It is sad that we are losing stations on LW, but I also understand that cost comes into it. I used to listen to RTE in the evening's from where I live in Southampton. Now I have to revert to WiFi.
The high energy cost has accelerated the process for sure. We are behind Europe I guess as many stations there went off a few years ago. I do wonder what will happen when we are totally reliant on the internet with no backup. Thanks, Daz
Radio Antena Satelor, Romania on 153 kHz will be on longwave long time from now on. Unfortunately for foreigners, it is broadcasting in romanian language and traditional romanian music. I don't know how well liked will be for non-romanian listeners.

And that's another longwave transmitter gone. That's a pity. In a couple of years the band will be completely silent.
