This was an excellent. Thank you for your fine explanations. I use my Samsung A545G smart phone to make Facebook reels. I shoot those live. However, once they are posted they will not fill out the entire screen. There are two black bars on each side of my video. So it is only the same width of my phone about, 3 inches. That leaves about 2 inches on both sides of the video for those black bars. Do you have any suggestions? For example do I need a better camera, a usb capture plug or HDMI cable. Thanks, Ted.
I think for reels you need to have your phone in vertical mode. You could use a separate camera or phone for horizontal content or same phone but pick one orientation at a time
Hi Sam. I am trying to use OBS project and using my z7ii camera I am using mini to hdmi for connecting. My camera isn’t showing on the video device. What am I doing wrong. Please suggest.
@zian3694 you can find a low budget pc that can handle streaming. Anything with an i7 / I5 processor and dedicated graphics card ( nvidia) and some SSD would help. Even if it’s $500
Any computer, the important thing is the computer has to be fast enough to run either OBS or any other software, however if you are streaming directly to Facebook as decent computer the runs windows 10 or 11 with a good internet connection should do
Does the Lumix camera connect to Streamyard alone? I am trying to use Streamyard but its not detecting my camera. I am using the USB camera my Lumix g9 came with.
It really depends on many factors. What camera system you are using, how many angles you need, the distance between the cameras placement and the stage etc.. feel free to reach out to me if you need a personal consultation
@@talklesslistenmore5578 ok for 5 cameras this should be a mix of various focal lengths to cover all angles . 24 mm, 35 mm , 50 mm, 24-70 mm zoom maybe some 70-200 mm f.2.8 etc… please let me know if you need assistance: liveproductiontips@gmail.com
If you don’t wanna use a capture card you need a camera that can support USB streaming something like the Sony ZV1 or ZV-e1 or Canon EOS Utility software that allows you to connect some canon cameras directly to the computer without a capture card

Has anyone been able to use an internal HDMI capture card such as the Blackmagic Design Intensity, or the Intensity Pro with their Canon M50 II using HDMI?
@@LiveProductionTips I have done everything that I can to make it work and spend hours searching the Internet for solutions. I find others saying they had the same issue, but I find no one saying they have a solution.
@@The_Trained_Observer One thing I know is some of those cards may get outdated (software) and start giving you issues ( I had one an external one back in the day), or it could be some FPS incompatibility etc… unfortunately I cannot help you since I don’t have one but you should try different frame rates within the software and see, also consider changing the HDMI cable to make sure it’s not a cable problem. Worse case scenario you get a cheap $20 capture card that will still work
I am not sure how old your MacBook is but if the browser is outdated you may have issues. Try to see if you can install the latest google chrome or safari
