Your best video EVER….my husband loved it…I actually screamed when Nathan fell….just sent it to my daughter to watch….the look on Marisa’s face was absolutely priceless.
I love that you brought light to this problem. Being from Michigan I had no idea this is happening. I appreciate you making this video. This is why we watch your channel. Thank you for being family friendly, too.
Loved this video. We have camped with our 5th wheel at several different campgrounds in the Everglades and did see poisonous snakes while out walking. It’s a beautiful environment, but very sad that all of the small game have disappeared because of the pythons. Any education on this issue is valuable, so thank you.
Marissa, I am so proud of you for facing your fear of snakes. This must have been one of the hardest videos you have done. Some of your adventures have been mind boggling, but this one is in a category of its own. I think they should have made a handbag out of the one you held for you.
Congratulations on facing your fears! Watching this was an armchair workout: we’ve been yelling, “don’t do it,” covering our eyes and leaving the room when it got intense. It didn’t help that we were planning on going to the Everglades in the near future!
OK - the bite of an Eastern Diamondback will in all likelihood not kill you, but from the way the pain level was described - you'd probably wish you were dead. A female Python can lay almost 70 eggs in a hatch so the Everglades are now overrun with those slithery monsters who eat every living creature in their path. I applaud the efforts made to catch them, but Southern FL would need to have a massive freeze to kill all those Pythons that are slithering around down there. Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad I was just along for the ride. :)
We live in Central Texas 25 miles from town on acreage with limestone, juniper trees, and oak trees. We have copperheads, coral snakes, rattlesnakes, and several species of non-venomous snakes. You can walk all around the pasture and never see a snake, but once or twice a year, one shows up on the patio near the house to warm up. Thirty years ago, I was terrified, but my husband loves snakes and has no fear of them. These days, we keep a snake stick near the door, so we can safely dispatch the dangerous ones.
Well, that ended up being very interesting! I almost didn't watch and I hope I don't have dreams about snakes tonight, but it was very educational! It is so sad that the pythons could spread beyond Florida. Hope the python hunters can keep them at bay!
What a wild experience! Props to you guys for taking on one awesome adventure after another, even when you have to face some big fears to do it. Really cool video! Stay safe and keep ‘em coming!
You’re literally in our home!!!! We live in the park in Flamingo!! My husband works in utilities for the park (water/wastewater). I’ve watched you guys before and loved your videos, but seeing this is even more awesome! Wish I’d have bumped into you.
Wow what an adventure this was to over come your fears Nathan and Marissa. I myself would nit be brave enough to hold a python. Too scary for me. You both did very well with that snake. I’m glad it all worked out. Have a great week and see you next week for the Rv show on TH-cam. If you are doing videos. See you soon!
My fear is snakes, and there is no way I want to face that fear. I am perfectly happy to live with my fear. Kudos to you in facing yours!! I like Anthony and glad to hear his knowledge about what to do or not do. You guys are getting bolder by the year in your adventures. Just wondering what is next? God bless you and keep you safe.
Hi Marissa and Nathan, you guys are certainly tapping into my biggest fears. First Angel's Landings nearly gave me a heart attach. Now the Everglades snakes, pythons, alligators and panthers!!! My heart! Again like Angel's Landings you couldn't pay me to go there. Lol 😲🥺 PS I wish I had known about the Tampa RV Show I would love to meet you. I have watched your channel for several years. Maybe next year, have fun! 😊❤
@@LessJunkMoreJourney Hubby and I will be there early Saturday- hope to see you!! I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for sharing your family life story with your viewers- we love you all!! ❤
No shame in having a healthy appreciation for the possibilities of human snake interactions. The rattlers are so good because they usually warn you unless you totally surprise them. The Pythons are so manageable once you tire them, and it was good to see you take the snake and handle it even though everything in you was saying don't. Great Vid., also that is so cool the draw for dinner, hopefully that will be recorded a bit! Nice Prize.
