Really what it is about is a thrill for the officer he gets off on hurting people

Dude was on his knees with his hands up. How is that a threat or fleeing? Those jurors need to disclose how much they were paid by the city.

He ran until he stuck in a dead-end. Guaranteed "the victim" has priors.

SLCPD has paid out $40 million in 5 years to cover the criminal actions of their officers. My Father in law is the late Captain Duncan and he lost respect for this department years ago.

Not ok! This officer and his superiors who condone his actions need to be retrained or terminated.

"The safest way" absolutely not, especially when they are already submissive. You have de-escalation, you have tasers. The safest way is to put the dog in danger?

What kind of coward sends his "best friend" into harm's way?

So I guess a taser was not even an option here. Inflicting serious bite wounds on a suspect is apparently of no concern for police doing God's work. Nor are the medical bills incurred from this trauma.
