This is one of the best explanations I’ve seen about nasal sprays a ive had seasonal allergies most of my life and the doctor always wants to give me a nasal spray and I’ve stayed away because they don’t seem to work. Bonus tip #2: for decongestant sprays, only use at night so you can breathe more easily while you sleep. Suffer through the day as best you can without using the spray. This reduces dependency and keeps effectiveness higher.

The most descriptive and helpful video on nasal sprays on TH-cam ever. I was able to understand what the turbinates were from your description after being confused by so many other animations and diagrams! However, I'm still confused about where nasal spray should be pointing. Doesn't pointing it towards the ear shoot it right at the bottom outer most part of the inner nose (the round part of a nostril flare)? I feel like when I point it this far to the side, the medicine just leaks right out of my nose. Some resources say to point it to the outer corner of your eye. I feel like when I point it at the inner corner of my eye, I get the most effect.

Very well explained. I have aggressive nasal polyps and a deviated septum. And I have found the side with the deviated septum gives me the most trouble. I feel it is because I am not getting the right angle on that side when I spray, therefore the medication is not going efficiently to where it needs to be. I think your tips will surely help.
