Apropos of nothing, but the bit of rocking and swaying in 'Bridget's' motion is utterly charming. One more captivating aspect of a superb layout. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your kind comments, glad you like the layout. Strangely, "Bridget" is the only one of my Baldwins that rocks from side to side, the other two don't do it at all.
That's a nice little layout - I like the buildings and general scenery, like other posters. Looks like you do a lot of home building of structures etc. Good for you - another modeller like me
That was a very enjoyable video, I can't wait to show it to my grandson when he comes up. I'm sure it will give him more ideas to think about towards his 009 layout. He's planning a 4'x2'8 layout, which hopefully he'll be starting soon. He's building a house to go on it at the moment, then I think he's building a pub and either a school or Chapel......cheers James 🙂👍
@Gwenen-009 I'm sure he'll enjoy it, and I'll make sure he posts updates of his progress with his 009 layout. Speaking of which, I'm also planning to build a 009 layout, but I guess I'll end up involved in my grandson's layout first. I've got Peggy, Bridget, and Hummy for mine. Along with a few ALR wagons and two ALR coaches 🙂👍
I really love your weathering on that excavator and rolling stock well anything thats weathered basically 😊....Do you have any how to videos🤔 in your archives? ☘🇮🇪
Thank you for your kind comments. I get my weathering ideas from watching videos on TH-cam. Laser Creation-World, Everard Junction, Bunters Yard, Jason Jensen Trains are some of the many I watch. I've spent many years building and painting military model kits so I've picked up a lot of tips that way. If there is something in particular I need to learn how to do, I will search for it on TH-cam and on Google.
@@Gwenen-009yes I watch Everard Junction and jj..on TH-cam, suppose everything just takes practice and patience....painting the war figures paid off then, nice work😊
@@deswright2075 yes lots of practice and watching other people is the key. I wanted the layout to be like a diorama with trains moving through it, rather than a train set.
Well done! Superb attention to detail, and depicts life in deepest Wales . . . .
@@peterrobin9872 thanks for your kind comments, glad you like my layout.
I love: the flickering light in the shed . The trains going slowly. The sound. The landscape and much more ❤❤❤

Thanks for your kind comments, glad you like the layout. I have built a lot of it myself.
Unusual layout. Quife a good assortment of buildings and structures give this layout a certain amount of atmosphere! Thanks for uploading.
