What a beautiful video! thanks for the upload, I really enjoyed it. the only "sad" thing to me is that compared to the late 90´s and early 2000´s all these cars look totally the same. they might have differend mod kits, colors and stickers but their overall shape is so identical that its really hard to tell if your watching a hyundai, ford or toyota when you see them from the side or from above.
The worst part is they sound the same mostly . That's the worst part In the 90s, the subaru impreza , Lancer, Lancia, Toyota Celica all have distinctive unique sound.
I'm kind of new to WRC and would like someone to explain to me why the cars when braking or decelerating have that kind of roaring sound in the exhaust or engine.
Anti-lag system. The cars are igniting unburnt fuel in the exhaust to keep the turbochargers spooled up. This allows them to stay in a more optimal powerband so they can accelerate faster out of corners and not have to wait as long for the turbocharger to build boost.
i'm new to rally. Can someone explain what happens if you get a puncture or you need to repair the car DURING a stage, does the timer still tick when you're repairing your car or do you have a certain amount of time that you can use freely for repairs (not talking about services after the stage). I don't understand how Neuville was only 10 minutes behind first place with those huge repairs on track whilst Rovanpera had zero issues. Was Neuville just racing faster and made the time back or what? Sry for the rant.
Hi! Thank's for watching! There is no time allocated for repairs during a stage. The driver and co-driver have to make a quick, difficult decision whether to repair a puncture in the middle of the stage, or to try and drive the rest of the stage and hope that damage caused by the puncture doesn't become terminal. Because after the stage, they get much longer to work on the car before they have to start the next stage or go back to service. In this case, Neuville made all of his repairs during the rally after the stage on the road section. He didn't stop in the stage to change the puncture on Friday morning for example. Hopefully this helps!
What a perfection of video! No talking, just racing.
Beautiful footage and thanks to everyone that made it all happen. Best drivers in the world! 🌍

This shot is incredible... 😍
I think it's almost the same place Takamoto hit 193 kmh in the past.
Watching rally just leaves me itching to become a rally driver

@@krudmuphinstudioz Thank you for explaining this.
what is that tube that comes out the front¿?
It's a snorkel to help get clean air to the engine when needed
@@brandonbentley4916 interesting, thanks!
Why some cars have snorkel intake? Like i know the purpose of it but why some has it is there a river section?

@@DirtFish helped a lot! Thank you!
If you have to do a repair it's your bad luck..you lose time or if it takes to much time to repair..retire from event😂
That Yaris team is totally incredible.. but how are those cameras even ALLOWED so close to the road, don't the cars sometimes hit them?😱
5:39. What did he crushed? 😱
It was better than last year. Vehicles must be zero mileage or less than 10,000KM or to attract sponsorships. Let's meet next year
rear intake hyundai no ?
As I said from day one. I drive a Toyota but hoping Hyundai could do something😅
Why Hyundai don‘t have any airintakes on the roof?
They had one put on Saturday

It's not about the roads fella, it is about the durability, reliability, resilience and engine power and off course the driver behind the steering.

Honestly it does seems that way. Big rocks in the middle of the road and Coinciding with only when Hyundai was driving. Seems like a trap.
