The manual says "You can use your Strymon MiniSwitch or an external, non-latching (momentary) type switch to access the cloudburst Freeze or Infinite modes." But I don't know more than that.

I honestly believe that people will still be watching these Cyberattack videos long after the pedals themselves are forgotten. "Grandpa, is that really what CGI looked like in the 21st century?" a child will ask one day in a post-apocalyptic society. "Yes, of course," the grandpa will answer, because everything else from our era will have been forgotten or discarded.
"What's a guitar pedal?" the child will ask. ""It's like an image filter or micro-acid dose you apply to your music, instead of an image or tour head. People would attach these pedals to their energy generation bikes, so that it would change the sound by affecting the electrical current that ran through the guitar, which is an obscure kind of touchsynth we've never succeeded in replicating"
The NightSky can be tweaked and pushed in way more directions than this pedal, like the NightSky is more of a tool kit you can mess with however you see fit. The Cloudburst has fewer places it can go, but the basic starting sounds you get from it are extremely good, and I think the range of the Decay knob basically covers every “realistic” reverb you would need as long as you don’t need an exact vintage sound like a spring or something. And the Cloudburst can still get weird too. It’s just not as broad as the NightSky.

Bare in mind that pedal is equipped with exact same cloud algorithm in the Bigsky. Strymon is used to sell old things like they were super new. I totally disagree with their marketing policy.

I think this pedal needs a Cyberattack mod where there's an advanced Ensemble mode that sounds like the Original Macintosh Quadra startup sound.

The NightSky does cool pitch shift stuff but it doesn’t sound like the Ensemble thing Cloudburst does

It's not the same. It's based on that algorithm but it's been changed considerably.
I would know, I own the Bigsky and this definitely has something different going on.
