    With patch 1.10 attack/aggressive strategies have received a nerf with higher tyre degradation. As a result most of these strategies will have to be revisited, as a band aid you can use soft tyres with light as they can be used as a hard tire. Will have to revisit this guide at some point once I figure out the new strategies.

      I recorded this in tandem with the Williams video and suffered an audio issue, as a result if I wanted to get this out this weekend it was an unfortunate compromise, still kept it in in case someone wanted to have a look at suggested strategies.

  • @Spo0ny_
    @Spo0ny_ ปีที่แล้ว +5

    On 28:32 you should have sent both dirvers out immediately. Russel was in his flying lap. So he would not be in the way when you begin your flying laps. Stroll on the other hand was in his out lap. If he overtakes you in his flying lap he will be in the way in yours as it was happening to Alonso in 28:58.
    So when you look for gaps, also look at who is in their out lap and who is not.

    • @NeroBax

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rain is just getting the timing right for the most part and even though it sounds easy it can be diffcult, you can always mirror the AI but a good rule of thumb is that at 0.80 mm you wanna switch from softs to inters if waters is gonna keep increasing and the other way around if water is decreasing.

    @MyVidss1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The race i really have a huge problem with is Imola. I don't know if it's a bug but soft tires last about 11 laps on standard pace. The AI seems to have the same problem but they can keep their pace and pit at 17%.

  • @RiriSion
    @RiriSion ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I tried starting with -2.0 kg of fuel once or twice, I didn't find the gain worth the trouble in terms of actual race pace, in fact, -2.0 usually means you can push for 6/7 laps before you go there, and I find it goes quicker than just start with less fuel and don't push

  • @Kaib902
    @Kaib902 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Trying to figure out the tire advantage on hard is basicly work because most time you wont be running on standard and you dont know what pace other cars are using so finding out what lap advantage you have is hard to do entell you get into the race and see how fast other cars tires are wearing

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tyre advantage as I mention in this video is basically just how much better a tyre is compared to other tires, there is no real way to figure out what the difference in advantage is other than running races as you say when it comes to other modes.

    I notice in your videos you dont use avoid risky curbs with attack to help during times when deg is high (after a lock up etc), how comes? From my experience you get standard level deg with aggressive teir pace while also preserving the drive train

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is a little too cheesy for me as you can have a quicker race running avoid high risk curbs than without in some cases due to less degradation. So I try to avoid it as much as possible.

    What a great video, it helped me a lot. What I can't understand are the strategies for each race, what does it mean that there are so many strategies? When should we use one and when another?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Generally I would for the most part only start on soft tires if you are starting towards the back of the grid, otherwise mediums for the most part. The strategies are there as suggested strategies as there is no best strategy that will work for any given stiuation.

  • @VlRUSOFFICIAL
    @VlRUSOFFICIAL 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Why are my tires always worse in terms of lap lifetime and how fast I need to change? Every time when I try a strategy it shows me that it goes under the threshold 1-2 laps earlier than what your game tells you. Am I doing something wrong? Eg, for Barcelona the 4 stint strat : I need to make the first pit at the 15th lap instead of 17th to have the same graphic. Also my time with these setups are slower as well. Trying to figure out if I have for some reason higher degradation or if they had an update

    • @Kaib902

  • @rhysblythe
    @rhysblythe ปีที่แล้ว

    Im sure this has been said or answered already but do you still need to cool the tires down when running max attack? I thought it caused more accidents or is that just in the last game, does it only cause more deg/engine wear?
    Ive been trying not to watch any guides but caved in 😅 ive been cooling the tires as soon as they turn yellow

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you hover over the tires they will tell you their max temperature. As long as you stay below the maximum overheat temperature you are usually fine running tires on attack. Patch 1.10 changed it up though to make attack not as powerfull but it is still great on low degradation tracks.
      The main source of accidents seem to be brake cooling and your driver instructions, under driver instructions you can set your drivers to take low risk overtakes and low risk on defending, this mitigates for me crashes to just 1-3 "big ones" over the course of a season.
      High engine temps does have an effect on engine wear yes, but the performance gain is worth it in my opinion.

      @@NeroBax very useful, thanks!!
      I've played around the the 'High Risk kerbs' exploit and its a bit disgusting how quickly it cools the tires off, I don't like to use it cause it literally feels like a direct cheat but if I need to stop Sargeant beating me for 13th I'll use it

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On some tracks, if you go into the tyre options you'll be able to see the max temperature you can run a tyre, as long as you don't go over it you are usually fine.

    What would you recommend if it’s raining or if a race is going to change from dry to wet?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว

      Basically just nailing the changes would do you alot of good, from drys to inters/wets and back a good point to change would be around 0.80mm of water on the track both on the way down and on the way up.

    But is a full race on attack mode not to accidentprone? in 22 it always felt like that
    PS: and does this work against hard ai races? cause they are basicly doing the same arent they?

    • @NeroBax
      @NeroBax  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      In 23 it is not really accidentprone, the main reason you will have accident is due to tactics (aggression) and sponsorship that lowers control aswell as driver stats. Since the AI are trying to use the best strategy possible on hard you can always emulate them, but this should still be good.

      Running in the red is fine, running above the maximum temp is not. You can check this during races but as long as you don't overheat them beyond maximum running attack and pushing as hard as you can will be fastest in most cases.
