Own an r3 aswell. Super agile and comfortable power great for lane splits and cuts into traffic like butter. I redline it at least 5 times a day. Once you get comfortable with the bike it becomes a toy. Colour way is sexy btw I got the classic Yamaha blue!
I got the mt03 with the teal rims and they are gonna have you scrubbin everyday! 😂 Great bike, I rode both versions the r and the mt and other than the handlebars I just loved them both.
There was a guy that just bought the same color way from this dealership I was at the other day and I thought it was you haha. But this scenery doesn’t look like FL 😂
Ok I’m NGL the ninja 500 40th is beautiful… but for me it came down to the 1k price differnce and since it was my first bike I just went with the cheaper options ya feel? But definitely that bike is a great starter as well
How much did you pay in total after taxes etc? Im looking to buy one but im not trying to pay near 9k for one of these. Some people getting screwed over at dealers 😂

Is this a good beginner bike? I'm torn between this one, bmw 310r and the ktm duke 390
In my opinion it is very good for beginners! I’ve ridden an MT-03 and a CB-300 and this was a lot more fun but just as easy to ride!
Go with the Duke 390. Nothing against the R3, my girl has one. But the Duke is a battwr bike.
