I had to laugh, you stayed in EXACTLY the same room I did on my last stay in July, and yes the aircon is noisy in that room! 100% agree with your conclusions on the hotel, this is my goto hotel for the combination of location and value. Nice and quiet, but yards away from the madness.
page 10 is a nice budget hotel and the location is prime, easy to get to all the night life spots and it’s great there’s a bar complex right next to it…unless you’re trying to sleep…good to see ya back out there
Great to see you back in Pattaya. Really nice hotel and a prime location. Soi 10 has some fantastic affordable hotels. I was staying in the Acqua Hotel on my latest trip - recommended also. Hope you enjoyed those bedroom facilities to their maximum potential!!
Great Review on the Page 10 Hotel and fantastic location that's defiantly on my list and it's great to see your vlogs again in Pattaya. And I hope that you enjoy the rest of your trip ..
I am staying in two places in Pattaya this time around; first near Walking Street and next somewhere further north. I have only visited Pattaya once before, so I am a bit unsure what is best. Page 10 seems to be in a very good location. Looking at the map, my impression is that it's quite easy to walk to all kinds of nightlife, like Tree Town, Myth Night, Soi Buakhao, LK Metro and even Soi 7. Is this impression correct? My other option is something even closer to LK Metro, like 247 Boutique Hotel for example, but that seems to be a bit further from Soi 7, which I also want to explore. What do you think?
Your impression is correct. Easy to get to everywhere from page 10. Anywhere central is easy to get to soi 7. From lk metro just walk up soi Diana and get the bahtbus down 2nd road, or get the bahtbus along buakhao and get off just after marquee bar and walk up soi née plaza.
I check in to Page 10 on 28th January, 1 week, booked on Agoda, charged me £228 for the week so around 9,700TBH, that’s without breakfast. Thanks for the review, confirms I made a decent choice mafriend 👍
Welcome back bestie 'how long are you in paddy for. Missed all the old school bloggers like your self. Geoff carter's Kevin in Thailand r.i.p. ps are you still on the nuclear Fanta. All the best best. Enjoy yourself your only young once.
I really enjoyed my stay there, had 2 lady's round and one of them emptied my mini bar into there bag while the other one was entertaining me on the bed 🤣
Good review, only thing I would add is the next level room is the way to go, a much bigger open shower and I would say the location is brilliant. 😀 Oh, and have they fixed that toaster yet? Only one side was working when. I was there 😱
Most of the free breakfasts are underwhelming, that's why they are free. I'm now in the baraquda, which is clinging on to it's 5 star rating and the breakfast is slam bang awful.
Good to see you back at it. Moving into an overpriced hotel you must’ve found a gold digger on this trip already😊. Great to see you back enjoy yourself. I am hoping to make it there sometime this winter.
There's plenty wrong with the new hotel, and it's also very expensive. It's absolutely rammed though, so it can't be overpriced if they are selling it out. In fact, the current price is about double what I paid, so as expensive and problematic as it is (due to overselling it), it's probably underpriced.
@@BigFatBesty I’ve always myself felt guilty staying in overpriced hotels. I have usually done it if it is close to the airport and I have an early flight. Hey usually mid priced hotels are good for me especially if they give you a discount for staying 5 days or more. But hey I guess it all depends if you are solo or not.
I hear you. Page 10 certainly ticks a lot of boxes for the mid priced options. I just thought I'd splurge for a few days this time. As you'll see in the upcoming review, I doubt I'll do it again.
The beds are this hotel were harder then i thought theey were. and i stayed in the nicer rooms...price is worth if its below 35 USD a night..way better hotels in pattaya
I booked with this hotel for a week next month through Agoda.. Booked 4 months in advance to secure and good price and they cancelled my booking 3 weeks before I'm due to come out with no explanation.! Fuming.! Left me with no hotel and inflated prices as it's now last minute.. I suspect that they didn't want to honour the price I paid.. I wouldn't book again due to this.
Hi Besty. I am flying out to Thailand in 5 days time, tell me please, which airline did you use and did you have to wear a face mask on board and when you arrived at Savarnabhumi airport? That would be helpful for us Mongers! Cheers, Bill. 👍🇬🇧
Bill, I've just filmed a video on that very subject today. It will be up in a couple of days, but to answer your questions I flew EVA. They did require a face mask for boarding but didn't enforce it during the flight. But they wouldn't let you board without one. At Suvarnabhumi, no extra requirements. There were announcements asking people to wear them but this wasn't enforced. 45 day stamp, no tm6 form to fill in. Line was very long at immigration 3, but I just kept walking to immigration 1 where it took 10 minutes to get through to baggage reclaim.
Good to see you back big man 👍🏻 I’m flying out in early April can’t wait. I’ve been to Thailand so many times over the years but never been to Pattaya so watching this video helps me get my bearings a little bit if that makes sense I like to know where I’m going and where I am and be able to work out how to get back to my hotel when I’ve had a few too many ha ha we’ve all been there 😉. Can I ask do you know what you have to do at the airport for unvaccinated passengers? Does everyone still have to do a test before travelling? I’ve not been near an airport for nearly 4 years
No test required for vaxxed or unvaxxed as of October 1st 2022 to get in to Thailand. However, do check with your airline to see if they have any rules. I flew with EVA and they didn't require any certificates or any PCR or lateral flow tests, but did require a facemask for the flight.
A fair review. My preferred hotel in Pattaya for the location, the pool and value for money. As mentioned previously the Grand Deluxe room is preferable as it's more spacious with the wardrobe in the room rather than the bathroom, a larger balcony with a table and chairs and much bigger bathroom. My main criticism would be the breakfast offering however there are plenty of other better options nearby notably Hemmingways and Kungs. I had no issues booking through Agoda when I stayed in May and more recently earlier this month and have already booked again for next year. They required a refundable security deposit of THB 1,000 on my last visit which wasn't asked for in May? It's a base and somewhere to sleep as I don't visit Pattaya to sit in my hotel room!
Do a review of Space. Bunch of people have covered it but everyone is too much of a Cheap Charlie to stay there even though they remind their audience consistently to not be cheap.
Good honest review , I'd agree with . Stayed once but never went back , good location . LB's at reception weren't very helpful , full of there all importance 🤣
@@BigFatBesty That voice over just reminded me of the Fat American with the granny girlfriend I just tuned out. Sorry Bestie. Hope you had a blast in Pattaya.
I'm having a very bizarre time at the space hotel. I'll film the vlog tomorrow and I think I will have to split it into two parts. It's not a V.O. (voice over not vlog off!, There's always a vlog off!). It's live commentary as I'm filming it rather than added on later. I was supposed to do a V.O. on half a vlog I filmed on the last trip at the hard rock but I failed, so they are all live commentary.
Really don’t get your way of how Pattaya is pronounced pat i ya?? Also when you use the word falang?? And not foreigner fair enough if you are from Thailand or the very least you speak the language mate come on love your blogs but please

