heath did an amazing job acting, but in terms of writing he felt more like the riddler, he left clues, he wasn’t random, he had many speeches, he explained himself, and he always left the joker card everywhere. The joker is supposed to be so smart that everything seems random, he is supposed to be impossible to follow, that is why he is such a good villain for Batman because he puts him in challenges that he has to solve, not leave behind easily traceable riddles.

What makes Ledger's version so special for me is that at no point when he is on screen did it feel like an actor playing a role. You completely forget Heath Ledger is under there and get mesmerised by the performance. I'd have Gotham's twins at #2 because not only where the characters fantastic, Cameron essentially played three different version of the same character. Shit, he switched from Jerome to Jeremiah mid-scene during the attempt on Gordon's life.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League scene of the Joker really showed that Leto had potential as Joker. Plus he actually had a good design instead of having those terrible face tattoos

I don't really have a rating for all the rest, as I feel they play adaptations of the Joker, but Jared Leto is probably at the bottom still.
Also, seemingly not mentioned on any list, the Joker from the 2004 TV show was great, he could not only keep up with Batman intelligence wise, but also in a fight, made it a much better arch-enemy dynamic

The Lego selection destroyed your credibility in this one imo. 1&2 - Leger and Phenix honestly flip a coin. Phenix carries an entire film on his back, so it's extremely difficult to say. Nicholson is the CLEAR CUT #3 and it's not even close with Hammel at #4. None of this would be possible without Romero, so he makes the top 5, but mix whoever you want after that.
For your information the reason why they paint it over Romero's mustache was because he refused to shave it off. He believed that without his mustache his career would not have been successful as it was It was like the source of his power or something.

I loved arthur fleck. His acting was great and very much non-cringy infact the whole 2019 joker film was perfect in my opinion I would just give it a 10/10 or 11/10.

Depressing is not a word that should describe the joker. Joker was a good movie but tbh he was not the joker of the comics
The Gotham Joker may not be the best, but his acting definitely deserves to be somewhere in top 3.
Even if we almost haven't seen anything from The Batman's Joker I already love that one
I'm partial to old jokers (except Ledger of course), but Gotham's Joker was put together very well and Cam seemed to enjoy it. I think Joaquin played his role to a tee and showed us a joker we've never seen, which is very difficult. My list goes:
