To me this is by far one of the greatest live performances in human history.
Update: Seems like a copyright claim mangled the video and audio quality. Oh well, I tried.

I was there with my dear late wife. We got soaked, but we didn't care. The concert was amazing and in an outstanding venue. Great memories whenever I watch this.

I highly doubt that anyone else will be to outdo or match this level of a rock music performance! This is simply outstanding on every level. Every musician performs flawlessly and the vocalists are devine.

47 and first time listening to Mike Oldfield. Wow!!!!
Always in time 46 here and listening from 4 years old. Started with the magical Platinum vynil with astonishing butterfly cover , in some aspects better than Tubular Bells.
Listening to those tracks for over a decade when I found Mike Oldfield's music. This piece still gives me the same emotions and goosebumbs every single time. Had a 1088km trip (so said the gps) and listened to this over and over again... It felt out of this world, the highways, the night, me and his music. I would do the trip again for no other reason than to feel this. Amaizing...beautifull....there are no enough words.
23 years; the time that has passed SINCE this spectacular performance of 1 of my ALL-TIME fave albums of his, AND the age of my FIRST born. Born in a GREAT year! Gives me chills down my spine EVERY time I listen to this. Phenomenal. #mayhismusicliveon My eldest son even likes his music; thanks to his Mum lol. (ME, did I say?) Lol.

So much going on here : The Indian lady singing, the little girls speech like telling an old story, the sirens, the sound of pumping heart and the tubular bells / yet we have the finale with all this together with the heavy drums. fantastic!
Branson's finest hour was achieved by backing Mike Oldfield for the first Tubular Bells album.
I only came across this today, totally stopped me in my tracks .. this man is a bloody musical genius!

The encore. Same as what was just heard. Because once is not enough. I think perhaps the best thing I've ever heard on TH-cam and quite possibly the best thing I will ever hear on TH-cam. Years ago the phrase trance music was used for various songs. This is the ultimate.
Its a musician like no other that I have listened to yet a masterpiece of the highest degree 🎉
Thank God for the seventies and the musical genius of youth which emerged -- at 73 now I am reliving this time through the music. I was fucking awesome!
Oldfield is a pioneer and master in combining acoustic traditional instruments with electronic music. I think he was the first one, in the early 70's.
Mike is truly in a league of his own.. never to be replicated!

Amazing by all I get lost in it . A true master peice ! And the tubular bells give me goose bumps, the voices the orchestration the best I have ever , I have listened to it over so many years and love till this day 2022. Mike Oldfield please do another concert I would travel from from Australia to see this

I love his music since my childhood. When I was 14 others laughed on me and asked me "What is this" ? I couldn't explain them what I feel when I listen to his music because they would not have understood. Mike Vangelis and Jare were my favorite in that time. They said I am an UFO...Who knows ?....

This concert at Horseguards was absolutely phenomenal, atmosphere electric - thank you Mike Oldfield - best I've ever been to and with my mate Richard Hill, we danced and got soaked in the rainstorm.
