SCAMMER ALERT: I have some scammers pretending to be me in the comments and asking people to message them on WhatsApp, this is not me and please do not message them! My course is now live any available for purchase but will ONLY be available on my official website Cassiyjohnson.com. Stay safe
You do the best videos with reviews on actual samples, and how to design fully filled and informative videos! Hope you don’t stop doing this anytime soon!!!!! Very inspiring
I think wash at least 5-7 times. Thank you for this video, I have a few of these made and plan to do more, but was a little concerned about placement. I love the back designs.
Ok, @Cassiy the Mind Reader. I was searching for how to do this 3 days ago and couldn't find anything this slick. Thanks so much for all your amazing content!!!
I've been binge watching a lot of your videos. Thank you so much for all your splendid content, your kindness, encouragement and inspiration! Much appreciated.
I’ve had many PODs printed by various outlets. I’d say they are good for at least 25 washes before significant fading. Perhaps the shirt material affects longevity but 6 washes should be very safe.
For a new shop, what is the fair profit percentage to shoot for when pricing after all is taken into consideration after expenses? and not having enough sales to get the discounted POD prices? I realize you have done pricing videos, but it does seem like there is also a lot more competition and the deceptive low-pricing scheme thing to get people to click into stores. Advice for a newbie?
Hello Cassy. Thank you so much for being a great help for beginners like myself. Your videos and advise is priceless and we can never thank you enough.
Thanks, Cassiy, for another great, helpful video. As I was waking up this morning, I got an idea for a shirt, and this technique will be PERFECT for it! Thanks!
Hi Cassie, def will make some of these! I think 5-10 washes is ideal. Thank you soooo much for the value you bring to this space, I truly appreciate you and your expertise!!! Keep them coming please!!!
Good tips, & nice video Cassiy. I'd say 10X wash. We ordered some samples when we first started in January. One of the tees is not wearing so great after 10 washes or so...
Love your videos and THANK YOU!!! For sharing your mock up store. I feel so many times people who make TH-cam videos, pretend they owned stores, but you actually own a store because you’re willing to share your store. I so appreciate that it makes me feel like you are definitely more transparent than the rest.❤❤❤❤
Hi Heather! I share my mockup store on my channel because the people watching my videos might actually want to purchase from me. I don't share my main t-shirt shop though as 1000's of people going to look at my shirt and then not buying would really hurt conversion rates. People also might consider stealing some of my ideas as well. So I totally understand why most creators don't share their shirt shops!
this video was full of information. thanks so much . Right now i am in the process of learning how to use canva to design prints. I am getting a bit frustrated but i am going to power on. I am going to your TH-cam channel to watch all of your videos on canva.
Very helpful...thanks for explaining processes versus just giving ideas where individuals have to figure it out. Simple and easy to follow, great examples. We appreciate it! 😀
Cassiy, I can't thank you enough. I have learned a lot from your videos... I just started the Etsy print-on-demand business last week. So far posted 10 t-shirts. Keep encouraging newbies. You are amazing.
Thank you for this video! New store and I've been wanting to try both back and pocket designs, and now this has demystified it. Off to make some now! Thanks! And please wash the shirts a minimum of 10 times. :)
Hey Cassiy this info is really good to know thank you, your vids are always so practical & helpful! Im new to Etsy & Printify, recently signed up on your links and was trying to figure something out if you will be kind enough to let me know, I am designing art prints that are 3 piece & 4 piece sets, so each order would have 4 separate prints, whats the logical way to set this up on printify and work out my cost ? And if theres any tips you can give me about doing it in this way it would be a massive help. Thank you so much 😊
Are you designing them to be digital downloads? Or POD onto canvas or posters? If Digital, you can just cut the original image file into the proper size sections and attach all 3 or 4 files to the listing. It's a little more complicated if you're looking for companies that do multi-canvas printing. Teelaunch has a good solution though.
Congratulations on your anniversary! Just have a question on how to price this item. Printify charges additional fee for the back design which make pricing significantly higher than the average price on etsy for front and back designed shirts.
Thank you for your videos. I have ordered several of my tees. I like the BC3001 the best for the softness as well as it's the lightest [I live in AZ so that's perfect for here.] I also have a couple of sweatshirts. I've washed them all at least 3x some already closer to 10x & they all still look awesome & are still super soft. Yeah!!
Oh man, this is so much easier than the way that I've been doing front and back mock-up photos! I learn something new every time I watch a video. Thank you!
