BUT, is it any good? We've unboxed and given this beta version a quick test, but now it's time to go IN DEPTH. In part 1, we look into the overall design and image quality. Subscribe to know when part 2, covering audio quality, low light and battery, is released!

Hello. The product is interesting ... but I need to understand if it is possible to connect it to a control switch such as Atem mini or Yolobox with an hdmi adapter. Can you help me? Massimo from Montecatini Terme, Toscana

So I’m looking to use either 1 or 2 Mevo Pros or Mevo Starts to start live streaming wedding ceremonies since the occupancy of weddings have greatly declined due to COVID. So my biggest question is which camera do you like better quality wise? Also do you suggest connecting a Hot spot Modem to each camera or do you feel like running the stream off of your phones connection is the best solution?

Good question! You getting a lot of inquiries for live streaming weddings? I have not tested having multiple Mevo cameras using my phone as a cellular access point, honestly. I do recommend going the mobile hotspot route assuming the hotspot can create a wireless LAN to control each through the app. This allows you to walk away from the camera and avoid signal dropout.

Does it save the settings you made, like the different camera angles, or do you have to do it everytime you switch it on?

    Can it zoom in camera?

Would this camera also allow you to participate in a zoom get-together ?

I haven't tried but you can theoretically put the Mevo into NDI mode, connect to Newtek's Virtual Input app with it (ndi.tv/tools/) and then virtual cam it into Zoom. For all I know, though, it can be glitchy AF with being 100% wireless and all.

    Great video :)
TH-cam only allows live streaming from a computer unless you have at least 1000 subscribers and then you can livestream directly from your mobile device.
With this camera will TH-cam allow to livestream without having reached the 1000 subscribers?
    Thank
    Fulvio

I use it for live streaming for about 3 months. See it live here th-cam.com/video/1EFrCZFHdOQ/w-d-xo.html . On the + side: kind of works, app crashes from time to time but overall it works. What i don't like is the price for multiple streaming on all platforms. It requires a 200$/year subscription. That's almost the price of the camera. i would also like the ability to use the sd card as a source for background sound. Just select a wave, mp3 file whatever instead of having to plug in a mp3 player or phone for music.
