normal and the prime because they give seperate mr xp right? Also always running relics gets stale, mate. At 1200 hours you enjoy doing different tasks.
i just wanna say somebody who has played warframe since and been a fan of of since launch i came back just a couple days ago and has been blown away since, i know this game meant alot to me when i cried cause i saw my rail jack, MY RAILJACK, i solo built that thing maybe thats why for someone who takes care of the dojo alone, but ive done new war, amazing, just did the quest for 1999 was blown away, so im def going through this resurgence and having a blast
I started 5 maybe 6 days ago bc of the destiny news, i had already tried warframe but i didnt understand it very well in the past, now with my fresh account im enjoying so much of the game mostly due to the community that helps a lot us new players, overall im enjoying the game a lot and i can see myself playing it long term
I missed the community post, but I'm more than happy to share my love of Warframe and the community here. I've met so many cool people through the game and being a part of the community. There's nothing better than a welcoming community that's a mix of new and veteran players. Love you all, Warframe devs, players, and content creators!
i only started a year ago and really feel this too. i was so used to toxic shooter looter gaming and then realized people can play games and be chill and nice and still care about being good players. i’m so grateful for de and the devs and the community
Definitely not too late to start playing. I just started about a year ago and it’s pretty much all I’ve been playing. 700 hours in and I’m working my way through steel path now. With all of the QoL updates there’s probably never been a better time to start playing. And Warframe doesn’t suffer the same content vaulting issue that destiny has, so new players don’t have to worry about missing out on entire campaigns worth of content.
Got in 6/7 days ago, havent spent a dime, having a blast. The action/gameplay side is pure dopamin. If you like micromanagement and a multitude of systems from your pg build to your freakin spaceship, its pure dopamine. There is a lot of time/gate keeping, but there's soo much to do that once youre done with one thing youve unlocked the next. After a week Im completely won over, and I decided to spend 20 bucks on the game. No gacha system, I payed for what I wanted, and I got what I wanted. The fact that this game is free at this level of quality is just mindblowing.
Always keep yourself challenged with content. There will be moments where you get just the right mod to push you into new heights. Mods like galvanized chamber literally trivialize massive portions of the game. Stay F2P, try not to buy mods. Essentially, keep yourself from hitting the power ceiling by doing everything legit. I've hit the point in warframe where any enemy under lvl 120 can be 1 tapped by any single weapon on my frame. The problem with being at the summit is that there is nothing up there. You will have years of fun with warframe so long as you don't hit that ceiling. I love that game with a burning passion, but I (at least for the time being) cannot be bothered to play anymore. Doing 10s of millions of DPS whilst also having the ability to completely armor strip any enemy in the game is legitimately not fun.
Man... I've been playing since 2014. I have almost everything in the game and I've only sunk in 47 USD. Trading premium currency is what kept me hooked. Unfortunately, I've been trading my time instead and it's something I can't get back, but I've had a lot of fun and that's one important aspect. I've never played too much that I've burned myself out and it's another reason why I still play to this day.
I've been obsessed with Warframe for almost 2 years. There is always something new to do or grind, and while it may seem dumb to some people, it just keeps me coming back. And, yes, the community is incredibly helpful and pretty cool.
There has never been a better time to get into Warframe. When I first joined it would've taken a lot of grind to get to the real meat of the story and world (Second Dream), and there wasn't that much besides the Plains of Eidolon. But since then they've added Fortuna, Deimos, The Deadlock Protocol, the Jupiter beautification, Duviri, and reduced a lot of the grind to get to the good stuff, in part because there's a treasure trove of good stuff before Second Dream now.
What really put me off was the plat farming, which I shouldn't have even done as a new player, but it just got so boring running the same missions to get percent drops.
better to plat farm later down the line, save everything u can, and then spend a day just dumping ur spare items for plat. ud be suprise what items you have that are actually worth something. and once u get into Aya farming, its WAYYY easier to start farming expensive items at low Mastery
