That vendor was hyped about his salmon sandwich. I like his enthusiasm. And I'd pay $10 each all day long and I live in the Pacific NW right on 3 bodies of saltwater that include the Pacific Ocean. So Brother, I know Seafood and how it should taste. I'd try this guy's food for sure! In fact we're having Salmon tonight for the 3rd time in a week. and last night was Razor Clams and Sea Scallops. Crab boil this weekend at our block party. I heard someone is making a Smoked Salmon Chowder. (won't be as good as mine) I can't eat enough seafood.

I'mma pig back on that, give a fan a chance to show you around our city. I'm from Chicago and we have so much to offer besides the big named Boujee restaurants. Chicago style Italian beef, Jibaritos, Bone in Pork chop sandwich with caramelized onions, pizza puffs, rib tips over fries drench in bbq, our Mexican community is fire, polish food, Chicano town, Little Italy, Humboldt park, Pilsen or little village and so much more. I watch Sooooooo many TH-cam foodie videos and people are sleeping hard on our culinary scene. And when they do feature us it's b.s. deep dish pizza or girl and a goat, which locals don't even eat that often. Out cracker thin crust pizza it something to behold!!!

I'm a big proponent of the small business doing a takeover and making their selves felt more and more. There's another spot called Al Sham(locations on Chelten Ave and City Ave) that have incredible salmon cheeseteaks as well.

I wish this young man nothing but very well and the best, I love the hard work ethic, and I totally get the thinking that if, hey, you got some real skills and drive and other businesses don't wanna do things the right way, whether that be because of the way they treat the employees which surely happens a lot, or if just the will to do your own thing in just making the food right and doing things the right way on your own principles with care; then absolutely do your thing my man, that Salmon looks truly great and Salmon is so versatile that we can use it on so many things and when cooked right/good it is really good and healthy. I'm a big proponent of the small business doing a takeover and making their selves felt more and more. Having more small business truly felt all over the country and really, the whole world, having success doing things with more care and values and less corporate corruption, where they've been putting the dollar over everything. Love small businesses.
PS: But yeah good thought JL, maybe you could even suggest it to him, I bet a quick home pickled onions might take it to even more, would be interesting option for his salmon burger, just a thought based on your onion comment. But looks great! 🙂
