+Mart In He's a really nice guy. I've met him before, I hate his music but even he'll be the first to admit he sold out ON PURPOSE. But beyond that he's a really nice guy.
Man I love these Coffee Runs. All these "big stars" are only "visible" on official places like interviews or radio, but DeadMau5 just puts a gopro on his Ferrari and takes us on a ride. Its almost like I am sitting with DeadMau5 in his Ferrari. Feels awesome.
This dude seems so cool. It's nice to see a celebrity of his fame, I mean he was HUGE in the late 80's-early 90's, being so down to earth and nice. Other celebrity's should take notes.
+jermaine gibbs ... he does have a TV show. He got in trouble recently for something he did in association with said show. And I am pretty sure he talks about that show in this video, now that I think about it. This is my second time watching it.
I like Deadmau5's take on genres. People spend too much time categorizing music, almost every artist has their own damn subgenre. I'm not saying that some of the genres don't deserve to be their own thing, but once the names of genres start getting to 3+ syllables, that's just ridiculous. EDM makes sense since it's an all encompassing term for the general electronic music trend, but something like darkelectrotriphop (I've actually seen this as a genre somewhere) is just too complicated. Just enjoy the music, and keep genre naming simple. Also, when describing a song, it's fine to name as many genres as you like, but stick to 1 or 2 for the main genre. Example, Deadmau5 makes EDM, and has influences from House, Electro, Dubstep, and many more. Notice I didn't mash that all up into one Frankenstein genre.
This is without a doubt the best coffee run so far, Engaging conversation, no where near boring at any moment, He'll have a hard time matching this one.
haha I mustve watched all these coffee run videos twice through now, for some reason I find it fascinating watching them just chill and talk about cool shit
I don't know what is is about these videos that i love so much - possibly the fact that it's a celebrity i know little about and i get to watch them hanging out with Joel and just being themselves. Vanilla Ice seems like a really down to earth guy, and that's nice to know.
Dude, we need more coffee runs with you and Rob, the banter between you two was fucking hilarious. And unlike some of the coffee runs that I've seen you do, you actually looked like you were enjoying yourself in the conversation. I was kinda sad when the video ended. I could have watched a days worth of banter between you two.
That was cool of Joel to hook up with Rob and go for a Coffee run. Rob was definitely showing his age with his brief history lesson and Ninja Turtle references. I was disappointed how the video just stopped mid sentence.
21:20, when they said smoke's poutinerie, I got such a giant grin on my face. Such a great restaurant! - always try to make an effort to eat there when I visit the city.
This one was hilarious too... deadmau5 getting really good at doing these coffee runs. Plus to be able to make a totally unedited conversation interesting to participants and to listeners cant be easy. Pretty cool.
This is the only one of these (so far) that I've watched from top to bottom. I had no idea Vanilla Ice was such a down-to-earth guy. Plus, they nerded out aboot TMNT for like 10 minutes. So....hell yes.
It's all about the struggle, according to Wikipedia. "Trap music is also defined by its bleak, gritty and belligerent lyrical content, which widely varies depending on the hip hop artist but typical lyrical themes include observations of street life and hardship in the "trap" and harsh experiences urban surroundings that the rapper is trying to lyrically portray to the listener."
"You made the wrong turn?" "yeah, we need to turn around?" "You guys look so familiar! Deadmau5? Ice?" "Can we turn around?" "Love your stuff, man!" "Thank you. You need to guide us back" "Make a peace sign" "we need to turn around"
Best thing I've heard you say....... "I'm just a producer and love making music". Superb :-) Make whatever comes natural, get it out there and let everyone else decide!
Ahaha talking about the abandoned marina place is great. It went from a boat race stadium to a world known graffiti spot. Now its being renovated but it has some of the most known artist from all over the world in there.
I was so into Vanilla Ice's history lessons. Now all he has to do is rap it.
***** Hue hue hue. I would pay so much to see that.
I swear we have the same subscriptions and that you always get highly liked comments on videos hahaha. Keep up the good work on your channel man!
Tyler Stierhoff well heres a like for you . you must be feeling rather sad :[
I keep seeing you comment on all the same videos that i'm watching. You get around youtube!
lol small world bro xD i just subbed you like a few days ago!
I never knew vanilla ice was so chill.
I see what you did there.
smart words...
hes just a cool dude
Yeah Ice is genuinely a great dude. You can tell he'd be an awesome and friendly person to hang out with.
vanilla ice seems like a pretty cool guy actually, thats pretty tight
"It literally changed overnight, within about a year."
