Thanks for explaining how the compressor works. This is the first compressor that I changed. That did not have a standard clutch and coil on the pulley. Hadn't known they made swash plate ac compressors before.

My 2014 Corolla A/C isn't blowing cold air. Going to have to bring it to the mechanic and suspect a likely compressor exchange as well. Not looking forward to the bill as I know it can be $1000. Still the video was interesting.

My 2018 corolla is not blowing any air out of the AC but I turn it on and it turns on fine… it worked once today and when I got back in the car did not work again.. could this be a fuse or compressor?

If there's no air coming out at all, it's probably a blower motor or resistor or something

I thought it was necessary to change to change out the condenser since it's a parallel flow condenser and won't be able to flush it. Do you know if that's true?

No. You can flush it out. But you should replace the dryer, which is in the condenser.

If I added Freon and it only worked for 2 weeks, what could possible be the reason? Thanks!

Do you have to change the expansion valve?

My car recently got the compressor changed and we found out that the car starts shaking when we turn on the AC. It’s a 2020 Corolla se. Could it be an excess of Freon??

It could be, but I doubt it. It’s probably either too much oil in the compressor, a bad compressor, or the ecm is not getting the signal to idle up when a/c is requested.

Turn up your brightness 🤣 or get a new phone. It’s plenty bright enough.
