Right I do donate items back. In the case of the horse painting I actually bought it knowing I'd just show you guys then sell it. I have a stash in the garage of decor but honestly it's not huge. I try not to have too much accumulated!

So, if people want to stay out of thrift stores more for us to have fun😊 Besides most items we like that are new or out of our price range will finally make it to a thrift store😅

Thank you! Yes, I usually try to style everything myself to be able to show you. With that one it wasn't specifically for my home so I didn't actually find a place that looked great for it. But I brought it home so that I could 1) show you all and 2) sell it on Marketplace 💟 The lady who bought it loved it so much!!

Hey Tasha, you’re quickly becoming one of my favorite thrifting channels. I’ve wondered about spray painting a basket white then adding a dark wax or like the Waverly antiquing glaze or something like that? Any ideas? I definitely don’t want anything resembling a gray! I love either light, cool toned med or like a Walnut color!
Same 🙌🏼 It's funny you say that, I've been thinking about trying that same thing too. In fact, I might try a dark antique wax over top of the gray that I did, just to see how that looked. I definitely think it's a good idea although if I was starting one from scratch, I would probably use a tan color paint and then an antiquing wax rather than white?

Hi from Ontario, Canada. I love that you got all that neat stuff from the bins for so cheap; we don't have Goodwill here or bins. The whitewashing really is effective to tone down the orange color and I'll keep it in mind; I'm looking at an orangey coffee table right now lol. I do love the Margot bag too. A lot of people are like me. I do seasonal...also when I get tired of stuff I put stuff in the attic and trade out.