Our universe is billions of years old, a year is more of a blink of an eye than an overnight deal :)
noticed that too lmfao im surprised dead didnt point it out
xKalamity prove to me its billions of years old? oh you cant? ok.
DpoGames7
take that atheist!
DpoGames7 prove to me you aren't an idiot.
I didn't realise how cool Vanilla Ice is. What a legend !
Well water becomes ice at 0 degrees so he's pretty cool :P
LUKAZ G HA HA ! Nicely done : )
+Mart In Totally man, this is easily the best run.
yeah it is a good one. I find that Joel looks a bit awkward in a lot of them but this one is very good.
+Mart In He's a really nice guy. I've met him before, I hate his music but even he'll be the first to admit he sold out ON PURPOSE. But beyond that he's a really nice guy.

Never thought I would say this but.. This was the best cofferun to date! Amazing what my feelings towards vanilla has changed from this video.
Joel's first time with a *real* adult, no doubt!
Vanilla Ice and Deadmau5 are the perfect combo.
This dude is 47 years old?
Looks 23.
Vanilla Ice needs a TV show, cool guy, always had a stereo typical view of him... He has Knowledge.
+jermaine gibbs ... he does have a TV show. He got in trouble recently for something he did in association with said show. And I am pretty sure he talks about that show in this video, now that I think about it. This is my second time watching it.
Best set from Ultra
My Opinion :)
1) Aly & Fila B2B JOC
2) The Mau5
3) Gaia
EIEIOOO, EIEIOOO.
Best way to learn stuff, if he was my history teacher I'd always be listening, my ADHD's got nothing on Vanilla Ice.
someone wants the D
Wow, Ice is such a cool guy.
This is my favorite Coffee Run. Ice seems like the nicest dude.
That was an awesome coffee run. Van ice is a cool guy
Ice: It fits better than OJ's Glove!
Joel: **literally nothing**
I'm only like 8mins in right now but I'm loving the Miami history lessons!
I like Deadmau5's take on genres. People spend too much time categorizing music, almost every artist has their own damn subgenre. WoW vanilla is very intelligent and down 2 earth rad dude
This is without a doubt the best coffee run so far, Engaging conversation, no where near boring at any moment,
He'll have a hard time matching this one.
Fuckin' Vanilla Ice is so chill. He seems like he'd be really fun to just hang with.
Poor ice just wanted to chill out and you wanted to hurry up and drop him off!
Exactly.. As if the guy has somewhere to go.. He never has to work a day in his life.
+Michael Taylor You srs?
Might be the best run yet. Some great convo in there lol. Ice seems like such a cool down to earth guy.
Deadmau5 2014- Its a Cardinal sin
Deadmau5 2017- This is a cardinal sin of EDM right here.
Alexander Punj lmao
He actually seems like a really cool guy. Props.
Wow there was sooooo many cops. Good episode! Love ice.
🤭
Best guest.
History lesson with Vanilla Ice! Didn't expect this today!
Seriously did anyone else notice Vanillas TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES TAT ON HIS LEG???? So cool!
38:57 "Look kids, Big Ben…Parliament." - Clark Griswold
haha I mustve watched all these coffee run videos twice through now, for some reason I find it fascinating watching them just chill and talk about cool shit
I feel like Ice had no idea where he's going :P
or just a friend to talk to.
I saw vanilla ice in concert way back in the late 80's or very early 90's . Such a awesome guy and I am glad he is still doing good .
I don't know what is is about these videos that i love so much - possibly the fact that it's a celebrity i know little about and i get to watch them hanging out with Joel and just being themselves. Vanilla Ice seems like a really down to earth guy, and that's nice to know.

I love how Ice is talking about the Ninja Turtles.
Wow this was actually very interesting, assuming ice wasn't lying that's crazy history.
A Floridian history lesson with Vanilla Ice in a Lambo driven by deadmau5.... Seems legit!
Sorry dudes. Ferrari*
I get the feeling if you did one of these with Skrillex you two would sit there in silence
Vanilla Ice forever cool.
This one was hilarious too... deadmau5 getting really good at doing these coffee runs. Plus to be able to make a totally unedited conversation interesting to participants and to listeners cant be easy. Pretty cool.
vanilla ice is pretty....chill..heh
EDM aka event driven marketing
Impressed by Ice knowing some history about Seminole Indians of Florida.
Ice is a walking history buff ! Best coffee run yet !
