Easily the best pre-release guide yet. Few content creators stressed the importance (or even mentioned ) Trend LC for her energy. Also appreciate how you mention Prisoner set for her in DoT teams as thats what I will have on her in my team of BS/Pela/Gepard w/ Trend LC.

Best guide I've seen so far for her. One thing I would have loved to see is some talk on Black Swan's E2 with Acheron, as when fighting groups I feel Acheron and Black Swan's E2 can feed each other with the E2 bringing an added debuff anytime a mob dies.
Yes, this one requires more testing as I do not have E2 myself. But I thought it was a stretch already that I even mentioned E1 which not many people had.
As soon as I get her I'll be able to spill some beans. As of of now I'm able to one cycle dot corrosion boss and have 35 stacks. 6 from kafka ult+skill/5 from bs skill/24 from e2 (6 per kill, 4 mini mobs)
She'll definitely make it easier to focus stacks onto bosses with her ult. Which I'm excited about. I'm really stoked for 70% res pen and rainbow break.

I'm sorry, but what should be the speed of kafka(e2s1) and black swan(e2s1) ruan mei(e2s1) for acheron(e2s5)? Currently it has kafka(139spd) and black swan(126spd) and ruan mei(175spd). (They both have a glamoth set and when the tour starts, the set becomes active because they exceed 160+spd.) Also, I have silver wolf(161 spd) and pela(161 spd). Which suit do you think I should use? Dotcheron looking like your strongest comp right now. all the speeds look good. But Try to get that Black Swan to 155-160 speed if you can. without you I wouldn't even remember that Kafka's signature can perform as close as her signature cuz it applies a Debuff on an enemy. Ngl thats a good lightcone too since it gives bonus DMG and speed to apply that debuff

If I manage to get Acheron, I'm definitely going to put her on a team with Welt and Pela/SW. I don't have a chance in hell of getting her to E2, and I already use Kafka and Black Swan in a DoT team with Guinaifen and Huohuo, so setting her up like this means I can comfortably swap in Gallagher and Sparkle in the fourth slot at my leisure, and I can have two powerful teams for dealing with most of what MoC can throw at me. Well, once I've gotten them all the relics they need.
I'm a new player. Started last weekend. I'm about to hit TB50 today. I lucked out and got Sparkle at 30 pulls and Bronya from standard after about 123 tickets. I plan to get Acheron because of Pela is there and probably I'll get to utilize Galla as I don't have another sustainer. My plan is to get her , then possibly FuXuan if she does rerun after 2.1. I've thought about this even though logic says Jingliu will be better for me for now I'm still thinking about the future and seeing Mihoyo's track record of making Raiden Mei archetypes strong I'm sticking with my gut feel like how I was years back during Raiden Shogun's release. With that being said I still know that the game is single player and no pvp and for this reason is why I'm still going for Acheron as it will also make me happy to play with her. I love challenges and don't mind the grind to build specific units for her. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I wish you well in getting her next week!
So especially for DPS characters you want to pull for the ones you like the designs of. If you like Shogun, Mei etc, don't let anything hold you back. You seem pretty strategic with your support pulls, FuXuan is a good pickup later. You'll be fine!

Even though I'm in the early stages of the game I'm also very careful where I spend my resources as I don't want to invest much in a unit that I won't be able to use later on. Transitional units are fine for clearing content but I won't invest in them further once I reach the endgame and will just wait til I get more units in my pool. I'm also confident Hoyo will keep releasing units to furthermore bolster or at least be synergistic with Acheron's kit. Overall I'm excited for things to come and looking forward to more videos from you! Subbed!

The number of debuffs dont matter. Frequency of application is what gives energy. Ie 10 debuff per action is exactly the same as 1 debuff per action. For acheron anyway

Silverwolf rng type 1/2/3 U get only 1 sometimes, sometimes u got 2 If u got type 1 on turn 1 And get type 2 & 3 on turn 2 Thats still counted as 2 debuffs in 2 turns Its more risk free than your pela + lc thats rng to bind status
Well i knew when i pulled Gepard he isn't a bad pull per se. That was a lost 50/50, true, but he was a viable unit anyway. And i somewhat invested in him already. I both got Kafka when she was out in like 10 or 20 pulls, no luck for her sig tho, and i got BS in 50 pulls and her copy in 20 more. As well as her sig. And i have Ruan Mei (without her sig but decently build already so it's OK), and i guess i can run both BS-Kafka-Acheron-Gepard and BS-Kafka-Acheron-RM depending on situation. Nice vid.
I just calculated the stats my acheron will have when I do get her. (I'm planning on e1 with signature at least, at most e2 with signature), and with the artifacts I have farmed so far (excluding planetary set since it's not in the game yet), my cr/cd total would be 60.9/138.8 My crit rate would also increase with another 12% due to the planetary set bonus, and if I manage to get her E1, it increases with another 18%, in which case I could either keep or swap the body piece with cr mainstat to cd, making my stats either 90.9/138.8 (cr main stat body, not accounting any crit subs my planetary pieces would potentially have), or 58.5/203.6 ( cd main stat body, again, not accounting for any additional crit substats) I could use a better chest piece, the rest is alright. I'm hoping I'll get some cracked planetary artifacts though.
one of the biggest benefits of having E2 is now you can reliably use sparkle. With Sparkle you still want CR body. But without sparkle, either way is close for you. 1:2 crit rate to crit DMG is ideal.
You say that Guinaifen needs resoultion, but her basic attack applies burn with trace. Also, her E1 inflicts a debuff with skill as well. It seems like she will be quite easy to build stacks for Acheron without Resolution.

