    This is an easy tip for creating a grain line mark if you're not cutting on the fold. I try to get the most out of some nicer fabrics and this is just the way to do it. Thank you!

    Hi if I don't have enough fabric in length selvage side.
    Can I cut a long dress width wise pls let me know..

      Hi Hafsah,... yes, you can, but it will look, fall, drape, slightly different than if cut on the bias.

    Is it normal to have a straight grain and bias grain together in the side seam? It's really annoying! I tried to cut my skirt on bias but my one side seam had a bias grain at the top and straight grain at the bottom. my skirt has flare at the bottom maybe because of that? sorry if there are mistakes my English is bad. 😅
