I'm so happy Jim took up where his brother, John, left off. I think it would make John (RIP) happy as The Blues Brothers are just too great to ever stop!!
sadly he tried a hostile takeover of the blues brothers as if he had heritagal rights to it and Dan had to cut him loose. John Goodman definitely did well in 2000. From what I heard the movie was pretty much the same idea script treatment that Dan and John came up with: Fresh out of prison and on a road trip down south to meet a mysterious voodoo queen and they get jammed up along the way, many chases later they escape
My autistic daughter picked up on the blues brothers a few years ago, and since watched every second of the movies and live performances I could find and every song available. We found this performance and she was overjoyed to see Jake and Elwood as old men.
My nephew was in Eugene Oregon at a dispenserey on 4/20 and out from the back room comes Jim Belushi and starts showing his line up of his current weed he grows at his farm
@@mvorselenI never understood the dislike for John Goodmans role in the Blues Brothers. Of course it’s not the same without Jon but still. I think he had a decent voice and he cared about the project. What more could you ask for? He’s a tribute to what came before 🤷🏾♂️ atleast I’m my opinion.
Me either I found out from is weed show he's so funny to one episode he got so emotional. Because he was talking about John. He said his weed would have helped him, and he would be alive today 😢😢😢
Love The Blue Brothers ! I love the movie with John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd as The Blues Brothers! John Belushi was the greatest comedian and movie actor! Rest in peace John Belushi 🙏🙏😢😢! Your music still lives on and your movies !! Jim Belushi does a great job! His brother would be so proud!! I've seen The Blues Brothers movie and Blues Brothers 2000 !! Both awesome great movies movies ! These two should have been in The blues Brothers 2000!! 👍👍👍😎😎💯🎷🎷🎷🎸🎸🎹🎹🎤🎺🪕🪘🥁🎙️😊😊❤❤❤
Why Jim was replaced by John Goodman in the Blues Brothers 2000 i will never understand. He's a great actor, he can sing and do the dance moves. I love John Goodman, but i've always felt that Jim would have been a better choice. Also he was a hot name back then
No, no, no. Definitely not imposters. They're the real deal. I even met them after the show and even gave Dan a kiss on his cheek, still moist with sweat from his performance, and have the photograph to commemorate it. 😎
The BB movie with John Goodman was an Insult to Jim.. Dan should be embarresed of him self, for doing that.. John is not even a Musician like Jim actually is.
The only movie worse than the Blues Brothers horrid representation of blues singers ( Aykroyd sucks so bad) and a blues band doing cornball Hollywood video dance steps is Blues Brothers 2000, which is even worse. The redeeming factor is that it introduced younger generations to the older R&B greats even though Hollywood cheesed up their performances. John Goodman & Aykroyd stunk to high heavens in the sequel. Opinion based on my career in blues bands, some with major blues artists, from New Orleans ( hometown) to Chicago to NYC to Texas, etc.

John would be proud.
The Bass is Brilliant !
Dan Aykroyd è il doppio 🤣 ma è sempre un piacere vederlo! 😍
Amazing. Dan lets produce The BB 2023. I can write it
My nephew was in Eugene Oregon at a dispenserey on 4/20 and out from the back room comes Jim Belushi and starts showing his line up of his current weed he grows at his farm
That’s awesome!
nice to see jimmy picking up after his brother, and
Dan is always a blast ..Thanks for the show Mary
Should've been the cast in Blues Brothers 2000, just these two
Anyone would have done a better job than John Goodman, but Jim would indeed be the best choice.
I don't know why Jim didn't do it. I'm really surprised.

Bravissimo 😂
Assomiglia un sacco al fratello ❤
Bravi ragazzi! So funny !! I like so much.
About Fucking time, jim joined the Band.
Badass
You can't ever replace John Belushi.
He was one of a kind.
Only Jim can. I still can't figure out why he wasn't casted for the movie i don't want to mention.
@@mvorselen that would have been so great.
They’ve been delivering weed around Denver. Wish I could meet the brothers, even if it’s Jim.
To be fair, it has been Jim for way WAY longer now, than it was John.
Elwood and Zee!

Dan's voice 8s gone. Rubber Biscuit!
Anyone know where to find an up-to-date schedule for their appearances? Their website's concert calendar hasn't been updated in *_AGES._*
I did a google search and all I could find are three dates in Europe in 2023 on Bandisintown.com.

Why didn't they do this with the band Chicago?
I pulled them out of retirement by ordering my pocket bike.
ma dico io,,,,ci vuole coraggio
too bad there is no member of the real blues brothers band
I was gonna say... didn't recognize any of them
Dan is there and he is one of the originals. The rest of them have died. :(
Not jim or dan these are inposters

Pfffffff.....escroquerie ! Il y a longtemps que John Belushi est mort ! Il aurait honte de voir des guignols pareils l'imiter !!!
Not really one was his best friend the other his brother, keeping his legacy going!