I don’t know if you guys have been there but we recently stayed at Bill Frederick park in Orlando it’s a city park and we were amazed at how central it was in Orlando everything so close by and it’s a nice little park with great views of shuttle launches in the fields
Marissa, you did so well. You should be so proud of yourself, ibdonrespect all the wild life, hope you can see a panther (from far) My fear are mouse and rats....can wait for your next adv. Stay safe and enjoy...❤
Wow! What an adventure! I am so impressed that you did this since you have a fear of snakes. I'm not afraid of snakes, but I would be very cautious in that heavy brush with rattlers and cottonmouths! I would be afraid of gators and my only phobia is being underwater inside of something that would leak!! Like a sub. No, no, no. Never.
Pythons are an "introduced" species not native to the US. I know of people who have a"kill on sight" approach to them. I use to handle snakes and fed a Boa when in High school. I have hunted rattlesnakes before. I used a 12 ga shotgun. Growing up on a farm makes you appreciate certain ones like a black snake or rat snake.
Oh Marissa I felt your fear through your expression when you were holding that snake!😂 I have a fierce fear of snakes as well and have yet to get past it. We have copperheads in the timber at our house and have to go inside for several hours to recover when I see one.
The good news is that there are not copperheards in the Everglades. There's actually only a small area along the Apalachicola River where you can find them in Florida. Good job bringing attention to the Pythons. I really thought everyone knew, but reading the comments, I realize lots of people dont knnow. As a Native Floridian, it's very sad to see what they are doing to our ecosystems.
Spiders….any! I’ve touched a tarantula while a guide held it ( not by choice but as an example to the 5yo class I had teaching at the time ) that scared me about the same as Marissa and her snake fear look. LOL
Nice job guys we won’t be trying this when we go to John Pennekamp later this year. Hey you always do stuff with Corey and Jessie why didn’t they come 😂
That's a no from me. I've watched too many episodes of Swamp People in the Everglades catching pythons. I'm glad there are people willing to do it, I am not one of them!
That was amazing. I agree with not walking past the rattle snake. I had a friend that had a python in college, so I have handled one, but wouldn't want to catch one in the wild. Good for y'all
Snakes don’t bother me too much, as long as I’m not surprised by them. But I would certainly not go out looking for them either. Congratulations Marissa for facing your fear. You gotta lot of guts!
That was pretty fearfull. I like campground free of snakes. Don't want to face a bear, either. Getting bad driving on some freeways, too. Shall I go on??? No! Ok. Did enjoy it...the video. Thanks. Blessings
I can truly say I don't have any fears like Marissa does of snakes, al though I did run a long way when I saw a 3 or 4 ft garter snake when I was a kid. Unfortunately I think that trying to hunt the pythons out of the Everglades is a lost cause. I wonder if they're any good to eat like rattlesnake? Keep the good stuff coming guys and give the kids a hug for me.
Copper Heads.....Red touches yellow, kill a fellow; red touches black, friend to Jack. I never forgot this after living in the big thicket located in Texas
I've always thought it was hurricanes that contributed to pythons and iguanas being so invasive in Florida. Never thought this was from released or escaped pets
You guys are so flipping brave!! Marissa’s reactions were so real, and I can’t believe he put that musk on his face! Lol gross!! And also, now we’re NEVER going to the Everglades! 😬 So entertaining. Very proud of you both.
Marissa's reactions and expressions are priceless!
Glad it was helpful, it is a real problem in Florida.
Loved this video. We have camped with our 5th wheel at several different campgrounds in the Everglades and did see poisonous snakes while out walking. Thanks! A category of its own for sure! Such an adventure!
That "no" at 7:10 Marissa... Man so much emotion
It was a big NO.
Good job Marissa. I never would have been able to do that. One thing I love about Alaska. No snakes. Going to have to get snake boots before we leave
Thank you for helping save our state! Welcome back to Florida and I hope to see y’all at the RV show
Congratulations on facing your fears! Watching this was an armchair workout: we’ve been yelling, “don’t do it,” covering our eyes and leaving the room when it got intense. It didn’t help that we were planning on going to the Everglades in the near future!
😂😂😂 which I could watch everyone at home watching!
Fabulous! Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it!

