    I've really enjoyed the "z belt clip upper" on printables, as well as the "printable snap latches" and "sturdy handles" off of voron mods repo.
    I'm also about to try some "magnetic door hinge" variants, but no guarantee of quality there.
    good job on the build!

      It amazes me how many mods are on the Voron’s I mean the printer is just one big mod! Lol I’ve got the z clips on my first 2.4 this one I cut the bets and then went oh no damn user manual ;) I haven’t checked out the snap on latches yet but now that’s on my list aswell as too much it seems. I was tempted to try the magnetic panels but my cat is something else xD. Glad you enjoyed the build thanks for the input on the build. More videos will be on the way soon hopefully not another voron build anytime soon haha. Have a great evening!

    Cool build and nice coverage of the process. I just want to note that the values provided by the input shaper are basically the resonant frequencies of the printer. The value really has no impact on your prints, nor the speed, as long as you set it up properly.

    • @3dsprinter
      @3dsprinter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The way I worded it wasn’t the best I will say. Sometime here soon I’ll have to make a video more in depth about input shaper. Yes it doesn’t have anything to do with speed just minimizes ghosting at high acceleration also turns the printer into an airplane during those test ;) Thanks for the feedback I’ll be sure to clarify that in the future!

    Gorgeous build. Love that colour scheme on the afterburner. I never figured out how to do a bed mesh that shows the taco so a guide on that would be cool. Still need to assemble the ABS parts -_-

    i been wanting to build a new printer for the last 5 or so years. my original one is pretty outdated but it has some updates like control board, and nozzle that make it better than when i bought it.

    Question:
    Given, the LDO kit is twice the price of a Formbot kit, is the advertised "precision" and "attention to detail" offered by the LDO kit significant enough to justify the additional cost, OR is the affordability of the Formbot a better value proposition because of mods across all possible outcomes?

    • @shanemshort

      imo, the formbot kit is *plenty* good.

    recently started my 3dp journey and I'm learning fast!... my question is would you advise I begin to learn and understand cad before undertaking a project like this?

    • @3dsprinter
      @3dsprinter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would definitely do that! In reality you don’t need those skills to build one but it can help if you need a specialized wiring mount or whatever it may be. More importantly the voron prints faster than I can produce cad files half the time. If your wanting to start a business or design things I definitely would. Improving your cad skills will make you understand the main concepts which is important, this can also help learning how to optimize CAD parts for 3d printing. Hope this helps:) Welcome to the hobby where anything is possible!

    • @3dsprinter
      @3dsprinter  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have several, so many brands out there but I’ve been using one from deepfriedhero.in has a good smooth pei side, textured side very nice too very high “sand count” i guess would be the best terminology. Gives off more of a matte textured look than a shiny texture. So far it’s been the best pei sheet I’ve received that’s if I keep my sweaty hot finger tips off it 😂

    What printer would you recommend for a beginner?

    • @3dsprinter
      @3dsprinter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      With how great the community is getting i would say start with researching ender 3, Elegoo Neptune. They are great starting points the more you speed the more your going to get out of your printer, but learning the basics first on a lower priced printer will give you the most out of learning the ways to solve certain issues.

    honestly, I don't think the vorons are great for performance, They prioritise aesthetics too much. The Vzbot and Annex K3 are a lot better

    • @3dsprinter
      @3dsprinter  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I agree with you on that one, The looks may be high on the appeal scale but certain things are just a pain to deal with! Personally haven't looked too much into the Vzbot and Annex seems like these printers are a time machines building them xD. Who knows maybe a future video will be VzBot destroys V2.4 lol