Very helpful! And such cute samples! Love the mock up trick in Canva - definitely trying that this week! Sorry if I missed it but was that a heather mauve or mauve shirt?
Absolutely love your videos! Can you do a tutorial on 20oz tumblers? And doing the wrap for them? but in Canva as that is my only design software. Thanks so much Cassiy! I have learned so much from you
Hii cassiy thank youu for the video. Do we need to pay extra to print on both side of the clothes (front and back)? Thank youu, sorry for my bad english😊
Thanks so much for this video! Loved how to add the back mockup within a circle to a front mockup. It is very hard to find back of shirt mockups with a consistent look to the front mockup - please add some to your site! I have just recently started listing T-shirts on my Etsy shop and I love the front and back design. Working hard to get the momentum going and had my first T-shirt sale yesterday! I think 5-10 washes is a good reference.
Thanks always!! I am curious how much samples do you order? To have many listings, it's hard to order all of the samples. But do you have any recommendation on how to approach?
❤❤❤ love this video super inspiring and helpful, thank you so much for putting it together. I will give this a go. Congratulations on three years on Etsy. Maybe COVID was a win for you and many others, giving the time and opportunity to start and developing a business, which gave you so much so quickly. Thanks for sharing what you have learnt and thanks for modelling the products, it was very helpful. I will have to watch this again to check out exactly where you placed the back graphic. 😊⭐️
Cassiy thank you so much this was a great tutorial. As always great helpful content. I have been stricken w/the discourage bug and wondering if I should throw in the towel? 2 years and 125 sales, I need to fix that... I do have over 55 positive reviews, so that's good. Thanks again. I think 4 washes will suffice... ❤take care!
Can you tell me which video shows how to add the curly lines at the beginning and end of the new fonts like "Welcome" font? I saw it but can't find it now. lol
Quicj question about commercial use clipart or png on creative fabrica do we have to make alterations BEFORE we can use them? How do we use it is okay to use as is png images?
I'm trying a front and back design today. I am curious why you placed the images directly on the mock at 2048 x 1473 instead of creating a new design on a 4500 x 5100 canvas. The method in the video seems a whole lot faster since you're eliminating creating a new design. Thank you!
Hi Cassiy, I am just starting out with my Etsy POD business. Your videos have been so helpful thank you, I wondered if you had any advise for me, as I am in the UK, when I look on printify there are only a couple of printers in the UK to use, would you advise me to sell just to the UK and use the UK printers or do you think id be better off targetting the US and using printers you have reccomended like Monster Digital etc? If I do just the UK, do I have to use the UK printers? and If i sell to the US do I need to add extra shipping on etc or can I select the US Printers for US orders and the UK printers for the UK orders? those are the questions I have! thank you xxxx your advise will be so helpful
I really enjoyed your brilliant video. I am a newcomer to Etsy. I’m totally lost with a strategy. As a graphic designer, I can make fascinating designs for T-shirts. With regard to the fact that I am a novice in this platform and that no one seems to know my page, should I work only on T-shirts? Or can I put my designs on T-shirts, mugs, to name but a few. Can I focus on a theme like “family”, “nature”, “society” or something like that, and offer T-shirts, mugs etc, with that theme on my page? Thank you so much.
Thanks for the video! I appreciate all of the value you bring! I’ve ordered two of my designs from swiftpod that were printed on comfort colors brand shirts and both bled in the wash. They replaced them but now I’m worried that the ones I’ve sold will do the same. Printify said this doesn’t happen often, but the two test shirts I ordered did so I’m a little worried about how to avoid in the future. Any thoughts? Thank you!!
Thanks for another great tutorial. 5 to 10 washes would be a good reference to see how much the color fades and the effect on the print. Maybe do a side by side comparison of an unwashed shirt and the other with each wash? 😊
Anywhere from 3.5 - 5" for the front and the back just depends on how big you want it, I made these I think 14" wide for reference. I share it in the video right before the try on haul if you want go back and rewatch that part
Hi Cassiy, I've been following you for quite some time now, great content! Regarding the mockups, do you offer any of the front & back in your shop? I didn't see any, possibly the gilden 18000 & or the bella 3001? The ones in this video are great.
No so sorry I don't offer any of those just yet but I will be adding some soon! But you could buy some of my front mockups and someone else's back mockups and add them together like I show in this video even!
Hi Cassiy! Is the 3.5 x 4.25 pretty standard for all designs in that area, It looks so small on the printify mock up. Also would it be the same for sweatshirts? ( the front pocket area image) Thanks!!
Hi Cassiy, I was wondering if you ever had the issue of "Access Denied" when trying to reach etsy? I can view it fine on my other browser or even in incognito mode, but not on my normal default browser.

