I just bought this fan. It's very difficult to work in my garage during the hot and humid summers we "enjoy" here in central Illinois. I put this fan in a back corner of the garage and just aim it in my general direction. It does a great job keeping me cool enough to work. I've never used it on it's highest setting. I usually have it on low and it still provides a ton of air flow, without drying my eyes out. I considered their floor model 24" fan but I never have a clear path between any two points in my garage. Even if I did, it would just kick up a lot of dust. In any case, I consider the fan a great addition to my garage and I wish I would have purchased it a long time ago.
@@gotminnam If I remember I will try to update you because that is my intention, I live in a travel trailer in the south in the summer without air-conditioning so it gets stinking hot. Considering buying this one to appease him and the way you're cheesing over this thing has got me rolling. Not even waiting anymore. Thanks for the review!
I'm doing the same for myself...the AC is about 5 ft away from me and my fan is about 3 ft sitting in front of the AC...this beast is the power I want.. it may blow the comforter right off but who cares lol
One thing to consider is you will have an equal amount of air going in as you do coming out, that is why the fog does not really dissipate because some is being sucked back in. For a very hot shop or garage you will just be moving hot air around, and only feel kind of cool standing directly in its path. I have one of these and in a 100 degree garage it just blows hot air all around and is very noisy. Useful in certain circumstances
@Dan the man If you get one you definitely will not be disappointed ..I have one in my garage can’t make it through the summer without it …My brother got one for his pizzeria He loves it 👍
