    I've been watching the On1 sneak peek videos, and I think this video has me more excited for the update than anything I've seen so far.

    Great video Jim and the final result was beautiful. Brilliance AI looks to be a great tool.

    I'm totally new to ON1. Does it have a dedicated HSL for color?

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Theo and yes try Color Adjustment or Color Enhancer on the Effects tab. Thanks.

    • @fenraven
      @fenraven ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JimNix Thanks. Still finding my way around and didn't even see that. :) Color, to me, is basic processing and doesn't belong in Effects. Heh.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fenraven yep makes sense. On1 is really solid and once you get used to it you can really have an impact on your images.

    Jim I love your style of teaching! I would love to see a video on how to replace a background behind like a flower photo using on1 2024.

    I was hoping to see a comparison video between Luminar Neo's Advance AI and On1 Raw's Brilliance AI today before the release this Thursday. Otherwise, there won't be any need to see the comparison because I'll be able to compare it myself when it comes out.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Stacy and yes I am planning to do a video like that but won't have it done before Thursday. There are some things around file handling that I am trying to fully investigate before I make a video like that.

    One thing is that the supposed speed increases may reflect a lot of software optimizations for the for the newest hardware. My suspicion is that the older you computer hardware, the less of a bump in performance you'll see, perhaps even performance regression.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question, and I am not sure. I have an Intel-based Mac from 2019 and it feels faster to me. I am sure anyone with the newer Apple processors will be happy. Not sure about PC stuff tho since I am not up to speed on current hardware but obviously they have powerful machines these days too.

    • @leonfisher
      @leonfisher ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hope that is not the case. My machine is on the raged edge of running PR23.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leonfisher yeah I am not sure, will have to see how it goes but like I said above, it feels faster to me so far

    • @leonfisher

      On1 gives you plenty of capability so that is understandable.

    Those filter effects seem too much like black boxes. How many manhours do you have to spend randomly trying them to understand what they're doing.

    • @JimNix
      @JimNix  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      haha there are a lot of them but it's not too hard to get your arms around, but yes it takes a little experimentation for sure - or just watch some videos 😀