Hey so cool you ended up seeing your shout out in this video, thanks again for sharing! All the best
@@CassiyJohnson yup - one of your followers let me know :) Congrats on your successes btw!!

The first wash makes the biggest difference. In my opinion. Thanks for doing that. Cannot wait
The first wash is happening as I type this, I'll share the video in 2-3 weeks after depending on how many washes I can get through in the next week!
Awesome video Cassiy, love that you added the samples as pocket and back prints are tricky to figure out the best placement!
Thanks Angel
Thank you for ALL of your great videos, from a newbie!
So glad my videos have been helping!!
I think wash at least 5-7 times. Thank you for this video, I have a few of these made and plan to do more, but was a little concerned about placement. I love the back designs.

I love your samples videos!!! Saves me so much money! 😂
My favorite blouse. Oh and love the content in the video too!
LOL thanks David, it's my new favorite shirt!
Very informative. Thank you Cassiy!
I've been binge watching a lot of your videos. Thank you so much for all your splendid content, your kindness, encouragement and inspiration! Much appreciated.
Out of the ballpark AGAIN!! ❤ thank you!
Thank you for your nice comment!
I would love to see the rshirts washed 10 times, thank you for doing this!
I’ve had many PODs printed by various outlets. I’d say they are good for at least 25 washes before significant fading. Perhaps the shirt material affects longevity but 6 washes should be very safe.
Thank you! I always learn something when I watch your videos! PS- love your hair!
Thank you for this video! How would you price front and back items? Just an example? Thank you Cassiy!! 💖
I think 10 washes would be perfect! Thanks, Cassiy, you're a total rockstar!
Thanks so much for this video! I’ve wanted to do pocket designs but never felt confident with placement. This helps so much!!

Cassiy! Just signed up for your course! Love it so far!😍
Thank you for joining Karla, so glad I can help you grow your business
Oooh, this is great. I’m going to take my best selling items on my shop and make them front and back designs since I know the designs sell!
Great idea!!

I have it for sale! Haha. Not the same EXACT way, but similar.
LOL I've worn it twice since filming this video!! Feel free to download the design off of CF and make it for yourself
Awesome presentation as always great lesson

Thank you for another thorough video! Wanted to ask, do you offer free shipping in your Etsy shop?
Great video!🎉. Please do a 5 time wash/dry, that would be great!
thank you. your video save me lot of time
Do you line them up to the top for front placements too?
Love all your help
Just starting out. Not sure how to price them. What I want or use the competing price? Can you do a video on pricing and sales, temporary price drops.
Thank you girl… love your work ❤
Thank you Cassiy, I will definitely try this. I loved the little circle with the back of the shirt! Great tutorial as always!

It depends on the design, anywhere between 12-14 inches is where I try to keep my designs!
@cassiyjohnson
Are you able to use canva still for printfy ????
Yes you can! Here is a video I made sharing Canva's response th-cam.com/video/EnNwDIP7PoQ/w-d-xo.html

How do i decide on good quality shirts?
My issue is that without printify premium the double print is too expensive and I’m not sure it will sell and how to price it. Any suggestions?
Thanks for another great tutorial. 5 to 10 washes would be a good reference to see how much the color fades and the effect on the print. Maybe do a side by side comparison of an unwashed shirt and the other with each wash? 😊

Do I really need a laptop or iPhone is good enough?
