Thanks for your review. I am disabled and cannot use glass because I drop everything. I couldn’t locate the bags reviewed by someone in the US. So I am glad that I found your channel. My assistant and I are going to do some batch cooking to help with my diet. If I buy your book, how easy is it to make 4-6 portions of a recipe? Being single I don’t need really large amounts. Thanks in advance for any guidance that you can provide.
I had bought plastic deli containers for freezing leftovers. I only use freezer bags for repackaging and freezing raw meat and corn on the cob. I would like to have a reusable alternative to all the bags I use. I am concerned about getting the air out of these thicker bags and having freezer burn.
I would really recommend PEVA bags or compostable bags, both work great and I have had no issues with freezer burn using either of those bags. here is the link to my shop with all of the bags there thebatchlady.com/product-category/freezer-bags/. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the great informative video's I'm in a slightly different situation to yourself being divorced and living on my own, but already I've saved a lot of money and am still learning from your channel, all I do is use smaller bags/containers and divide the recipe amounts, etc, Shocks me how much food I used to bin , just a question what do think of the vacuum freezer bags that are been advertised?, please keep up the great work it's much appreciated.
This was So Helpful! Absolutely perfect, and now I finally feel confident enough to invest in some reusable bags to do my bit for the environment, thank you!!!! :)
Does the chalk marker stay on when you freeze the silicone bags? I'm hoping I can use these for frozen meat and veggies but I like to put the date I put them in the freezer
Yes! You’ve redeemed yourself 😆 I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy chalk pens 🤣🤣 Now I say redeemed yourself because I attempted the 10 chicken meals in an hour 😤😳🤯 lol. I managed to do the enchiladas, brides chicken and the balti and ran out of steam to do the other 2. I’m not the most focused person you’ll ever meet so I’m kinda blown away that I managed what I did. Had all, yes all the enchiladas tonight, were big eaters and I had no salad in the house, don’t know if I’d do it again I wasn’t a fan but the twins and husband enjoyed theirs so maybe that can actually be my in the freezer ready meal for them when I want seafood 🦞
Thank You Suzanne 💕 I can see how much planning and effort has gone into creating this Vlog 👏🏼 Your hard work is very much appreciated 😘 x
Ditto Thank you Batch Lady!
Thanks for all the hard work, makes my life easier haha. Great reviews for all of the bags xx

I have found ESCECO freezer bags as the best but these are only available for now on amazon Uk
Thank you so much for going through the trouble to put them through the various tests! So helpful! x x x
You are so welcome!
Great thorough review. Thank you!
Since you can't use hot water on peva material bags would peva/silicone be a better investment for lunches? How would you sanitize a peva bag?

Oh I forgot to ask, where did you get the bag stand?
bag stands are available on the shop on my website x
Thanks, that's so helpful.😀
Probably not the thing to recommend these days but I spray hairspray on sharpie and it wipes straight off. Wash it after though 🤣
Plain rubbing alcohol- 70 or 90% - will do the same w/ out any of the downside!
Thanks so much for this x
Everyone was unavailable so will have to keep looking.
It's ok I missed last posting x
How do you dry a lot of bags?
