Two kinds if Alcapurria. There is the brownish green banana, and the golden yellow yuca or cassava ( a typical caribean root vegetable ), both deep fried. Everything is good in this place. Don't even mention calories or exercise when you go there. Great review, thanks again for venturing deep in the hood to showcase its gems.
My favorite Freddy and Tony all day better than the one on 2nd Allegheny. Also don't be surprised by our generosity we Puerto Rican people are like that specially the one in the island will treat you like one of they own.
My brother just to clarify something, you had 2 types of alcapurria, the yellowish one the masa is made with yuca and the dark one the masa is made with green plantains, green bananas (gets dark when fried) and "yauitia" (a type of taro root) both delicious!!! I hope you can get sometime down here to Puerto Rico, we got so much great food to offer! Great video keep them coming!!

Good for you⭐ Keep up the GREAT work, God Bless
I've been to PR many times and love the food. Fortunately I live in Orlando now and get lots of places to eat their food here. Pernil is my weakness. The crunchy skin makes it a game changer every time.
