This brings back amusing memories when I chose the wrong element on purpose as a child, but I did not expect the additional dialogue. I am grateful Square added detail like this in Final Fantasy X.
Man these trolling in game things are amazing. I mean the amount of dialogues that you miss are incredible. Even death. I didn’t even know there were unique death dialogues until 20 years later lmao
@@XemnasthewiseIf you're KO, you're just unconscious. Correct. Take a fighting game like Tekken! Even lorewise, you constantly KO your opponents when you win a round. Most of the time, they are still alive. However, getting crushed as a stone statue in FFX, it should realistically mean that character's death.
@@undyingsoul3949 Yep! Even if they are just unconscious, I don't think that the monsters would just walk away, right? They attacked them for a reason so they might also finish it
1:04 - Lulu: Uh, that was a bad example. That was kinda funny the way she said that. lol. Thanks for showing me this. I never seen this before and I've been playing this game for years. I've always ignore stuff like this and just take the enemy out.
@@huurra14 looks like I misunderstood the comment I was replying to there, I thought he meant running out of MP before the battle starts. I actually replayed this part recently, and it occurred to me that it would be possible in theory to get yourself stuck here since the Flan only continues to heal itself, and Wakka and Tidus can't outdamage the healing. Fortunately though, this is actually an optional encounter, and the "Escape" option is available. Looks like the devs thought of that....
@UzimakiRealm Ah okay cool. I'm from the 'States so I played the NTSC-U version, but when I saw the Sphere Grid on the PAL I was like "Whoooaaaaa!" lol
@UzimakiRealm Haha yeah I love this game. Spoony may hate it, but I love it, even though I enjoy his videos. Have you played the PAL version? I just started playing that version and the Sphere Grid is all weird! Haha
Hi there. She would have said the same thing she says when you would have chosen fire. I left that out since it would be the same dialogue. Thanks for watching!
Breaking FFs (and all JRPGs) battle mechanics. Lightning won't do a thing to water element, ice however will freeze it. So yeah, ice is more effective against water. Earth, on the other hand, is much more effective against fire. Fire beats blizzard. If you look realistically down to it. And yeah, I'm fun at parties btw. 😁😁
Lulu: "I'm teaching him the rights and wrongs of using magic. Don't interrupt, Wakka."
I love how she tries to cover her arse after she heals it with a Water spell...
"THIS is what happens when you pick the wrong element..."
*Lulu does a water spell again*
Wakka: We got it, move on!
Lulu:Errr... I clicked too fast...
Wakka: "Clicked"?!
@Cyberdemon Mike Now what would be the fun in that
Cyberdemon Mike there’s actually a mod for that

I thought that they would just die. Turns out that they are still talking when they're defeated. Probably because they're only unconscious?

What if you had her cast a spell on herself? 🤔 🤔 🤔
I just tried this, it won't let you select any target other than the flan.
I've never actually tried to cast the wrong spell.
i fucked up everyfucking time because...
who i am kidding, i don't have excuses here.
I'm curious as to what would happen if Tidus was strong enough to kill it
The same dialogue plays, but right after Lulu says "This one here is a water fiend, which means...", the battle ends immediately.
yeah theres a video on that now. getting over powered before even getting into spira
Man, the original FF10 has an aesthetic that just looks really nice in comparison to the remaster.
Lol even the Flan was like "U wanna run that back?"
so what happens if you cast a spell on wakka
"Magic? Element?" Uy
Anyone thirsty?
In2 thefantasy Best line when casting a water spell
Go home, Lulu. You are drunk!
"mAgIc? eLeMeNt?"
I actually got this on my first playthough, when I wasn't paying attention and thought using ice would somehow work XD
I wonder what happens if you make your mp run out before defeating that flan...
pretty sure this is the first battle you can get after Lulu joins your party, so it's not possible to run out of MP before then
@@Banshee523 We can cleary see MP getting lower.

Wakka probably give her an item to restore her MP
Ahahaha. I love Lulu. Never encountered this myself. Thanks for sharing. :P
this video gave me life
It never let me do that... HOLY CRAP! I love you....
Haha, I've actually never tried that! Will it even let you target your players like that, given that it is the "beginning" of the fighting system?
I had try the Water one for curiosity, never tried the fire and ice one tough.

Not really the black giant flan took considerable damage from physical attacks

Itu overdrive lulu harus pencet apa bang.. Di emulator
Why she never choose blizzard?

Ahah amazing, i love battle quotes
Anyone else intentionally try to get Lulu to finish the fight? Yeah, me too.
Great game
ive done it before because i was curious lol

This rock paper scissors battle system was trash
Mscape 7777 I liked it lol you can think all year about what move you want to do lol
Wrong video.
I liked it
its specifically not rock, paper scissors tho. unless you are playing rock paper scissors very wrong.
