I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a wife and a lovely year old daughter, and a stream of income that gets me $27,000 ObrigadaWeekly. Plus a new identity a child of God. Hallelujah!!
We have in law issues and we did it wrong and now 20yrs later it is still the most stressful time of the year. He does his family and I volunteer at a homeless shelter on Christmas eve. 25th we do breakfast for anyone that shows up. Then I crash from being up 2days.
15:00 YES! The actual adult child to the family there is conflict w, that adult child must be the one to have the conversation w the family. I absolutely love my in-laws and we get along great but occasionally things pop up that are or could be conflicting so my husband handles the conversations. HOWEVER, I will also add that there have been times where my family is abusive toward me (not using hyperbole or being sarcastic) and he has had to step in and protect me and be the one the confront them. But typically, even w that side, I am the one that deals w them.
I am a mother of 4. I am the pusher and my husband is the puller. My husband is the head of our home but this is were we differ when it comes to our two sons.
This happen to me, it's hard to watch this video. She left. It was the perfect storm. No father in picture, child trauma, mom herself not in a healthy relationship, she had only girls, her mom was the matriarch and pulled the im sad, im unhappy often. My wife was a rope. I was pulling and her mother was. My wife decided to let go of me
We have been married since 1988. My outlaws have been rude nasty and insulting to me for 36 years, they are not Christians. Yes the mother in-law has been the driving force. Frankly you are just dumb to treat your daughter in law badly because WE HAVE NOTHING TO WITH THEM BECAUSE OF HER. NOT SMART IRMA ROSE.
Again Mark is not a therapist. When he becomes a medically licensed counselor, then he can speak on things having to do with psychology. Is Mark a sociologist? No.
Beg your pardon? Which part of this specifically do you take issue with to make such a comment like this. Especially, to a Pastor who has been in ministry for over 30 years, a beautiful family, healthy relationships with extended family, a faithful marriage and a blossoming ministry. Lacking a piece of paper doesnt necessary disqualify someone of his ilk from blessing others with the fruits of the word and creating healthy family structures.
@ again where is the education in phycology and the license to have the qualifications to speak on these matters. 1. Mark’s education is in theology 2. Mark’s job is being a preacher 3. Two totally different areas in life. 4. Leave mental healthcare to those professionals. Leave spiritual care to those professionals. 5. Would you go to the doctor for a brain tumor?
@@vanessaverner8480 he has a sermon series coming directly from scripture that talks healthy family structures. I go to God first with whatever it is going on. Doctors and medical professionals are good, God is great and His Word is life giving and overrules anyone and everyone including a therapist. I encourage you to not be so hell bent on only listening to people who have a certification. Once more, what exactly are you taking issue with from his session? You said psychology and mental health but I'm not clear on what as it relates to the podcast.

Why do so many people have issues with in-laws? Weird.
Because some people are controlling a$$ holes who don't know how to mind their own business.
@BonnieNeely-p5m Apparently lol
@@jaimereynolds258 I pray you are blessed with a good and loving family. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
