I was afraid the glossy chamfer would look gaudy, but it seems to be a nice little statement to the board. It adds a subtle under glow to the border of the keycaps. I think the glossy chamfer works best if you have a keycap set where are all the alpha and modifier keys are the same base color. I could imagine this particular model with something like GMK Lux--damn that would look so sleek and luxurious.

I absolutely love the sound of the Mr Suit (especially with all the foam) and I would try for it but I just can’t get down with TKL. It just looks far too formal for me and looks less “custom” as opposed to my favourite 75 and 65%. Plus the TKL I already have takes up way too much mouse space on my small desk. It’s a shame there aren’t more 75’s, a 75% version of the Mr Suit would be absolutely sick.
i mean a 75 Mr Suit would just be a Jelly Epoch. Owlabs has already created a 65% and 75%, this is their TKL. and i agree the Mr Suit is a lot more tame than the Jelly Epoch or Vice 65 based on looks but it fits the name, an honest complaint from people was that the voice and jelly were a bit too aggressive in their designs
I'm tempted to get another Suit tbh, because I love it so much. Build it with a CF plate, you have another amazing board. At this point though, I can't decided if I should go for r2 or wait for r3 colours.

@@CookiePire Yeah, Ok I see what your initial question meant. I do recommend logging into your QWERTY account a good amount of time before the GB and if you have Paypal dual auth. at least activate one touch before the GB so you don't have to waste time waiting for Paypal to send a code.
Q1 is a great option. I am also new and the Q1 is my first real custom board. It’s a great way to test out mods, switches, and key caps and see what sound you like.

Gonna be honest I'm in love with compact 75% or compact f13 75% above all... But that PCB is so interesting, I really want to try one of these even if TKL seems so bulky now. But I'm also in the hole for 3 Bubble75's so

How did you end up modding the stabs? I know you did a jump cut over it, but I managed to get a Mr Suit and was wanting to know what lube you used/if you did the holee or epsi mod, etc.

Hey Shoobs, do u install the switches on the suit after you close up the case or before?
It's a gasket mounted board. You have to install them before you put the pcb into the case.

Looks like he used the xht bdz on wires, and I don't think you can holee mod the owlab stabs.