Ive come back from several years away, and have 3 or 4 friends coming into it new. Since id played a lot before, these werent mandatory for me, but a big hurdle in the new player experience is they MAKE YOU play open world stuff like Eidolon or Orb Vallis super early. Its not great for momentum when they are like "these missions are fun, im gonna clear Earth" and then get thrown into the introductory PoE quest that is solo only, takes place on a giant open world map, also with no Archwing or any option to get around faster than Bullet Jumping 100s of meters through an open field. I can hear each of them in their voice be a little less excited about the game being shown that this is something that exists, and you have to do them to do Venus Junction or Mercury Junction. I think maybe talking to the people in town, going outside for 1 short open world mission, and returning, would be a fine introduction to it. But i mean making someone solo run the entire Vox Solaris quest at hour 5 of them playing the game is just jerks them around too hard.
@hdgdhnxbdx1619 sure, and teleporting is not a thing you do in normal missions so the person who has played single digit hours might not pick up on it. Even if you teleport around it still takes a while and is stomping on the brakes of the pace of the game at a critical time for newbies. Every single new player ive been with has stopped having fun the moment they are forced to do eidolon or fortuna stuff.
lolol the bit about first descendants is so accurate. a friend got me to try it, and when i was playing it i always wound up wishing i was plyaing warframe again so i just started playing warframe again instead
I started warframe back in 2017 or 2018 and have been playing on and off since, but now, I really have been enjoying the game way more than I thought I would‼️
Love how I started warfame at this time. I remember watching my brother play it and now I finally can. 200 hrs currently maining hydroid prime 11:34 brother told me just unlock new war, best advice ever
@@mitchkupietz fr. Had so much fun on my way to it and doing it. I don't really have a motivator now though so I haven't made much progress since then other than crafting my first Prime warframe and getting the helminth.
A quarter into the video, I realize that if Warframe ever died and there were to be another game in its stead, it would not exactly benefit from a sequel, it would actually be a better idea to play a Prequel. In some way, 1999 will serve as lore or an alternate universe to our current story, but in essence, there's a lot to the Warframe lore that is even juicier, begging to be explored. For one, we barely know about the Dax, Sentients, or Orokin unless you read through the hidden lore, but it's still a puzzle. Another one is that we'd like to actually experience first hand the Warframe lore, but in addition, I think the biggest ace up DEs sleeve is the Jordan Karis experience. I think everyone can agree on all of this.
Played warframe on release for like 2 years... stopped... played again after 3 years for another 2 years... now thinking about coming back again... lol!
I started the game back in early 2022 and barely racked up to 5hrs of game time due to the steep learning curve i had to go through just to get myself acclimitised to the games content. Came back 2 months ago and im at 100+ hrs and already gotten my first kuva weapon, necramech and archwing with a fully spec railjack which has been my main game mode lately and im drfinitely planning on staying with the game for a long long time
What do you think about Warframe in 2024?
Raghhh
Warframe is a good game I like it
I'm still waiting for railjack tau missions
I like it...though, I still find myself hating the standing system and some "softlocks" because of it that always pulls up my pulse because I hate the monotone chores they give me as the best way to befriend a given faction just so I can make, for example, a better Amp quicker
I may have ADHD that isn't diagnosed but I ain't that autistic😅 (no offense)
Oh, and the Riven mod trade.
Warframe is what Destiny 2 and many other F2P games are afraid to be. A good game and not a money-making machine to appease investors.
Yep, I am really happy that we have Steve as the CEO and Tencent as main shareholder. As far as I know, Tencent doesn't really interfere with their games which I respect ^^
@@MHBlacky_ENG I hope so.
True, my friend played it like 1000 something hours, build the dojo by himself and got a ton of prime without spending any money
meanwhile i spending almost 1000 bucks mostly on fashion 😂
I don't think they are not gaining money it's actually smart to make the topup currency same as the trading currency in game there's a lot of p2w lazy people edit I like to add this remember every platinum we have rotating from player to player as trade currency is someone else topup money
@froneaionut Host migration is a connection issue. Steel path spy could be several issues, and while I don’t want to say skill, it could be a matter of practice.
Also use Wukong with duration and just solo the spy missions. Cloud form doesn’t trip lasers.
Or Ivara with syndicate mod, she’s just a bit slower.
If you're coming from Destiny, The First Descendent, or just trying out Warframe for the first time, here's a pro tip.

