I have a friend who works for a company that imports leather from many different countries
and he says that leather smell is something that adds to leather that has lost its original smell,
also to poor quality leather. Thanks for the video 👍💖

Was glad to hear these are at least made in Mexico & hopefully northern Mexico where they tan great leather & do solid work. I was glad you mentioned the YKK zipper as that is the only way I woukd buy something like this with a zipper
To better fit tools you can dampen the tool loops with water which will allow the leather to stretch. Then put the tool in it & let it dry & you're good to go.

I just purchased this a few days ago after watching your video. I had the same problem zipping it closed. I found when you get back to the top of the pouch push down on the zipper while closing. It was easier for me.

Very interesting! I dabble with leathercrafting, and this is giving me ideas for custom pocket organizers.
My thought is that I could have the same outside shape to contour your front pocket, but have internal pockets that will fit my swiss army knife and flashlight. I wouldn't use the zipper (maybe a flap instead). The front pockets would be sized to fit a pair of Knipex Cobra XS pliers, and maybe a prybar.

I've been using that very wallet for a while now. I keep my debit card, ID and cash. I keep a Wuben light and a SAK Classic in the loops on the outside.
