My DRz has been down for a week since I found out I bent the fan shaft and twisted the left radiator... It'll be back in action for this weekend. These bikes can conquer anything, from the slimy woods of the northeast to the deserts of the southwest 🤘
@@painsrides Sorry to hear that man, I forgot I even had a fan, didn’t come on for this ride which was surprising since it was pretty toasty. Looking forward to seeing your next video 🤘🔥
@@desertdrz7618 The day busted it, was around 95 degrees and 95% humidity with slime on everything. The trail system all slow, technical single track, the DRz only over heated once on a bad climb... I didn't realize I broke anything until the next day when I decided I was going to give the cooling system a quick check because of that over heat.
@@bigbadvicHo I always wonder why they didn’t put the quad ltz engine in the drz.. it was fuel injected from 2009 until they discontinued it. I just read that Polisport came out with a fresh plastic kit for it to make it look more modern 😆
I'm considering a used DRZ400... I'm struggling with my decision. Get a KTM EXC-F which is lighter and faster... or the DRZ400 which is a tank with rock solid reliability.
@@JasonRidesmoto it really comes down to where you ride, the drz is a fantastic street legal off road bike but if you plan on doing anything technical or racing I’d go with the exc.. it’s noticeably lighter and faster out of the box.. however maintenance is more frequent, rebuilds after 150 hours etc. Best to get both haha. Thanks for checking out the channel!
Wow, this is right behind my house!
feel free to join us!
@ that would be awesome.

I love carb four strokes. They just perform better and are easy to tune for a carb savvy guy
Heck yeah me too! My favorite bikes are carburetorated ❤
For those of us higher up in the Rockies carbureted is not ideal unfortunately
I’m waiting to see if they update the 2025 DRZ sm
