Best streaming cloudburst video I have seen so far, one of the reasons because you are the first and only one I've seen to explain how to use the mini switch, not to include the fact that you also have shown me exactly how to hold the switch down while plugging it up to get other attributes. Thank you man you're the best
Excellent! Very well done! Best demo yet. Absolutely concise and practical. Evidence you don’t have to shred to present a great video. Thank you for making this.
I had read the instruction many many times, until I watched this I could not understand how to use the freeze at all . Thank you so much I was about to return the pedal.
Great demo mate, I literally just got this pedal out of the box and the clear explanation of connection options was really useful (and refreshing). As a middle aged ordinary guitarist myself I think this concept is great. Good luck and one new sub here 🤟🏽
I stumbled across your channel with this video, as I was scoping out cloudburst demos. Thanks for this. I really don’t know much about pedals but you gave me some good insights on stuff I would even think of! I’m subscribing too dude from one ordinary guitarist to another! A nice find on a beautiful sunny Saturday in the foothills of NC! I hope your channel builds up.
Cheers. I’ve been enjoying my Cloudburst - but I don’t have a mini switch. Nice to see you explain how that works and sounds. Your demo has convinced me that we be a really useful addition. Appreciate it.
Good job pointing out the TS/TRS - mono/stereo cable routing options. Not many folks take the time to explain and point those out. Quite helpful for new folks getting into the gear game.
Very clear, useful demo...thank you.. :-) My Cloudburst came a few days ago....and this is the best pedal I've ever bought... it seems so perfectly suited to the kind of ambient acoustic guitar I play. There's something almost AI like in the way the sound seems to shape itself around what you're trying to create. At the moment only tried it through my Yamaha Steel Silent and a Laney Audiohub 150.... you don't have to spend a fortune to get a great sound at home !! .
Very nice debut video. Thanks for explaining the connections. I will have to buy some TRS to L/R TS patch cables if I get a Cloudburst.. All of my other stereo pedals are straight L/R TS connections. I know they did this to save space but I personally don't like it. Made me rethink purchasing this pedal. Your review was very helpful. BTW, I am newly retired and just getting back to guitar after a multi-year absence.
Pleasant surprise David, I've been following your other channel for years. Great to have a familiar approach to new territory! Good luck with the channel.
Loved the review and great first video. Just got this last night and looking forward to using the mini switch when it arrives. Great explanations of all the options available there with the extra switch
In fairness, he said he had just returned to music so that's a caveat I was mindful of and I'm sure that will change with experience. You can also FF if you want to get to sounds.

Excellent. Best review of the functionality of this pedal I've seen. Looking forward to future videos. (I'm an older guitarist, too 😊.)
Awesome, thank you!

Great video. I took a 20 year break from the guitar and music in general. Just subbed to the channel. All my best wishes from the UK 😊😊😎😎🎶🎶🎶🎶

Yes I agree it is an amazing pedal thanks for watching
Great channel name, and as an "older guy" myself, much appreciated :)
Thanks for the comment
Thanks, great review, got the cloudburst this weekend and the mini switch today! Very useful

Thanks so much for the support
Great video. I've learned way more from your video than from actual Strymon videos on the Cloudburst. Subscribed 👍
Thanks for the support
Thank you for this, man. I just purchased this pedal and was having so issues understanding some of the controls. This video helped me immensely.
Thanks for watching
Good post.
The only one I've seen that shows the stiches ad inputs.
Something everyone normally misses.
Thanks for watching

Thanks for going through different modes & features of the pedal. I just ordered one last week. 😎🎸👍🎶
Thanks
You’re welcome. I just received the Strymon cloudburst, midi hub and deco v2 yesterday.
@@33andonethirdrecords how exciting
I have watched a number of your photography videos. Nice to see you doing some music,
Cool video my friend! Keep it up. On suggestion is boost the gain to give a bit more volume when uploaded.
Yes it does.
Great information! Great video as well. Looking forward to seeing more from your channel.
Thanks so much my first video
All infos I was looking for! Thanx!
Thank you, I am really thinking about this being my next pedal! Also, I like your shirt, may I ask, where did you purchase it?
Thanks my wife got it from target.
Good luck. I like the idea of your story telling. Sounds good. Strymon...
Thanks
You are anything but ordinary mate, great demo and well done, cheers.
Thanks so much
Great job my friend! Love how you broke the pedal down making it easy to follow. Please consider doing the same for el Capistan
Thanks unfortunately I don’t have that pedal but I love the strymon gear
Great walkthrough! Thanks!!
Hello nice review can the mini switch can switch between settings like plate, to hall etc?
Thanks for review.....waiting for mine......can we use a piano sustainpedal for the freeze function?
I’m not sure thanks for watching
Great video! Can we use nom Strymon switch to access freeze mode?
Nice review. I’m trying to make a decision of whether to buy this or the big sky
Thanks it’s a great pedal
You earned a new subscriber.
Would a Roland EV-5 expression pedal work with this pedal?
I think so but I would check
just SUBCRIBED nice explain bro !!!
Thanks for the support
Great video thank you
What extra functionality (if any) would a multiswitch give over the mini switch?
I don’t think it would give any extra functionality
Keep up the great job 👍
Thanks
question ? THE little black box is sold with the cloudburst ?
No it’s extra
@@theordinaryguitarist thanks for the answer!!!
Do you know if a volume pedal could be used in the EXP jack?
I’m not sure.
wow they should pay you for this video, you just made me buy this one
Can i also use that function on expression pedal?
I don’t think so
great job!
Thanks
Yeah once i saw the splitter cable...i lost interest. If you cant afford stereo outs than i already know the rest is gonna suck or be a hassel.
I think I have seen you in other TH-cam videos. Did you ever do camera reviews? lol
My friend you seem like such a nice guy but you would do better if you just stop talking and start playing. Very frustrating. Sorry.
In fairness, he said he had just returned to music so that's a caveat I was mindful of and I'm sure that will change with experience. You can also FF if you want to get to sounds.
He is clearly talking about a product. Heaps of information! Great video
I bought this pedal and only have one thing to say about it..."I love it"
It is amazing