We’re already in Tampa from Jackson, Tennessee! Can’t wait to hopefully see you on Thursday!!
Whoo hoo!
More power to u guys. I was having chills just watching.

I’m amazed at your bravery but you are CRAZY! Snakes scare me silly! Love your channel
They scare me as well, but it was quite the experience! Glad you enjoy the channel!
Excellent!!! We have camped in the Everglades 3 times so far… at Flamingo campground…. Another great video guys!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Oh my goodness!! Aaaaah I could never do that. Love your videos and live to watch them on Sundays. Your children are growing so quickly.
Thanks so much!
What a wild experience! Props to you guys for taking on one awesome adventure after another, even when you have to face some big fears to do it. Really cool video! Stay safe and keep ‘em coming!

Well done both you were amazing and so brave. ❤🇬🇧
Love the slo mo when Nathan was falling and still held on!

The Tampa RV show is great and although we don't make it every year, it is a regular stop for us.
I love your videos even the scary ones. You're so brave that's a good thing. ❤

Awesome! Absolutely great episode. Congrats on conquering your fears.
Yall are awesome. The snakes are out of control here. They are beautiful creatures, though.
I don’t know if you guys have been there but we recently stayed at Bill Frederick park in Orlando it’s a city park and we were amazed at how central it was in Orlando everything so close by and it’s a nice little park with great views of shuttle launches in the fields
Thanks for the tip.
Fascinating! Terrifying, but fascinating!
Thanks for doing this and sharing with us all.
Glad you enjoyed it!
When Nathan slipped on the snake, I screamed! 🤣 game over bro!!!!
Omg! I could never do this! Snakes don't usually bother me but those guys are huge. Way to go Marissa and Nathan!!
Thanks!!
I watched even tho I have a huge fear of snakes...we need to stop the python invasion of pythons... thank goodness for guys like Anthony
I can't believe I watched this!!! Marissa, I can't believe you did this!!!! Good for you girl!!!
Thank you so much.
Wow! That was impressive and so brave of you to film this for us. I’ll just face that fear through watching you 😱😂❤️
I’m so proud of you and I watched the entire video but there is a very real possibility that I may have nightmares tonight!
Wowza! So proud of you Marissa for facing your fear of snakes! Had me on edge of my seat! 😂
Great video. Love Marissa faces.
You honestly were braver than me! Congratulations on facing your fears. Love your videos! 💛
Thanks!
I greatly enjoyed my time with the family! You all are wonderful, and I hope to do it again someday! Thanks for the journey 😊
Our pleasure!
Not just no...! I'm so proud of Marissa. What a truly unique adventure!
Thank you.
Wow, you guys were so brave! I had the Everglades on our travel list but.... not sure that freaked me out just a bit ;)
Us too!
Marissa, you did so well. You should be so proud of yourself, ibdonrespect all the wild life, hope you can see a panther (from far) My fear are mouse and rats....can wait for your next adv. Stay safe and enjoy...❤

That would freak me out. Not in my house!!!!!
We loved the Everglades! Congratulations you are great snake hunters 😳😳
OMG. Exciting video. I’ll pass on snakes but fun watching you do it.

