I think having turnbuckles and shocks pre assembled us a huge bonus in my opinion. I could do without shock assembly as I typically want to add limiters but I F**king HATE putting turnbuckles together. My poor finger tips.
I got this kit when it first came out n it’s directions make it so easy to build, I sat down n started building n 12 hours later it was done n then I went to bed 😂
Love the TRX-4 range of RC cars, thanks for doing this video. My only issue with the kit is that I would rather use my own radio/receiver and save some more money.
yeah, that's one really nice thing about the SCX10II builder's kit. I'm sure some marketing guy and some engineer had a big argument on whether to make it a true kit or a partial RTR with included electronics.
Tamiya toy graded? They were the original company that started making scaled RCs way back in the early 80s. Ever heard of the vintage Tamiya Bruiser relaeased in 1985 when Reagan was President? Truck is 80% all metal/alluminum chasiss, its as scaled as you can get buddy. Today's modern scalers are actually a copy of that Bruiser chasiss but made of plastic. Every kid from the 80s wanted one but it was too expensive.

Joe Caiozzo agree 100%! I have a video on how to put together turnbuckles easily that might be of interest.
I recently built this kit, found it really good fun to build and the instructions are quite clear and precise. Hope you enjoy. 🙂
Oh snap I was looking at the trx4 on black Friday at norcal. We might have crossed paths that day. I was there from open until right before race time.

ScottzillaRC Lol just my daily limit of 6
Nice video, it's cool to listen to your opinion of a basher truck and crawlers

That kit is top of the line for what you pay. Makes Tamiya look like RC’s from wall mart
It's amazing. Really, really high quality. I hope Traxxas puts out more kits like this, it would definitely make me buy more.

Also I love Traxxas and owned an army of them but they are very new in the scaled market.
Great unboxing and info 👍 I really like your setup. I have some lights coming. Now I need some good content lol
ScottzillaRC thanks, looking forward to seeing your new setup and videos!
Nice unboxing. Nice that it comes with electronics. I'd like it cheaper and without electronics so I can use my own electronic stuff :)
Cool:)
