From my research, the teams will actually utilize intense and rushed development, when in the past they nearly always used standard. The teams still don’t fully utilize sliders, I hope that they will fix that in the future, like make the teams on hard focus on cornering/top speed rather than brake cooling.
Playing as Haas as well, i've been doing some very aggressive strategies throughout the career so far and it works quite well, Medium/Soft/Soft or the other way around or mediums in the middle, using avoid high risk kerbs to get the temps on the tires down and take it off when the temps are down again. Works very well to be able to stay on full attack while also keeping good tirewear, one other thing i love doing is overfueling so i can use high fuel for longer than the other teams, seems to be working good too 😄 Then doing a lot of micro on both drivers in the middle stint, especially in regards to ERS usage. Great video and insights in how to develop the car and new parts, i wasn't entirely sure how to go about it and might not have started out fully efficiently xD
I haven't tried over fueling, but under fueling by 3 to 4 laps works well. It gives a performance increase the first half of the race and saves the engines so you'll never need to purchase one. Once I had the fastest car, I ended up driving 90% of the race with the engine turned down.
Oh my, I was doing everything wrong during the race! I was trying to keep the tyre "yellow" for most of the time, that's why I was falling from 12th to 20th! You save me and Norris! Thank you!
I love this, comparing it to my own save. Really interesting to see the attack race strategy, i never do that. The sporting director was awful for me; loads of issues; maybe because i didn't know the pitcrew well enough. I had a massive issue with the factory and not being able to get my parts out until i upgraded it.
@17:52 medium in red means overheat, and game don't joke with tyre temperatures. magnussen is considerated as "bad driver" and chances of driving mistakes are huges when tyre is overheating. it also apprear that most of AI don't makes their tyres reaches 30% but pit at 50% degradation. i think AI know the best possible strategies and probably have some tips and trick that you can't guess if you don't try all possibles strategies.
That's what makes the ai weak the fact they don't extract everything out of their tyres. With hard AI they do this and regularly overhead their tyres now while always pitting 30 - 35% degredation because aggressive strategies are the strongest on this game. Never use yellow... its better to pit stop more and use aggressive/attack. Not to mention the confidence system does not reward passive play, if you get a couple overtakes early... that's your driver on very high/peak confidence meaning +6 - +8 on all your pace/racecraft stats meaning even the worse drivers are now 88 overall in stats + the higher the confidence lower chance of errors etc. It's a win win win no losses.
I guess in the around the grid save, the best thing you can do is running Hard difficulty in the races and standard development, because you probably don't want the save to keep going for 40 years
Not really. The main reason for this campaign is to see how the AI develop their cars. We already know what hard does in races because it can be seen in a 15 minute race... where as Hard development needs atleast a season to see how they are improved??
I have learned everything i know from you thank you. Out of curiosity... why dont you take extra fuel so you can push for longer? Specially as we save 20kg in parts so taking an extra 3-5kg worth of full so you can be more aggressive makes sense ...and you really notice it around laps 5-20 when the ai are on yellow while your still on red pushing. It really helps getting past the drs trains aswell because around laps 5 - 20 you can gain a second advantage to get out of DRS range too.
Pushing comes with a couple of drawbacks particularly early when you dont have decent cooling for both engine and brakes as you pushing leads to higher temperatures which degrade both tires and engine quicker. So I just prefer not to but is definitively a viable strategy.
Hard mode pushes tires to a limit. Lap time records being put with 45% tires life left. Crazy. Upgrades needs to be on point and even then a point is no guaranteed.
I like to go heavy one click on fuel, push hard for one lap, then change to hard on fuel and normal or push on tyres for about 10 laps, save some tyres then have better tyre percentage to oush stint a bit forward on what was predicted, flying back to uk tomorriw ill test hard mode with McLaren most likely
When it comes to Pit Crew Strategy if all you do is gym train then wont you loose a ton of attributes to how good your crew actually is in Wheel Gun etc? This is the one thing that i have still not figured out yet.
i struggled to reach the objectives in f1 manager 2022 in normal mode so i don't want invest thousand hours in a game in hard mode just to be fired at the end of the season without having a chance to deploy my long-term strategy. but because i play all the races in x1 time, i thought maybe the races could be doable in hard mode. but again, it's already hard to be p6 (in 2023's constructor championship) with a team who only worth p8.
Watch his development guides... focus on lowering weight to the max on every part while maxing out cornering. Make every part light as possible, Max all sliders on cornering Go minimum on drag reduction (its useless) Get maximum DRS effectiveness. Base all your parts around this logic and your car will be the strongest within 5 months into your first season. And dont speed anything up always use 1 engineer unless the design is ready 1 - 3 days after the race. Watch this guys development guides they are very good. But it makes the game too easy and then you need hard on both.
thanks but i want to succes using my own organization, maybe f1 2023 is less unfair than f1 manager 2022 ? i just don't want to play thousand hours to figure it.@@hebisty4163
Honestly, I stand by my comment. Haas seems the hardest team to do. Yeah, you have a better car but no facilities no drivers it just seems like such a harder situation going into the season maybe it’s just me but yes, Alfa is a hard start but to keep haas goin is harder imo It’s probably just me🤣🤣
Perseverance is the key. I made Haas world champions at the end of season 3 with Ocon (champion) and Albon. Unfortunately Hulk wasn’t around to see it but he did get his podium/win in season 2 before he retired
Hey bro, been putting alot of hours in. Are you able to push so hard becasue of the low, med, and high speed changes you made. As in my alpha car they degrade too much. watched every video and subbed great content :)
Degration comes from tyre heat mainly while some tracks have higher degradation than others, Jeddah is one example. Tyre heat is generally gained by pushing and by running behind other cars. If you are playing Alpha I assume you might be spending a decent amount of time behind other cars. If your brake cooling is low that will also affect tyre heat. In terms of degradation these are the factors you can somewhat control - Drivers Smoothness (Higher smoothness means less degradtion of the tyre) - Brake cooling - Dirty air cornering (to make overtakes easier so you don't follow all the time). Aslong as you don't push the tyre heat above the "overheat", the maximum heat number for said tyre you will usually be fine, even if it means needing to run aggressive for a bit. Sometime the tracks will also be extra hot and you might be forced to run aggresive as a result.
They changed it in the latest patch that higher temps have more degradation now. You can for the most part ignore the temps as long as you don't go over the tyres maximum.
Hulk 79 rating.....he and verstappen are literally the best drivers in this f1 season....its impressive how often he reached q3 with such a bad car....completely destroying KMAG
The best? Hulk should probably be a 82-83 at best but nothing higher . He’s very adaptable, rarely crashes but his overtaking and defending ability leave much to be desired. Definitely has good pace and should be on a better team next year but won’t because of his age
I my save Hulk was the worst on the grid. All he's crasches cost me over 50mill over 5 races. So had to fire him after 1 season, where hes stats allso droppede.
Thank you! Been relaxing for the last couple of days, was just towards the end of recording this my head did a number on me. I am feeling much better. As you said earlier the game is now on gamepass if you have that :)
Not really, the AI is now pushing aggresively in races and it is definitively harder than standard. Could always wish for more/harder difficulties but this is a good first step.
Running on red only increases rate of ware so as long as this rate is factored into the strategy it isn’t wrong. However I drop to aggressive every few laps to stop potential lock ups
I just find the tire trade off very bad, Orange is fine, it limits risk as well, I mean there is one maybe 2 super low wearing tracks where Red might be possible or you might want to start a set of softs on Red to get a lead then move to a 2 stop on hards and mediums etc, but as far as I know there isn't really any track you can run full Red on all 3 sets and it will improve your race chances. @@dant5690
you have to push it in order to compete in hard mode sadly.. if you dont and you lose track positions and your drivers confidence go down and you end up in a shitty position.@@dant5690

