La oportunidad de mi vida para ver el mejor concierto imaginable, en mi propia ciudad, y no pude asistir. Busqué mucho tiempo sin éxito alguna reproducción en internet y hoy lo localizo casualmente, veo que fue subido hace un año. Gracias, Crimson King. Esto es una joya entre las joyas de Mike Oldfiel.
....En este Concierto fui yo y fue en Santa Cristina (A Coruña) cerca de 150.000 Personas aproximadamente acudieron a ese Concierto y actuaron también The Corrs y Luar Na Lubre Fue Impresionante y una delicia para los que fuimos por la Musica y por el Paisaje donde fue.....Precioso,Precioso de Verdad.

Estuvimos allí presentes, te puedo asegurar que posiblemente unas 120 mil personas, la playa de Sta Cristina llena, fue un gran concierto, no sólo Mike Oldfield, sino Luar na libre y The Corrs, fantástico también, pero ESPECTACULAR

Helen "Pepsi" Demacque is a great singer to collaborate with, I just wondered how many tones she has. And here movement/dance is so full of energy. Mike Oldfield is not only a great composer and a multi-instrumental musician of the best ones, but he has the gift to find wonderful voices for his songs. And not only the girls-see that guy of THE STRUTS, Luke Spiller. Worth to remember his name, too!
Yo estuve allí, unas 100.000 personas en la playa (dicen). No sabía de esta grabación de TVG. Se rumoreaba que Antena3 grabó el concierto para emitirlo luego, pero nunca más se supo... Me encanta The Songs of Distant Earth. Y además The Corrs y Luar Na Lubre por el mismo precio (gratis) ¡Qué tiempos! Por la mañana andaban los de Luar Na Lubre por la playa tranquilamente, recuerdo a Rosa Cedrón ¡Que altura! Para mi impecable este directo, creo que fue el que cerró la gira "Then and Now" por todo lo alto. Lo único que heché de menos fueron los fondos luminosos que utilizó en otros conciertos de la gira (por ejemplo Leganés, al que también asistí), claro que este fue el único gratuito para el público y habría que reducir costes supongo.

Tremendo conciertazo en el que tuve la suerte de estar y Mike estaba entregado. Una de esas noches que todo confluye para que el concierto sea épico y la crítica internacional lo calificó como tal en su momento.
Recuerdo que tenía casi 5 años y lloré a más no poder por querer ir a ese concierto y no me dejaron por ser tan pequeño y por la de gente que había ahí. Medio le consolé viendolo por la tele :_(
