My wife has a compulsion for Temu. The packaging has been a biggie. She has received items in questionable shipping materials. One item was replaced very quickly. The second try at a replacement seems to have vanished from the face of the planet. I've also heard refunds can be kinda sketchy.
I've yet had any issues with Temu's packaging and returns. I've yet have to send anything back but have received refunds. Then again, what's like tree fitty? 😂
It’s Chinese. What do you expect? You obviously weren’t on the DHGate and AliExpress train years ago. Of course it’s gonna be sketchy trying to return an item to China. If they don’t give you a return slip you have to go pay for international shipping to return it (not worth it) you snooze you lose pal
Yes the app has way too much info from your phone that it sends to their servers. Not worth the couple dollars worth of savings. Looks like they are promoting heavy on TH-camrs 😢
I finally started getting fewer temu ads after months of training my (raspberry) pi hole blacklist. And now? A 30 minute temu ad masquerading as content. I was hoping this would be a hard-tool torture test a'la project farm. Or at least a demo. Maybe next time?
I've used Temu on a computer browser + incognito mode (or equivalent) and no nuisance from spamming. Good to know that the phone app may be problematic.
I used to be a setup tech on a AIM AFC 3d wire former in a place in Grand Haven Michigan. I used to make those brake hooks on that machine on my spare time and give them out to my friends and family. They make a great gift
That vacuum brake bleeding pump does both pressure and vacuum. Slide the black collar forwards or backwards to swap it between modes. (You'll see in the video it's actually set to the pressure setting) The gauge goes right for pressure, and left for vacuum. I have owned the exact same kit (From E@#y) for a couple of years and it works just fine.
@@jonalowe I've found it works well for pressure, up to around 40psi. But, it will only draw down to around 15 in/Hg vacuum, which is fine for most things. Whereas, my other brass body cheapy hand vac pump, which only does vacuum, will pull down to 20-25 in/Hg no problems. How do you find your's with vacuum?
@simonilett998 I haven't really tested it for that. I mainly use it to trace pressure/vacuum lines on my Mercedes. I also have a pure hand vacuum pump I use.
best tool I was ever given (By a Mechanic) 8-10 MM battery terminal ratchet for side terminal or top terminal small, fits in your pocket, works well....
Uhg, don't be a Temu shill. Their social media marketing team must be working overtime as I keep seeing these unboxing/review videos popping up on my feed lately.
I've been watching forever and enjoy your videos. Thanks for all the entertainment. But for all your tech prowess, can you not find a better mic solution so we can hear others who are on camera?
Ive bought like 7 $10 digital calipers from menards. The tape measures were pricey, So was the brake vacuum pump. I like my budget ancel (alternative to autel) scanner I bought a little while ago that I’d take over that one any day. The rest is stuff I probably would actually buy.
I like the wrench roll, vacuum pump, and electrical testing meters. Please make a video putting this stuff to the test. Temu definitely spams everyone a lot.
That was actually a interesting video. I just watched one very similar done by the boys at Motor Addicts where they purchased single item tools from Temu then put them to the test on camera. The results were actually quite funny!!!
If the tools actually hold up and work properly they should work. I spose it really depends on the car and what you need to fix. I bought a 200 buck Autel when we started getting newer cars and it works fine with the the newest car we own, a 08 PT Cruiser. It sees all the computers on my 06 Charger RT too. I'd love a monster like you fixed but just can't justify the money for what I own.
It is amazing how good the cheap tools and scanners are now. Used to be it cost $40-50 to get a basic code reader that only listed the codes and that was it. Now for half that ($20-25) you can get a basic scanner that can pull trim data and do graphing and all sorts of things that used to take a Snap On Solus ($$$$) and serious skill and years of training. I've got a Launch Creader V+ that cost me $34 and it really helps working on the family fleet. Of course every OBD II reader and scanner is useless for a '93 Town Car but I have an older INNOVA code puller and a shop manual set for that beast.
I got the NOS air freshener free a while back from a company I ordered mudflaps from. Was super random but actually decent. Done now of course but still stuck to the side of my toolbox 😁
Temu prices seem high, especially considering they are going to sell you information before you can get your items. I bought a caliper measurer from Amazon for $17 with two batteries.
The Lady and the Tramp scene with the tape measures was hilarious! Thanks for the run through, like others have written, looking forward to the testing. ~ Chuck
I've yet any issues with the QC of the items in general. I mean, you do get what you pay for but it's all worked. That cheap hand pump is flimsiest feeling thing but it holds up.
I've got that exact vacuum pump and it's utter garbage! The dash cam argument isn't quite right; if it's their fault, you have your dash cam footage. If it's your fault, you're under no obligation to share the footage since it's your property.
What's up Gabe? Good to see you and JR making it happen. All of the electronics and tools sound cool, but from experience they do not hold up as well as the more expensive products. They may be perfect for working on light duty applications. Awesome content!
Hey brother! Agreed- Definitely go for quality when you can. This was a bit off the beaten path for us as an experiment to see if the cheaper route might be feasible. That OBD-II scanner is legit, by the way! I was seriously impressed when we tested it out!
Only if the dash cam is connected to the internet aren’t there any dash cams you can just have without a subscription like a sd card or something? The only way it could screw you is if it was a subscription or something where some outside source monitors your cameras yeah?
The tape measure bit just got this video demonitized. LOL This used to be a family show!! I'm going to have to pick up the wrench roll! A deal for sure!!
I have a similar vac pump, useful for checking turbo actuators. I also have some of the caliper hooks, the multimeter and calipers. The money spent on the relay would be better spent on a power probe.
The sexual tension between you two is remarkable... From tape measures to odbII feeling good in ones hand. "feels so good, let me put it in your hand .." Cracking up...
You missed the best thing Temu offers! Get the drain plug remover tool, the magnet on a cable. For less than $6, no more burnt fingers or fishing the drain plug out of the bucket. My best tool purchase in the last 20 years!
I like these videos every now and then because they give me ideas for tools I want / may need. That being said, I would 100% never ever buy anything from Temu. Their ads alone ensured that.
While not a fan of giving my money to these companies, I've caved and bought a few fishing related items. Impressed so far. Would I spend my hard earned money on tools to fix things I depend on? The jury is still out.
I use that small syphon on my quads, small equipment, etc. Up north we have them at Canadian tire for $8.99 So far its held up, I wouldn't use it below freezing though.
Me, when my power outlets stopped working 2 weeks ago: "All these fuses look fine...could it be the relay? The relay is $30, I wish there was a way to test this relay to see if that is the problem."
Isn’t it basically the same stuff you would buy from Amazon anyway? It’s all from China regardless of the brand name or where you brought it from. It’s like buying something from Walmart instead of Target 😂
Brake caliper hangers are available at Dollar Tree in the fake plant section. Different sizes too!
My wife has a compulsion for Temu. The packaging has been a biggie. She has received items in questionable shipping materials. One item was replaced very quickly. The second try at a replacement seems to have vanished from the face of the planet. I've also heard refunds can be kinda sketchy.
At least it's not a box inside a box inside a box like Amazon does it, wasting tons of cardboard.
I've yet had any issues with Temu's packaging and returns. I've yet have to send anything back but have received refunds. Then again, what's like tree fitty? 😂
They will refund within a day, just take a picture in your request if it's broken and they will always refund

