  • This was a tutorial made exclusively for Patreon, however I am now releasing it publicly. Please enjoy.
    Note, I have not made a video for the pendant I show in the video, If you would like me to please ask me to in the comments.
    This is my favorite head pin. Therefore I decided to share only here, my teir 3 and higher patreon group. I am using 20 gauge wire and am using about a 6 inch length. You can make them longer if needed. Be patient with yourself in making them.. it really is practice. I will be adding some videos soon where I use these head pins to make some beautiful but simple little pieces. So please have some on hand. God Bless
    Here is my amazon link for some 20 gauge copper. I do get a small commission if you go to amazon and make a purchase through my link. amzn.to/3Nq2vtb

    Well explained Cheryl. I so enjoy when Masters have boo boos during their taping. Simply because that is what happens to all of us newbies. Then we get a double treat watching the Masters fix them. Well done!

    • @cherylst.pierre3148
      @cherylst.pierre3148  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Of course the masters make boo boos. Sometimes you should fly by the seat of your pants so to speak.. allow yourself the freedom to explore and enjoy the process... being perfect all the time gets stressful. I have to remind myself of this all the time.. And yes wire wrapping can get stressful at times.. especially when I have a commissioned piece. Hugs and best of luck.

Thank you so much for sharing. Also I absolutely love your earrings and the pendant. If you never made a video for the pendant yet, I would be really interested in it. Thank you so much. I recently made heart head pins for xmas when I ran out. I did it free hand for some earrings and they came out cute, but I love the curly cue on your heart. I will be making some because I love hearts and want it to become my thing for all jewelry I make. To have either a heart clasp or head pins. Thank you!

    Thank you for a terrific idea - directions were so great I was able to wrap the first one to be 7 mm and good. Question - you indicted you would share samples of other head pins but there was only this one - where can I locate the other’s?

      The head pins are kind of hidden in designs..

    The heart headpins are so cute, I have to practice making them‼️ I am wondering if it would be easier to straighten the head pin out with nylon pliers⁉️ Happy wire working‼️

    • @cherylst.pierre3148

      I dont recomend it as you would deform the heart. Give it a go and see what i mean.

      It isnt easy for sure, I now use a tall tripod which is easier to some degree but it still isnt a natural position as I have to outstretch my arms which takes away strength and aim to some degree... I still cant have it too high or I cant see if Im in frame. I still need to attempt making rings under it. I think it has its issues because I am a one person show... lol. I am not the best at videos for sure.. I am just doing the best I can to share with you. Hugs

    • @cherylst.pierre3148
      @cherylst.pierre3148  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can give it a try with 22 but it wont be as sturdy

    I cannot for the life of me understand why people are PAYING for this on Patreon. I've been watching a lot of videos on You Tube lately learning wire wrapping techniques. This is the POOREST of all of them. I'm cringing. Ms. St. Pierre's work is sweet and nice but she cannot teach.

    • @cherylst.pierre3148
      @cherylst.pierre3148  ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried to close down my patreon account. In order to do so people need to stop supporting me in it.. Even thought I asked them to stop their payments they wont.. I only have the small membership open as I closed the higher amount ones as people left. The only reason my patreon is open is because people want to help me with a small payment. They do it out of love.
