My honest advice to singles looking for their spouse
Adam knew his Master and his mission and met his mate.
1. You are ready to date when you don’t need to. (Genesis 1v11, 20, 26)
2. You are ready to date when you have found your mission. (Genesis 2v15; Colossians 3v23)
Career vs. Calling:
A career is decided; a calling is discovered.
A career is natural; a calling is supernatural.
A career can change; a calling does not.
A career is for money; a calling is for eternity.
No money = no honey!
3. You are ready to date when you’re ready for marriage. (Genesis 2v21)

God is working when you’re waiting.
4. You will either wait for God to bring the right person or wait for God to change the person you found due to impatience. (Matthew 4v4; Psalm 105v19)
5. Don’t compare your story with someone’s success. (Hebrews 12v1, 2)
God is writing your love story; don’t steal His pen.
Don’t compete. Be content. Be complete.
6. While waiting, seek the well-not the wilderness.
Rebekah and Isaac (Genesis 24): Abraham's servant met Rebekah at a well.
Rachel and Jacob (Genesis 29): Jacob met Rachel at a well.
Moses and Zipporah (Exodus 2): They met at a well.
Being at the 'right well' means placing oneself in healthy, God-honoring environments where one can meet a spouse who shares their values and faith. At the right well, there is spiritual alignment and divine providence that occurs.