Same lmao
Played it, thought "damn this is boring", left it for a week only to come back thinking "maybe i'm looking at it as a Warframe player, maybe if I give it a legit chance it might be fun", but nope, played it for like an hour or two, almost fell asleep, uninstalled
I myself kinda still had a good time with TFD, but I think it really got a lot of people to the point where they were like "Wait, wasn't there this other Game out there?" xD
I startet warframe 1 year ago and have 900+ hours its my fav game
Same but i have 200+ hours
I have a friend that has invested more time than me (her started after me) i currently have around 700+

“Warframe is here for you” and it will be as we all lift together, especially when times get rough.
Warframe and DE don't give a shit about us. Only about our money. Especially new players that they can rip off as they did when they launched prime resurgence.

warframes missions aren’t randomly generated. they are tilesets. even the order of the rooms isn’t completely random. every room is hand made and they have rules for what rooms can ajoin other rooms. this is nothing like, say minecraft or no mans sky.
This game fills a ridiculous power fantasy that I never knew I had till I started
Special shoutout to the reddit community and to all Tennos out there...I have not a seen a more friendly, supporting and nurturing community in any other game.
the moment where he said what warframe did after 11 years is epic
wish i found it though
Warframe makes me feel like the people making it care about me. I've lost that feeling from a lot of other game developers. It's easy to be a fan of the game, even though it isn't perfect... what game is? This one, however, has heart and is willing to share it with the player. If it were a person, I'd hug 'em.
id hug it too!!
Yeah the reverse philosophy of Arrowhead, it’s refreshing!
As mentioned in the The First Descendant reddit... That game's release generated a lot of comments like "This is just a Warframe, but worse" and got a lot of people actually interested in Warframe.
What?! I thought this was just a fashion version of flappy birds!? You are telling me there is more?!!
No way an ad started after 1:07

How did you know?
I'm saying right
Yup me too
“Somebody at Destiny accidentally hit the self destruct button” lmfao
Accidentally? more like hit it with a hammer then unloaded an entire arsenal on it.

First descendent bringing the genre into the mainstream
Destiny 2 reaching its finale before bungie getting absolutely gutted
And warframe 99 being hype as hell and rebs team seeming to release nothing but positives aince they took over (sure there was the dante and nezha nerfs but even that wasnt so bad)
Its time for a second golden age of warframe
Nezha nerfs were reverted?

Ikr???? Its crazy how the paid currency is priced to dissuade people from buying it
I played Destiny for 10 years and bought every collectors edition on Xbox and the platinum editions on my PC.

I also just started playing warframe this month..... so far I like the "my pace" vibe and almost everything can be grinded
cheers DE!🎉
Everything can be grinded
Yes. The whole ting with playing at your own pace is such a good selling point! I've played a lot of Genshin recently and I really don't like FOMO...
Yes i tried to get my buddy into it and he said its too big for him.. I told him to try to get to second dream but he refused
All Warframe has to do to crush 1st Descendant are three simple things:
1) Keep developing the game at the pace they have been
2) Keep the prices in the shop fair (and keep the Prime relic farming fair as it has been)
3) Release more skimpy Ember skins to pull over the horndogs from 1stDes.
Coomer skin with human looks will definitely pull them in
Number 3 won't beat TFD

TLDR: Games Goods, Stick around and you'll fall in love.
And now I thank my dad for my first grindy game and still loving the game more and more every year
"Reasonable amounts of grind" Say that to my 100 runs at the last Harrow piece I need from Rescue.
Old Harrow drop?😂
Why not just get Harrow from Circuit? That's an easy 1 hour grind.
@@DawnAfternoon Yeah, wait weeks for him to pop up
The RNG can be brutal, true.
@@Player-tz4yv That's still preferable to 100 Rotation C runs
As a recent First Descendent escapee, I can honestly say the Warframe grind, if you can call it that, is far less than the grindfest found in the First Descendent. Two months in, and I am MR 12 and 67% through the star chart but not feeling the need to rush anything. Cheers.

Started 5 years ago in 2019. MR28 now still loving the game.
As a destiny player, I think the rise of popularity is that destiny players are trying Warframe for the first time, this is because bungie has recently been laying off a lot of employees and the game is sitting in a hot dumpster right now.
And what are your thoughts about Warframe?
As far as the monetisation goes, here was my experience -
I bought a starter pack for $12 AUD after playing 100hrs for free, I got some stuff and a few hundred Plat.
The First Descendant made me love warframe even more. FR FR
It's a looter-shooter, flappy bird, streetfighter, music creator, fashion sim and more...
People realising how bad The First Descendent and coming to Warframe is just amazing. TFD gave more new players to DE than to Nexon
Hahaha probably xD
I personally had decent fun with TFD but I agree, that right now it doesn't even come close to Warframe ;)
I only played TFD for a couple dozen hours but each play session just made me miss Destiny’s gunplay and Warframe’s movement.
It's *unbelievable*, I did NOT expect WF to be what it is, to be honest, it felt like the genre of the game changed (or "evolved") as I played it
I play it for 4 years now and it still is crazy the amount to do in this game!
the biggest thing about the game is it doesn't demand your full attention all the time, though a couple fomo is here and there, like prime mods, game is still highly playable even without them, so its still considered a "chill game"

Watching Mactics just starting warframe and having a blast is so cute. He is juiced on the game.
Nidus on top Sis 💪🗿

7 year player here and still going strong. I've had games come and go, but Warframe has been a constant for me all this time.
That's where you start farming for things to sold on market and get platinum, you can start with mods or crack relics
I had the same issue, but then i bought the fulmin (shouldnt be a problem for a former d2 player). And this is a really good weapon.
the way you get more slots is by example, maxing frames and wapons to upgrade your mastery rank, each rank you will get some new addtional slots for frames and weapons, sometimes you can geth them to through the "seasonPass" aka nightwave. but the best way is just to maxing weapons and frames.