just found this channel, very nice! i learned alot about the game. Thanks alot :)
Your video has made me realise something. I'm shit at this game.
😂 take notes then
U just learned me so much man. thank u very much!
A great name for this series would be the Hard & FHaast
When u said if russel get a lock up. HE ACTUALLY GETS A LOCK UP BUT U DIDINT SE IT

I dunno Alfa is pretty hard, but Bottas might make the difference
I tried hard mode for Alfa Romero and got fired my first year. Not sure if it's balanced quite well but maybe that is the point.
Well I am looking forward to trying more hardmode myself, but I am enjoying it so far. Might have to test out AR again sometime.
nero um struglling to find a pit stop training to improve my team boxes pit time
I am the same honestly. Seems the best solution is just to get the best pit boss and manage your pit crew after every race.
Hard mode is fun but crash heavy. Since everyone pushes more. Need another update

Please do a speederun with ferrari in one Season
Will the next part be uploaded soon?
Later today, have unfortunately had some busy days.
Hey bro, been putting alot of hours in. Are you able to push so hard becasue of the low, med, and high speed changes you made. As in my alpha car they degrade too much. watched every video and subbed great content :)
P.S This is an open question to anyone!
Degration comes from tyre heat mainly while some tracks have higher degradation than others, Jeddah is one example.

So I am seeing that I can basically ignore tire temps?
They changed it in the latest patch that higher temps have more degradation now. You can for the most part ignore the temps as long as you don't go over the tyres maximum.
Can you do Design or Research with zero Wind Tunnel &CFD hours??
Yes.
Can anyone explain why Nico starts out worse than Kevin?
Hulk 79 rating.....he and verstappen are literally the best drivers in this f1 season....its impressive how often he reached q3 with such a bad car....completely destroying KMAG

Awesome
I have not bought the game this year as it's not worth the money
But this should be a great series
Brother if you are sick please don't think you have top pump out videos. Take a break and look after yourself
Thank you! Been relaxing for the last couple of days, was just towards the end of recording this my head did a number on me. I am feeling much better.
As you said earlier the game is now on gamepass if you have that :)
Do a Mclaren run.
Come ooooon we want the next video of the series!
Due a challenge spedrun winning with red bull and bring the worst drivers in the game
So "hard' mode is bollocks?
Not really, the AI is now pushing aggresively in races and it is definitively harder than standard. Could always wish for more/harder difficulties but this is a good first step.
no way you can win this!
Please make Nico to win the title
That is the plan :)
