No matter what, you know you are getting a great workout that is fun, as long as no one gets hurt. At least that is how I look at riding at my age (57). It's a great way to stay in shape, work on balance and keep coordination and reaction time active. 😉
As capable as the DRz is and even being enhanced for this type of riding from the mods I've done... There's very little that can be done about its weight ☹ Its really an Achilles heel for riding the type of terrain I do with it. As it turns out, this week a few unexpected "things" happened, looks like I'll be getting back to 2stroke true enduro machine and I can put the DRz back in its dual sport clothes ... ;)

55,000 miles on my heavily modded 2011. Runs and looks better than new
The DRz is a great do it all bike and it got me through this season. But as of yesterday I'm back on a 2t for this type of riding.

We do a lot of riding, out Tolland, October Mt. and Beartown in MA, but this was recorded in central CT.
