Gorgeous and yet, BADAZZ Cuddy! GREAT run through and explanation of everything too. So, would you mind sharing how much (or approximate) you got that finished LOW LOW for?......(providing the typical maintenance issues that needed addressed etc)...Just curious, man... Cuz yeah! That's really about the best way to get one is buying one already mostly done, vs. redoing one from whatever condition....I have a restored black 55 Chevy on AIR RIDE mixed with abuncha hydraulic parts (for speedy recovery) that is kinda like THIS one (at time of video anyways) .... STILL rollin along just fine but PUKING oil OUT of the rear seal like AINT NO ones biz ness Lol 😆 Again, I have always loved that era (mid latter 80s front nose) Cuddy the BEST! Take care of er man, you'll have a blast 😎. 🤘🔥🤘
I ended up getting it for $8500 at the time, drove 8 hours away with a trailer to pick it up. The previous owner said he didn’t have any tools or knowledge on how to work on it, no garage either so it was sitting outside. The deal popped up and I jumped on it!
@@CGOD I'd say so!....And leastways, with the NOW? It sounds/looks like it HAS found a proper home with "someone who CAN work on it and ROLL THAT BEAUTY DOWWWWNNNN El Barrio, HOLMES!..... Again, LOVE it! 😎🤘🔥🤘
@@jamescon55 oh yeah, I actually traded it off awhile ago. The new owner rebuilt the engine and put a high lock up on the rear, I got a caprice now. You can check it out by going through my channel
Nice thorough run down. Yeah, just go through it all and you’ll be good. I might have to build me something now that cruising here in California is sorta legal now. I miss hittin switches.
Clean😮. I wanna go bags on mine, much more lighter and easier maintenance than hydro setup. I had a 83 Monte with juice a long time ago and it was a pain in the ass keeping the maintenance up and also hated the battery weight, my fuel consumption was horrible.
Aside from some tlc to the car in general, those pumps need to be taken apart completely and cleaned all the way, fittings need new Teflon. Fill holes should be hand tightened and no Teflon should be added to those as it relieves pressure when the oil gets hot. All the cables need to be thrown away and replaced, crimped correctly and all new solenoids, this should be mandatory for all builds that look this old especially with that much power, that’s very much a fire hazard as is.
Yeah man she needed a good bit of work, I ended up getting another car. Caprice with a 2 pump, 8 battery setup, also needs a little work but that’s just how it goes with these cars
That's clean finally a lowrider use Teflon tape on the valves take them all off and put new Teflon tape that's why there leaking homie happened to me on my front pump also with 4 switches you can also do side to side just lock up the front and rear drop a rear corner and tap the front switch slowly at a time also test all your batteries if you have batteries that are not holding charge take them off remember one bad battery makes all your batteries weak and kills them and can mess up your setup also never let your batteries go to low if you hit switches on really dead batteries your going to mess up your silanoids all the time they'll burn out and have to replace them each silanoid is 24 volts so one is for 2 batteries so if you have 3 to ea pump that's 60 volts for 6 batteries bro.also make sure you have a proper ground in order to get full power on your hydraulics and replace your front switch looks like it's no good shouldn't be going side to side it's going to get stuck and your cars going to lift by itself and it's going to overlook and the cylinders in front are going to fly out happened to me .
I just finished charging all the batteries, swapped out the front switch. It’s super snappy now and can sit 3 wheel now. Still gotta go through and fix the leaks but yeah I’ve got teflon. Everything is working great now, I’ll edit up the video and get it posted soon!
The rear is gonna be slower going up because of the weight that's being lifted , My Regal was the same way , 10 batteries at about 65 -75 lbs each + 4 pumps = around 1000 lbs in the back , that's alot of weight ! G bodies are front heavy unlike a 64 Impala so it takes alot of ballast or using two pumps on the rear to do a power 3 Wheel , Cutlass is 💯

I enjoyed running air on my old Lincoln, rather leak air than oil lol but also rode great. Daily driven without issues and slammed on the floor!
@@CGOD nice, I don't know yet but I think I'm gonna go with bags on my 88 S10 4.3. 👍✨.
How much you get for the caddy? That car was clean!!
I sold it for $9k and got the cutlass for $8500

@@CGOD can't wait for the new banger to drop bro hope to see it in action In the next video
That alternator needs a bigger wire to the battery not enough current flowing
I use to see it when it was all white in chandler Arizona
Possibly, I got it out of Oklahoma already painted
It's to hot not to have a\c! Lol nice ride
It’s definitely a good weather cruiser haha maybe late evening type stuff. I’m down to sweat and hit switches tho!

Batteries were low on charge, the rear gets up no problem now! It’ll stand 3 just by going up on a single rear cylinder
@@CGOD That's good , hydraulics are king , have fun 3 wheeling Cutty
Car looks nice.
Thanks bro!
As you can see!
I see I see 😂
Are you selling it.
It’s been gone

Not for sale at the moment. But $12k would change my mind