I never really thought Vanilla Ice was this cool, he's so chill.
These guys are so cool. They look like they are having so much fun.
Vanilla ice giving Joel that history lesson reminded me of that scene from Wayne’s world with Alice Cooper
when he talked about Milwaukee
This is the only one of these (so far) that I've watched from top to bottom. I had no idea Vanilla Ice was such a down-to-earth guy. Plus, they nerded out aboot TMNT for like 10 minutes. So....hell yes.
I love the power of cars. Doesn't matter who you are, when you hit the throttle, passengers are silent. Torque FTW
Thanks a lot for the set on UMF! Im on Brazil but you got some balls to play like that! EPIC!
"Yeah I just got my license last year and I'm driving this crazy fast supercar."
Maybe it's just me but I'd be nervous as hell after that haha
I can't believe that parking guy knew who both of them were within seconds.
Legend has it they are still out driving around Miami trying to find their way...
SyR Gaming They're still driving
Trap = techno rap?
Oh hey! =)
SuperSaltyFries ...lol.
Hey I know you
Modern trap is basically hip hop beats with a lot of bass, and some EDM influence. Original trap would be artists like T.I.
Vanilla Ice would be the most raw high school history teacher ever
Cawfee run becoming into lectures in history :D Love it!!!
I had no idea how interesting this would be. I'm so pleasantly surprised
Dude! Ice even has a turtles tattoo on his calf
Sweet what does mine say
I love these! They're always so I interesting in a weird way.
These are great! Love the series!
Worker: Peace sign
Deadmau5: *does british swear*
Rob is really entertaining. Thanks for this Joel. Should do a gumball with him with an Extra large double double.
27 people have no idea how much greatness is sitting in that car if they ever did something together it would break records in sales
I could of watch an hour more of this.
I was like where's the rest when the video ended.
Vanilla Ice is a chill as hell.
"You made the wrong turn?"
"yeah, we need to turn around?"
"You guys look so familiar! Deadmau5? Ice?"
"Can we turn around?"
"Love your stuff, man!"
"Thank you. You need to guide us back"
"Make a peace sign"
"we need to turn around"
I love the synchronized nose rubbing ^^
I was hoping Ice was gonna ask Joel who his favorite Ninja Turtle was.
I would have guessed Ice was a Leonardo fan.
And by the way, best coffee run ever by far. Ice seems like a *ahem*... "Chill" guy.
A coffee run with Mark Hoppus would be great man.
Thus is one of the best coffee runs. Can't wait to see you in the Purrari :)
Did they make it home? the world may never know
Do you think Vanilla likes Ninja Turtles?
he has a ninja turtles tattoo on his leg lol
I know aha lol
Rhetorical question ;)
I would say that it lies within the realm of possibility.
Canada has chips, cheese and gravy too? I thought that was only a british thing... so nice!
I like the history lesson, last thing expected from Vanilla Ice.
i love how vanilla ice wants to keep talking and talking and talking. hahahahahah
This is one of my favorite coffee run videos so far...
One of the Best Coffee Runs yet !
Best thing I've heard you say....... "I'm just a producer and love making music". Superb :-) Make whatever comes natural, get it out there and let everyone else decide!
They seem like they have known eachother forever.
I had to laugh so many times.
Getting recognized out in public, BOTH of you at the same time, it must be nice. Lol.
Its so strange seeing deadmau5 driving around in my hometown. Strange, but kinda awesome! I passed by that area not too long ago.
Ahaha talking about the abandoned marina place is great. It went from a boat race stadium to a world known graffiti spot. Now its being renovated but it has some of the most known artist from all over the world in there.
Best coffee run so far. Ice seems like a chill guy
I could tell right off Ice was messing with you making you run circles LOL funny.
almost didnt watch this because of vanilla ice, but this is my favourite coffee run so far.. good shit
The aggravated look on joel's face... lol.
After Deadmau5 pissed everyone in the industry off Vanilla Ice was the only person he could get
Leave martijn garrix, tiesto and the rest alone !! Martin , etc, are awesome ! Martins a talented dj n producer n so is tiesto
''Fits better than OJ's glove.'' Hahahaha!
SO MUCH HISTORY. I love this.

I really enjoyed this! Both cool dudes! :)
I bet that construction worker was like "wtf just happened?"
Cool as ice. Haven't watched in a year so I'm watching tonight because of this. Thanks for the flick idea mau5. Thanks for the movie vanilla.
"Mice, mice, baby"