Or you grind other things for platinum and buy a prime warframe at the market having spent less time and no money in the end.
@@sirloollonator we spend money because we want to, not because we have to. personally i just want to support the company :p
@@sirloollonator But you do know that in the end you need to max level both the normal and the prime because they give seperate mr xp right? Also always running relics gets stale, mate. At 1200 hours you enjoy doing different tasks.
@@Bl1n Yeah, I never run relicts actually :D And I dont care about having all the xp either, I just want to have fun and do cool stuff.
i just wanna say somebody who has played warframe since and been a fan of of since launch i came back just a couple days ago and has been blown away since, i know this game meant alot to me when i cried cause i saw my rail jack, MY RAILJACK, i solo built that thing maybe thats why for someone who takes care of the dojo alone, but ive done new war, amazing, just did the quest for 1999 was blown away, so im def going through this resurgence and having a blast
After 11 years... _-Bungie/Sony-_ Warframe did THIS!
Hahaha love it :D
I started 5 maybe 6 days ago bc of the destiny news, i had already tried warframe but i didnt understand it very well in the past, now with my fresh account im enjoying so much of the game mostly due to the community that helps a lot us new players, overall im enjoying the game a lot and i can see myself playing it long term
Same, dude.
11:59 after 100 hours you make you character (second dream)
You are totally right. No need to ever spend a dime if you don't want to ^^
I've been obsessed with Warframe for almost 2 years. There is always something new to do or grind, and while it may seem dumb to some people, it just keeps me coming back. And, yes, the community is incredibly helpful and pretty cool.
I took a break off destiny, tried the first descendant, went straight back to warframe after finding out about cross save.
i started maybe 2 weeks ago and binging your content definitely helped me stick to the game and now i’m mr13 and i love it!
Oh wow, what a success story! :D
I'm really happy that I could help you get into the game more smoothly
There has never been a better time to get into Warframe. When I first joined it would've taken a lot of grind to get to the real meat of the story and world (Second Dream), and there wasn't that much besides the Plains of Eidolon. But since then they've added Fortuna, Deimos, The Deadlock Protocol, the Jupiter beautification, Duviri, and reduced a lot of the grind to get to the good stuff, in part because there's a treasure trove of good stuff before Second Dream now.
Totally agree. If you've ever fancied Warframe, then now is the time to strike :D
On point about the first decendant for me, haven't played for about a year, tried first descendant, now back playing Warframe every night.
"What you can do in Warframe? Yes."
Also, jokes aside. I'm a variety player, playing Warframe only.
U have no idea what ur saying they have teleporters all through the open world .
@hdgdhnxbdx1619 sure, and teleporting is not a thing you do in normal missions so the person who has played single digit hours might not pick up on it. Even if you teleport around it still takes a while and is stomping on the brakes of the pace of the game at a critical time for newbies. Every single new player ive been with has stopped having fun the moment they are forced to do eidolon or fortuna stuff.
lolol the bit about first descendants is so accurate. a friend got me to try it, and when i was playing it i always wound up wishing i was plyaing warframe again so i just started playing warframe again instead
me watching the part of this video about what warframe actually is after putting more than 1k hours into the game "ohhhh interesting"
I started warframe back in 2017 or 2018 and have been playing on and off since, but now, I really have been enjoying the game way more than I thought I would‼️
Love how I started warfame at this time. I remember watching my brother play it and now I finally can. 200 hrs currently maining hydroid prime
11:34 brother told me just unlock new war, best advice ever
New war is like a full game in itself
@@mitchkupietz fr. Had so much fun on my way to it and doing it. I don't really have a motivator now though so I haven't made much progress since then other than crafting my first Prime warframe and getting the helminth.
watching this at 1700 hours planning to recommend this to a friend who has a hard time deciding if he should pick the game, great video as always!
Played warframe on release for like 2 years... stopped... played again after 3 years for another 2 years... now thinking about coming back again... lol!
Focus on your personal finances and multiply your income. Unless you're already wealthy, then enjoy.

There are no bad weapons in warframe. Just one. the Stug
I just got a riven for it and I am gonna try to make a build work somehow.
tbh it aint bad
@@Infamouse33333 me too, tbh i dunno whats going to make it work
I started the game back in early 2022 and barely racked up to 5hrs of game time due to the steep learning curve i had to go through just to get myself acclimitised to the games content. Came back 2 months ago and im at 100+ hrs and already gotten my first kuva weapon, necramech and archwing with a fully spec railjack which has been my main game mode lately and im drfinitely planning on staying with the game for a long long time
This is sooo nice! :D
I am super happy that you are having such a great time! Enjoy every moment of it ;)
