Song: "War Pigs"
~ LYRICS ~
"War Pigs"
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death's construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh lord yeah!
Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor
Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait 'til their judgement day comes
Yeah!
Now in darkness world stops turning
Ashes where the bodies burning
No more war pigs at the power
Hand of God has struck the hour
Day of judgement, God is calling
On their knees the war pig's crawling
Begging mercy for their sins
Satan laughing spreads his wings
oh lord yeah! - เพลง

Anyone who ever called this, "the Devil's music" was never really listening.
With songs like "Sympathy for the Devil" and...pretty much every AC/DC song ever, it's understandable where that label comes from. Do I think so, though? No way!
That's because there sheep they were a sleep and didn't want to hear the truth of how amerikkka is so corrupt.
They called it the devil music because people in that era still believed in God. It was a scare tactic to stop Metal and the information against government. NOW they call It RACIST MUSIC because now the new Devils are Racists .

Classic, even my 14 year old son loves this song, when it come on q104.3, I’m loving it!
What makes this song so brilliant and effective is that it doesn't mention any person, country, organization, event, or war. Instead it is vague and generic, making its message a permanently relevant and timeless criticism of human nature, rather than a divisive one-sided take on a single event.

This song was released in 1970. In 1971 i was a freshman and i remember the older kids were being drafted to Vietnam. In those two years we lost a lot of young soldiers. AVERAGE VIETNAM SOLDIER WAS 19 YEARS OLD.
An elderly Ukraine lady, fleeing her home, and town, said to a BBC reporter; "Putin is exterminating our young people", Ukraine's future!
I feel for her. Ukraine is trying to stem the flow of the world's second biggest super power. Ukraine never asked for this war, but Putin sees it as HIS `moment' in history. As did Hitler, before him!
Yeah I think about that a lot these days. I can absolutely see why some dodged the draft. I'd probably hide my kids out too, not sending them off to fight for a country that the gov hates us and uses us for their personal gain. Nope, never
Back then it was seen as admirable and the thing you did for your country, but it was a war we never should have been in among other things. Then they were treated like shit when they came back 😒

... It's been viewed over 18 million times on this video alone. Which was posted in 2014.... It's obviously still being listened to heavily.
They mean people need to listen to the lyrics, to listen to the truth behind them.
+Tyler Johnson yeah this part
2024 and War Pigs is more relevant now than when it was written.
No life is any more or less relevant than others, pointless conflict in Vietnam is just as pointless conflict as that of the Congo or Rafah
@@QuinsBecementGoblin-mv9vs Agreed.
This song is beautiful and unique in it's own way.
Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Best opening ever written.
l
Check out the original, walpurgis, the opening line is: witches gathered at black masses, bodies burning in red ashes..the quality isn't as hi-def though..
@@noahh2338 I understand they changed it because of the imagery. i wish they hadn't had to do that. Given they did, i would have preferred a true rhyme - when i hear the repeated "masses," it's alway a clunky start to the song as i take note of it.
Its right up there!
U can’t masses w/ masses
The most apt song of ALL time. This should be the anthem of remembering our traitors that call themselves politicians. No matter their leanings. Traitors ALL
All politicians are pigs
is this exclusive to just one country or can I throw my countries politicians into the traitor pit as well?
@@comsky4251 ALL the countries of the world have their politicians that are traitors. The poltical class throughout the world are the same.
@@dickbarlow3358 so...can I?
@@comsky4251 go for it
I was overseas i was listening to this I grew up listening to this kind of music
Same day, different decade
Imagine hearing this almost half a century ago, must be mindblowing.
ceo of racism and still hold true today. And we have done nothing about it
@@polyphonicmonkey9797 yeah we have. Its close to being irradicated. Racism is not dead, but it is on life support, kept alive by politicians to create fear amongst minorites for power, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as “racists."
ceo of racism jesus christ, you just made me realise this song is almost 50 years old. And it still makes me headbang and sing it. What a masterpiece
12 yrs old when this came out, and WP fit right into my learning about life. Too bad today's "music" doesn't do the same.
Yeah, we were watching the Vietnam war on TV at the time and this song, and many others with the same message, gave us the false hope that things were about to change for the good.
I'm still convinced that Bill Ward was one of the greatest metal drummers
Yessss
He is probably THE best. Just my opinion though.
+Erik Menendez Lars ulrich is better
+TheChattounet Ahahahhahaha
sorry :'(
Oh my god . One of the greatest songs ever
what a fucking intro to a song holy shit it never fails to get me going
This song is so perfect. The lyrics, the instruments, the vocals. Black sabbath is just perfect in every aspect.
They were perfect until Ozzy left or was kick out
Oh yeah. Black Sabbath is the best metal group.
@@merce678Dio made some insane good music with sabbath
Aren't you Butthead?
There is no perfect butthead but there is amazing. Speaking too what I'm familiar with the drummer Ward is so underrated. Maybe because he was slashed on drink so often but he goes through more rudiments in one song then I will list and in out of syncopation seamlessly over and over. Apice held the ship in his absences but the smooth creativity is most all Ward.
For a supposedly “satanic song”, I can’t think of anything more biblical than war profiteers going to hell
the devils puts the truth right in your face
@john brown They are now however
@@rigo1124 He puts both truth and lies in your face to try and manipulate you to become a sinner and get punished and punish other people. Satan hates people because god loves us. He is a manipulator
Except the last line, because according to the Bible Satan will be right there with them. He is not some agent of justice and this is a very bad misconception. In fact I believe its the misconception that Satanism is based on and I do wonder if the last line is alluding to that.
Groovy, far out
This song always gave me the chills when I was younger .the first part every time I thought it was the tornado sirens going off
I think they're supposed to be air raid warning sirens.
This is the best orchestrated video I've ever seen. Fantastic
History repeats itself, scary how this song is spot on to today
wenn das nicht Spophie Scholl ist ... wer soll es den sein
You must be joking right?
And the Marxist's useful idiots are tearing down and erasing OUR history. How will are future generations ever learn from history, good and bad, to learn what works and what doesn't . . the mistakes along the way?
One thing man never learns from history is that man never learns from history.
"Repeats" implies that it ever stopped
Ozzy gets a bad time in the mainstream media but rock fans know him for what he really is, a genius
TRUE GENIUS
many thanx 2 hollywood doctors andv......nah thats not her name, its ozzysha
