You are honestly so talented!! I used to watch your videos religiously while I was unemployed but then I got busier and missed out on a lot. Really wanna get back to watching all of em 😂 Keep up the good work!!
Hello! Honestly by following your videos and drawing techniques i became so much better at drawing especially in realism.Thankyou soo much i never thought youtube videos will ever benifit me as much as yours did!💕
This was EXTREMELY helpful. I had been stuck on mirroring curves, to the point that practice was more frustrating than helpful. I couldn’t understand how the Robertson book got from one example to the next. And since these concepts all build on each other, I couldn’t move forward without understanding this lesson. Your detailed narration combined with the use of rulers helped me fill in those blanks from the book. I get it now! Thank you so much! Side note: it may sound weird, but it seems like your background music “opens” the brain or something, and allows a lot of complex information to pass through. Much of the music in these videos is annoying/distracting, but I think yours actually helped absorb it. Thanks again!
This series has made us all Ruler Wizards, which is great for parties, in case anyone was looking for a good icebreaker for talking to that cute person on the dance floor. "Sure, they're an accountant, but check out these sick multiplied crosshatches! Satisfying, eh?"
As an old draughtsman who used an A0 board, computer software can hide and show layers, but you need to understand the basics of what you are trying to achieve. You explain this very well and thank you for sharing.
Very helpful, now I'm beginning to grasp the concepts a lot better, can you teach us some pespective shortcuts, for not so detailed but still accurate backgrounds, that would be nice
why does the second plane(the one closer in space if that makes sense) not converge toward the 2 right vanishing point in the rocket drawing? great vid btw
Hi Dan Thanks for your videos. I have been watching some of your older ones and finding them helpful. The best book on Perspective I've come across is ' How To Draw Manga, Sketching Manga-Style 4, All about Perspective ' I've looked at tons of books on the topic and the Manga one is the best. I have it in pdf format if you're interested. I took a photo of every page so I can view it on my iPad Pro. Having a hard-copy is recommended though. ^^

You need more views buddy, great teaching. It does seem very monotonous though.