I already prefarmed glamoth for acheron 💀. Excluding her traces, just from the diver set and glamoth, my acheron would sit at 79% crit rate, 161% crit dmg and 163 speed. The plan was to pair her up with my 161 speed bronya, 168 speed sw, and 164 speed welt to achieve hyper fast ult cycles.
Hoyoverse should have given the pre release guide to small creators and not those who are already big, because they gonna get the views anyway due to the following.

While she is strong you all need to remember that so far we got steady powercreep in this game. In both support and dps variety. So don’t expect her to stay best dps forver. Once they done with her and her new nihility supports they’ll start pushing sales of next big dps so don’t go too deep on Eidolons.

I'm planning to go for DOT-cheron but I'm vondering: what's the best speed stat for BS and Kafka then? Because I'm reaching around 160 to trigger glamoth with the help of Asta, but not having a sustainer in the team scares me a lot ( but having to re-farm relics to reach the speed breakpoint without Asta scares me even more) So what are the ideal stats for BS (E1) and Kafka (S1) to properly support Acheron? Also also, is it worth to give Kafka Penacony Planar Set to buff Acheron or Kafka Damage stays relevant nonetheless?
Equipping penacony on Kafka is pretty good in this scenario, also ERR rope on her. Build as much speed as possible on kafka and BS, because how fast they go determines how often acheron gets ULT

she is so busted... why?? because her stacks CARRY OVER.. meaning if you have 9 stacks, you can use her skill, get 1/2 stacks (depending on if you have her LC) to start the next turn THEN use her ultimate... unlike energy based ultimates that wouldn't get the energy for using their skill/basic if your energy is full god damn I can not wait for her release...
Simulated universe Erudition path works on her too,there a blessing that if you kill enemies with a attack it charges Brain in a Vat. Brain in a Vat When characters use Ultimates via ways other than Brain in a Vat, and if Brain in a Vat's Enlightenment Charge ratio is at 100%, temporary Energy can be granted to allow using the Ultimate for an extra time. The plant temporary Energy lasts until the beginning of the next turn. If the Ultimate is successfully used an extra time, consume all Enlightenment Charges. She can ult twice and if you refill the Brain in a Vat you can ult again, in a total she can ult three times in a single action

As I started fairly recently I don't have Kafka's light cone. I do have Swan E1 + LC, and I plan to get Acheron + LC. Is it enough to have Kafka with Fermata and Fire MC + Trend?

SW's lc is probably better than Kafka's. It has crit value which is more valuable for acheron

one of the biggest benefits of having E2 is now you can reliably use sparkle. With Sparkle you still want CR body. But without sparkle, either way is close for you.
1:2 crit rate to crit DMG is ideal.

You say that Guinaifen needs resoultion, but her basic attack applies burn with trace. Also, her E1 inflicts a debuff with skill as well. It seems like she will be quite easy to build stacks for Acheron without Resolution.

Best Acheron guide I've seen. I plan on running Dotcheron because I hate how much better her lightcone is compared to other options. Not going for the lightcone. If I lose my 50/50 I'll probably skip. Thanks for the great guides as always
I already prefarmed glamoth for acheron 💀. Excluding her traces, just from the diver set and glamoth, my acheron would sit at 79% crit rate, 161% crit dmg and 163 speed.
The plan was to pair her up with my 161 speed bronya, 168 speed sw, and 164 speed welt to achieve hyper fast ult cycles.
gamouth and rutilant are still the best worlds to farm its better than having 10% more dmg% or whatever and getting a ton of useless planars.
Kind of missed the most important part of her E6, which is she can shred all toughness now with her basic/skill.
Also im pretty sure that at e6 she breaks toughness regardless of weakness types with her basic/skill since her ulti does that

While she is strong you all need to remember that so far we got steady powercreep in this game. In both support and dps variety. So don’t expect her to stay best dps forver. Once they done with her and her new nihility supports they’ll start pushing sales of next big dps so don’t go too deep on Eidolons.

Another thing is BS ult also could be extend to 3 turns if she cast Ult in their turn as well.
one thing about sw- her debuff frequency should be 5 stars, since she implants a bug every basic attack
Without any assistance of lc? Yea. But resolution exists and helps other characters debuff on basics and skills
I'm planning to go for DOT-cheron but I'm vondering: what's the best speed stat for BS and Kafka then? Because I'm reaching around 160 to trigger glamoth with the help of Asta, but not having a sustainer in the team scares me a lot ( but having to re-farm relics to reach the speed breakpoint without Asta scares me even more)
So what are the ideal stats for BS (E1) and Kafka (S1) to properly support Acheron?
Also also, is it worth to give Kafka Penacony Planar Set to buff Acheron or Kafka Damage stays relevant nonetheless?
Equipping penacony on Kafka is pretty good in this scenario, also ERR rope on her. Build as much speed as possible on kafka and BS, because how fast they go determines how often acheron gets ULT

she is so busted... why?? because her stacks CARRY OVER.. meaning if you have 9 stacks, you can use her skill, get 1/2 stacks (depending on if you have her LC) to start the next turn THEN use her ultimate... unlike energy based ultimates that wouldn't get the energy for using their skill/basic if your energy is full

The plant temporary Energy lasts until the beginning of the next turn. If the Ultimate is successfully used an extra time, consume all Enlightenment Charges.
She can ult twice and if you refill the Brain in a Vat you can ult again, in a total she can ult three times in a single action

For Acheron teams, the trend LC is almost as important as the character gepard himself. So yes trend over all else.

As I started fairly recently I don't have Kafka's light cone. I do have Swan E1 + LC, and I plan to get Acheron + LC. Is it enough to have Kafka with Fermata and Fire MC + Trend?
Kafka better off using another LC that provides debuffs. Like resolution shines