One of the best hotels in pattaya. Also soi 10 nice and quiet but close to everything you cannot go wrong

Thanks blud. Wish it was for longer!
I like your presentation and delivery. Good vid and hotel looks fine, too.
You're back! Thank God, I'm in need of living through someone else's vacation right now.

Was there back in 2011, it was a great place.
Next on to Sapace hotel for you?
I'd hate to think what that coffee table was used for to get that suspicious stain...
great to see you back.. will be dropping by next Monday to see you In Soi 7 as the DJ Master

No eggs for breakfast??
Yayy Besty's back !
A good honest review Wow, Page 10 is a perfect location.
Great vlog very informative
Do you book '1 person' for your stay ??
Always book for 2 people. It doesn't cost anymore and if long time hangs around she can have breakfast.

What year was this filmed I’m sure you said 2002 is that correct
Yep. October 2022.
Is there breakfast include and how much per night
Both of these are answered in the video.
And heeeeee's back ! Hello friend ! 😄
Good vlog bestie good to see back again r u in Pattaya Xmas time ?
Sadly not. Just a quick trip this time. I have lots of boxing shows in the run up to Xmas.

Page 10 or Blackwood hotel ?
They are very similar. Black Woods is much newer and shinier with page 10 showing its age a bit. Page 10 is a bit cheaper and I prefer It's location.