Temu are aggressive spammers, I have tried blocking them but they keep getting through, based on their scummy tactic I will never buy from them.
I’ve also read that they’re aggressive data harvesters too
Yes the app has way too much info from your phone that it sends to their servers. Not worth the couple dollars worth of savings. Looks like they are promoting heavy on TH-camrs 😢
@@justintime4466 Don't use the app. I use Brave to shop from.

Bought 200 Dollars on Temu. Spent the next 2 months dealing with Fraudulent Charges due to Temu ❤ and Hi Gabe. We've missed you.
My favorite duo, John and Gabe! My favorite episode with tools!
JR you should test everything and make a second video about it 😀🤘🏽

I have one of those relay testers. It works great.
Gabe being involved ia always a good day.
great episode

What a neat idea for a video guys 👍. Occasionally I get amazing durability from something cheap.
Nice to see Gabe hanging out with you.
Great to see Gabe again. He is really funny!
I found most of these items for similar prices on amazon FYI!
gotta include Gabe in more videos JR you guys play off each other well
I despise TEMU, but I love Gabe...

Klein Tools CL220 Digital Clamp is the meter to buy, retails for $70 and does AC/DC clamp. The auto ranging is a little slow but it works.
Temu prices seem high, especially considering they are going to sell you information before you can get your items.
I bought a caliper measurer from Amazon for $17 with two batteries.
on this episode of WatchJRGO, we totally rip off Jared at Questionable Garage and review the cheapest tools known to man, and TEMU paid us to do it!
I would like to see some of this stuff in action, similar to the OBD scanner.
No way , not that crap , you may as well give the $200 to Saint Vinnie's
The Lady and the Tramp scene with the tape measures was hilarious! Thanks for the run through, like others have written, looking forward to the testing. ~ Chuck
A vacuum pump and a tape measure !!! I'm not going there !!!😂
I have seen you never use mics...watching this reminded me of this... particularly couldn't hear Gabe very well. Just saying.
Nice to see Gabe back!
Thanks for this guide to direct to landfill tools!
I wish you had tried using the items to tell us how well it worked and if it was worth the price
I've yet any issues with the QC of the items in general. I mean, you do get what you pay for but it's all worked. That cheap hand pump is flimsiest feeling thing but it holds up.
I agree. I would like to see those flex wrenches being used on that Mustang.
Hopefully Gabe brings the Opel down to the new shop to get working on, would love to see that car again
Possibly…

Always the best video with GABE is around 🔥
Those brushes clean brake dust on wheels really well also. Ideal for wheels with a lot of nooks and crannies crannies.
When are you going to do a video update on your car collection??

