If none of these methods seem right to you, you could get some sort of old music and play along with the drumline of that year, but as you do so, watch their techniques, take note of their rhythmic notation and accuracy and of course be as clean as possible, if you see or hear something they’re doing that you aren’t, record yourself doing it and view the recording of you, then them, then yourself again.

Try playing everything very slowly in order to analyze your form and develop better sound quality when going faster
get private instruction, and they will evaluate your bad habits and fix that