You are correct, it doesn't seem to be a well known issue.
Loved Marissa’s face throughout the video. 😂
If y’all are still in the state of Florida, you need to go to Tarpon Springs.
Holy smokes lol I am seriously so proud of you Marissa! You go girl!!
Thanks! I was proud as well. It was actually a lot of adventure facing a huge fear of mine.
Not sure which is more funny - the video or the comments! 😂🤣
😂😂😂
Need to check out Showcase of Citrus in Clermont awesome Orange farm with petting zoo and monster truck rides
We've been there it's great.
They’ve had to change stuff around in the last 2 years do to a land lease changing a lot of new different stuff
Yes we noticed that this year.
I just love your videos.
Spiders….any! I’ve touched a tarantula while a guide held it ( not by choice but as an example to the 5yo class I had teaching at the time ) that scared me about the same as Marissa and her snake fear look. LOL
That Marissa faces this level of fear is amazing.
Nice job guys we won’t be trying this when we go to John Pennekamp later this year. Hey you always do stuff with Corey and Jessie why didn’t they come 😂
We should get them to come!
I’m impressed!!
That's a no from me. I've watched too many episodes of Swamp People in the Everglades catching pythons. I'm glad there are people willing to do it, I am not one of them!
Way to face your fear Marissa 😮 I think I’ll just stay safe in my home and never come out. Lol 😂

Thank you.
We just spent 4 days at the Long Pine Key campground. Our weather wasn’t that nice unfortunately. Kudos to you both facing your fear towards snakes. ❤
Thankfully we had a couple warm days. Great campground!
That was pretty fearfull. I like campground free of snakes. Don't want to face a bear, either. Getting bad driving on some freeways, too. Shall I go on??? No! Ok. Did enjoy it...the video. Thanks. Blessings
Laughed our asses off. This might be a one of the best episodes.
Thank you so much.
Holy crap. We have a reservation there later this year. Now I know I’m not walking around. I am terrified of snakes.
They eat them in Asia, where they come from, but in the Everglades they have too much mercury.
The rattlesnake would a little crazy! Way closer than I would want to be!
It was so crazy! That was a first for us and would be okay if it was our last 😂
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video. I don't think I could get my wife to watch it though.
I don't like alligators. So, where are we? Florida Santa Fe River/Gilchrist Springs area for kayaking. Face your fear! 😂
These snakes are my fear. My eyes are watering just from your introduction. Sorry but that fear will not be conquered. I’d rather meet my Maker 😂
Oh my goodness, I almost passed out when Nathan fell! Nope, would never be brave enough for this! Kudos to you’ll on your bravery! 😳😳😳
Thanks so much!!
Copper Heads.....Red touches yellow, kill a fellow; red touches black, friend to Jack. I never forgot this after living in the big thicket located in Texas
Oh! You mean coral snake! And the king snake is red on black friend of Jack.😊
Marissa I understand the look when you were holding that 10 foot snake
Oh goodness! You guys were so brave!!! 👀🌴🐍 Me? Nope! Hard pass! 😂
Overcoming Fears haha!
That was so cool!
Glad you enjoyed!
I have stayed in the Everglades, caught pythons and they are tasty. Fried with a Cajun seasoning.
You guys have guts…😂😂😎
WTG u too!!! No way would I ever do something like that, have never seen a snake outside a zoo and want to keep it that way.
GREAT JOB YOU GUYS ❤❤❤❤❤LOVE YOU
If we want to go hunting pythons, how do we contact the company you used?
I've always thought it was hurricanes that contributed to pythons and iguanas being so invasive in Florida. Never thought this was from released or escaped pets
my fear is flying!!!
CLASSIC LOLLOLLOLLOLLOLLOL Thanks
Good job Marissa handling that snake. Very impressed. Sorry snakes & heights aren’t for me.
All good
You guys are so flipping brave!! Marissa’s reactions were so real, and I can’t believe he put that musk on his face! Lol gross!! And also, now we’re NEVER going to the Everglades! 😬 So entertaining. Very proud of you both.
Thank you so much!!
I have a fear of fire, will
not be running into a
burning building to
overcome it. 😵
Those camp hosts seemed like a wealth of information, lol
Tics be sure to check for ticks ❤
Yeeeha you are in Florida!!!!! I huh!!