Oh and so for most things you showed I have gotten off of Amazon for around the same price. I bought my basic launch obd2 scanner for $35.
Bezos is not sponsoring the video bro..
I would like to see the car projects that Gabe had parked in his driveway!!!!
Shoulda bought a jack and stands see if they can hold your f250
It feels like they’re being sponsored, to each his own but I’m not a fan of supporting sites like Temu
The tape measure bit just got this video demonitized. LOL This used to be a family show!!
I'm going to have to pick up the wrench roll! A deal for sure!!
Without a review I have no idea if I want to spend money on potential garbage on temu
The relay tester works great
But does any of it work and how long will it last?
Just like Harbor Freight stuff, as a rule it does. I have harbor freight tools that I’ve been using for over 15 years with no problems.
I bought a mini vacuum from temu…..it works great to clean the car when you’re waiting somewhere…$20
I have a similar vac pump, useful for checking turbo actuators. I also have some of the caliper hooks, the multimeter and calipers. The money spent on the relay would be better spent on a power probe.
If anyone buys me anything from Temu for Christmas I’ll need to have a serious discussion with them. 🤮
Ty for not lying about prices how so other vids do
The sexual tension between you two is remarkable... From tape measures to odbII feeling good in ones hand. "feels so good, let me put it in your hand .." Cracking up...
Great to see Gabe again.
Don't just believe what is written on the box, just because it claims to be of a certain standard doesn't mean it actually is,
Good video and if price goes down you can claim price adjustment within 30 days. Anything missing easy get your money back.
I think I’d rather just get the harbor freight version of most of these and get a warranty
Good video, but maybe put a Lav mic on Gabe next time? Just a thought...
Do they sell 10mm sockets? Asking for a friend
I'm always looking for someone to help me suck out the fluids. Gotten into some misunderstandings.
i got my flexible head wrench set on temu for 25 as it was one of the items i had in my cart and they offered me a deal on them.
Glad to see Gabe back on the channel. Where has he been hiding? Also where is your Air Force buddy with the trailblazer?
Hey!!!
Just been crazy busy with work and family stuff!
Cheers!!
🍺😉👍🏼
I don't know.... That table _almost_ would double as a workbench. That's all I want for Christmas.... JR to get a legit workbench and then use it....
Awe yeah, Gabe’s back!
The family that breaks together stays together!!! Lol lol lol lol
Gabe is back! How is the Routan?
Still making things happen! 🍺😉👍🏼
It's always good to see old man Sanchez on a vlog!

give Gabe a mic.
Instant watch. I get a big laugh out of the tools from these websites. Haha

I'm fine with AliExpress. What would be the difference of using temu?
Damn, even JR selling out to Temu now? Say no to this trash company and their trash.
Since I first started watching this channel years ago, I thought JR and Gabe were twins.
I use that small syphon on my quads, small equipment, etc. Up north we have them at Canadian tire for $8.99 So far its held up, I wouldn't use it below freezing though.

I feel like I'm watching home shopping network. 😂
The question is what the steel is like on those wrenches? Will they snap the first time you go to loosen a very tight bolt.
I like that relay tester
Will any of it last a year of steady use
so you did also fall for the temu scam
Me, when my power outlets stopped working 2 weeks ago: "All these fuses look fine...could it be the relay? The relay is $30, I wish there was a way to test this relay to see if that is the problem."
Epic content, I know what's wrong with it IT AIN'T GOT NO GAS INNIT!!! 😂😂😂
My eye was drawn to the SAE and Metric Bolt Gauges and Check a Thread Nut Fastener Size
its all junk just saying. Anyway great to see the shop finished. Big Up!

@@caddyguy5369 What doesn't these days? What are they really gonna do with that data anyway?
I have legit found the exact items on both and Amazon was much more expensive.
#1. Give your boy a lavalier
#B. Make a test and comparison video. Do the tapes measure actual inches? Do the items hold up after 10 actual uses?
Temu is the new version of wish.
1 John Ross 2 Cups 😂🤣😂
Looks like this was sponsored by temu
Thank you.
