- After taking Williams to the title in one season I wanted to see if I could do it with all the lower rated teams, today we are going to be having a look at McLaren. If we manage it with McLaren I am thinking of trying this with Alpha Tauri and Alfa Romeo and if everything goes right give it a go on hardmode as well. Hope you enjoy!

So full attack with tyres in the red is OK? Also, I know this effects degradation but does it effect lap time? If so, how? Thx.
Yes it is fine aslong as you don't hit the maximum temperature of the tyre. You lose some performance from the tyres by running them in the red, but you gain far more than you lose by running attack. So even if the tyres are red if you run attack/aggresive that will more than make up for the loss so that you are faster than running them normally.

Do you care about what's the intensity you tell your drivers to run (1-Purple to 5-Red) in the FP sessions?
If you are doing them manually running purple would benefit you more. Same with running the engine on conserve aswell as avoid kerbs and drive in clean air.
Why you didn’t hire better technical and aerodynamic chiefs? How they better scores imply on development?
No need in this case, they would give you a boost yes, but might pe pretty expensive to pick up.

In my Alpine save, I scouted Jack Doohan, Victor Martins, Kush Maini, Nikola Tsolov, Gabriele Minì and Sophia Flörsch. Which one of these six are perfect for driver development?
Probably Doohan would be your best bet. Tsolov potentially. Basically for driver growth you want a young driver that already has decent stats.

Does it really help to run with overheating tyres?
Aslong as you don't hit the maximum heat level it is not a problem. You can check this on the tyre screen during the race.

Funny thing is that Sainz Drove for McLaren for like 2 years and got 3rd at brazil after getting knocked out in Q1. And his teammate was Lando, so it's a family reunion!
For my next season I’m transferring to Alphatauri and going to try specialized parts without sacrificing top speed and seeing if such an approach is viable.
Being slow on straights just icks me, if tho a cornering monster is the fastest way to start scoring points
I've started my first season with Piastri. He has too low attribute points. Upgrading racing sim like crazy, but before monza he is still eating tyres like crazy.
He’s such a poor driver, at Bahrain Norris got 12th for me and Piastri was 7seconds behind Bottas in 19th
@@E_X_I_T_Z That's literally what happened to me, recently I start a season with McLaren, and Norris is excellent, but Piastri always fighting with the Alfa's

Besides the fact that Norris got 7th, still improvement…
Also, in terms of car building…it could very well affect fatigue. Mine is down to 45/90 as I’ve focused on errors or time and I’m constantly fatigued with a sport director who has 98 processed and 92 training, it doesn’t make sense

Mark my words, if we get F1M 2024, he’ll be at least 82, possibly 83. There’s no way he can be lower than Bottas (who’s likely due to get nerfed this coming season).

It's kinda struggling to get into the game. Its good its just overwhelming as someone who dont have an idea on the F1 scene no familiarity with how stuff works lol.
i have 2 championships in 3 seasons with Ferrari..not bad at all..next stop Williams for sure,i don't know but this team has something special

As far as I know you can't do it on console, but there is a save editor someone made for pc.

I gambled on tires once and never again. I went from second to 7th within seconds right before the race ended.
Both my drivers got a puncture while in the points in Bahrain
my only weakness is mid season development
Ive got an interesting challenge for you, can you get RedBull last in F1 without manipulating the races (eg. you cant just retire both cars at the start of every GP, or run on the same set till both cars get punctures) Can you build a car that is just so bad that they go from first to last in 1 season?

I have, but with the limited time I have right now I have to put it on the list of potential future games as I am highly enjoying F1M, FM24 and Cities Skylines.
@@NeroBax That is good to hear. I thought you would’ve got bored of FM24. It’s a stressful game and takes a lot of time and patience to play. I prefer watching it than playing.
How is he spending Full ART time on two parts on the same day? I just can do one part per day or what do I miss? Sry I’m fresh to this game.
I was wrong, not atr I mean the development of parts. How are you not losing the windcanal hours and you can max out on more party at one? I need to wait 10 days to get new development time.
Not completely sure what you mean, but in terms of wind tunnel time I will often check gains but not start the part, I only ever do full wind tunnel/CFD on one part at a time so, in this case I am guessing the next period started immediately after.
When you do more than one season - do you struggle with your car at the beginning? Feels like I'm back to where I started season 1 first few races
I only managed 5th in constructors end of 23. But start of 24 my car is like again the last on the grid. 18th and 20th in quali. Like all the effort I put in the last year didn't count at all. BS if you ask me. 1st try I needed like 3 season to win the championship. Wanted to try from scratch and came up pretty much the same although I designed and researched left and right.
@@matejpavlic4040 Research is super important for carryover, AI spends around 35-45mill on research by end of season depending on the team.

Depends on the track, but in most cases yeah.
