The Goodwill outlet is one of my favorite places to find home decor on a budget. If you are trying to decorate your home and don’t want to break the bank, I love how far you can stretch your dollar at the Goodwill outlet.
Another thing I love about it is that something from Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, or West Elm is not going to cost any more than an item laying right next to it from the dollar store.

Agree! I would be terrified bringing anything from Goodwill, FB or yard sales into my home. Bed bugs are very real and difficult to get rid of!
@skaus1793 I've been thrifting for over 35 years and have never had one problem. I clean and sanitize everything first, though. If you've ever stayed in a hotel, sat anywhere in public, or eaten at a restaurant, you've been exposed to possible "cooties". Lol
I buy wrapping paper at Goodwill all the time!

Awe finds, not every city has a Goodwill Bin! The nearest to me is Pittsburgh 2 hrs south!

Great finds. You could of used the legs by cutting them up into sections and using them for candle holders or drill a tiny hole in the sections and put a sprig of greenery in it.

I just found your channel and am a fellow thrifter. Around 85% of my home decor and furniture is thrifted. It's so fun! Even if I had an unlimited budget, I'd still thrift shop.
Goodwill has gotten a bad reputation over the years, largely due to misinformation. There are still amazing merchandise and amazing deals! This is proof of that.
I enjoyed seeing all the great stuff you found. My first thought was wondering how you clean and sanitize your purchases. I have my own way of doing it, but am curious what you do.

❤ You found a lot of lovely things! Something that I would find difficult is bin and open table shopping! I don’t appreciate when everything is mixed Helter Skelter together and piled up on top of everything else! Many things will get damaged…or break! Lots of shoppers’ are not very careful or gentle when digging quickly through!

New subscriber and that location of the bins is my favorite. Most of my fellow thrifting/reselling friends are there for the clothes and the shoes and I am there for the hard goods. It can be hit or miss as far as finding stuff, but when it's a hit, it's a jackpot and makes all of the misses worth it! I always grab almost anything wood (or metal decor) especially frames, boxes, and legs. Would've totally grabbed those legs!

I was at the Goodwill with my sister a few years ago and found a metal sculpture piece that was in pretty bad shape, but I could see the potential in it. My sister kept telling me I didn't want it, but I kept saying I did. When I finished straightening it out and painting it she was amazed. It was a carnival with a merry go round, balloons, people and a tent. It is my favorite piece ever. That shower caddy system looks like it would be good for holding pot/pan lids.

Tiffany, I am wondering with your many many fantastic buys and decore tips. How do you keep to just buying what you need? That is a problem I find I am having. Do you also shop to have items to stage homes? Your decore is so peaceful. I truely am happy i have found you 🎉
Great question. Believe it or not I’m actually a bit of a minimalist! 😆 Yes, I do use some of the items for staging homes. I also use some in our own home ( I frequently switch up my decor). Some I give to family and friends and occasionally I sell items. I’m also hoping to connect with an organization/ministry that could use household and home decor items to bless those settling into homes that otherwise might not be able to afford items like that. Not quite sure what that will look like long term.

Bless you for donating to those less fortunate. I have been on a journey for yrs. For many yrs now I have been an antiques reseller after having to retire early due to a sudden medical condition. Through the yrs I have been changing to add in decore items. I have found alot of people just dont have the talent to decorate thier homes and or the funds. I believe it could be a fun and rewarding adventure to be able to bring items to families and help them to discover the fun in picking and learning to stage items for thier own homes. You are an inspiration 🤗

I think the tongs are for grilling hotdogs. It keeps them from slipping out.😊

It’s hard to beat Goodwill Outlet prices. It has made other stores (even normal thrift stores) seem so expensive to me! 😜

Gray is dull and depressing. To each her own though.
I use a lot of gray and other neutral tones. You may enjoy Canerbury Cottage here on TH-cam, she’s super creative and uses a wider color palette.
