I've two BMW E36 Compact: a 323ti as a drift project car I'm building and a 316i Compact with an M44B19 and LSD differential as a daily... On wet tarmac there is so much fun! Come to the dark side!!! We have Compacts!!! :P
i lived in Poland, and there everyone hates comacts. For me the best car to lern drift, reliable, a big shop of aftermarket parts. And the most you just don't really care how it's looks like sick video anyway !

Watching this video has made me decide not to swap a m54b30 engine in I’m gonna keep the m43b19 but put the dohc m42b18 cylinder head on so it will make a bit more power and slap a turbo on
@@michaelmarcus509 I know perfectly that in other E36s but never knew the Compact has same issues. I drift E36 sedan for 2 years and it is still fine. I just put poly bushings all around and weld small plate on front side of the diff to prevent snapping of the front bolt. Subframe and floor is still fine so far.
@@michaelmarcus509 yeah sometimes they last long until fail. I plan to turbo my s52 so probably gonna have problems haha. In the other hand my buddy bought stock 330i E46 and already had cracks on the floor under so he welded plates last winter.
@@DriftlandTV i got an m44 sedan and everyine says it cant be drifted then i see this. Are m44s worth the upgrade? I wanna keep my 4 cyl and still go sideways

What did she do to strengthen the rear end? Asking bc i love my 318ti and wanna drift if anyone knows.
What do you mean? Rear end is like E30 one - simple and strong
@@DriftEmigrant but they like to rip out of the car. The rear is fine, but the metal its connected to is weak and can tear.

well i think this video answers your questions...!
@@Wolfenstein-4D it's not the engine that makes car easy to drift, you can use at 1st to get some experience and than swap M50 or M52
Isnt it a M43TU??
