    Had mine since 2020 paid $250.00 back then it the one above but I added two lights ,backup charger, memory form mat, tent pegs, and pillow small ,and blanket, radio, but seriously worth what I pay for ,great fun with it,I waterproof it so it doesn't sweat inside

    Good video. For ventilation, roll the tent doors up, before you put the fly on. On the lee side of the wind, I also leave the fly zip open. I found it's a humid/condensation night, if you leave it all zipped up.

    Good video. Just the essential info and no fluff. I'm looking to buy this tent cot and it looks easier to setup than a ground tent

    Excellent video and I love mine. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Highly recommend one.

    There is no way to use this as a cot only…unless you want to lay on top of the tent material…because it is connected to all sides! I’ve used mine regularly since March 2020 and absolutely love it!

    Hey, Jimbo. I'm having a hard time understanding, after viewing several videos and asking questions on Amazon; is there a bar or tube in the middle of the sleeping surface, running from side to side? It seems like you're lying on a metal bar. Please advise. Thanks.

      I’m under the impression that the 2-person double cot version has a bar in the middle that runs length wise. This version is just an extra wide single cot. I’m really tempted to buy one but I’m having a hard time deciding which one. I don’t want the narrow original version.

      Nope, there's no bar. That would be awful, lol.

    I have a different model, same size and manufacturer. It's a a lot harder to set up, especially for one.

      Which model do you have? I'm struggling to choose one. This one on the video is easier to setup than yours?

    umm you forgot to clip the bottom support clips so when you lay down inside the cot legs don't collapse on you

    Can anybody tell me how good they are with condensation, sunny days, in the snow, do zippers hold up, are they tippy, when you lay in it does it put alot of tension on the tent? I'm looking to get one for hunting/fishing so I want something comfortable in most situations and packs quick. Thank you

    • @danwilliams1920
      @danwilliams1920 ปีที่แล้ว

      Condensation is the same as with any other nylon tent - just gotta keep a little ventilation going. Snow? I wouldn't. But I wouldn't snow-camp in any tent, myself. Rain? I waterproofed the hell out of mine, and it's good on the rain. In nice weather, it's awesome, of course. Tippy? Not at all. Stable as a rock.

      Zippers and mesh are good quality and mine is old. I got it secondhand to start with. I've recoated the water repellant, is the only maintenance.

    Too hot in there once the nights get above 70degrees F. Too much interior condensation if the nighttime temps are below 60 degrees F (all this, without the suffocating "rain fly"). Windows/doors are poorly designed, and in my opinion, designed backwards. So don't buy this unless you have a death wish.

      It has the same rules as any one person, nylon tent. You need to ventilate. For ventilation, roll the tent doors up, before you put the fly on. On the lee side of the wind, I also leave the fly zip open. I found it's a humid/condensation night, if you leave it zipped up.

      @@jackwaau I can't imagine the cook oven that results even without the rainfly with all doors rolled up in temperatures at or above 70 degrees and above 50% humidity (an often occurrence in summertime, mid northern plains states of the US.. not to mention other places south).
      Yup, the tent-cot simply has an extremely NARROW slot of usefulness in most weather conditions. And in some weather conditions, the internal accumulation of humidity could be extremely dangerous.
