The "Where Do We Go From Here" video disappeared just as soon as it was aired. The entire music industry took a turn in 2003/2004...and not for the better. After Jet, Elefant, Kasabian and Kings of Leon, etc..., it felt like every rock or guitar driven song or video was banned from pop radio and T.V. or was sent packing to the basement. One of my few "rays of hope" were Band Of Horses and Mastodon. Shame because I remember always hearing something alt- pop or rock from the radio back in the 90's. Be it Oasis, Foo fighters, Shawn Colvin, Vertical Horizon, Toad the wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, etc.. Everything became Beyonce, Kanye, Taylor Swift, Pink, Katy Perry, etc... The greatest thing about Fillter and it's drummer/drumming is all the small somewhat hidden groves buried deep in the drumming. An example is the use of the bell on the ride accent which you do pretty fucking good. Pretty straightforward shit, but not really if you listen closely and of course you happen to be a drummer. Nice work dude.

2B sticks? I remember using 3S clubs in marching band, then switched to 5B for drumset/gigs - but would break a lot. Don't know if it was technique or the Promark sticks...
I think you’re right on the 2B thing! I have jumped all over the place with sizes and brands searching for the right balance of everything. I landed with Vic Firth x55A. As far as breakage goes the biggest difference I’ve noticed is hoop type on drums. I used die cast hoops on my snare last night at a show and broke 6 sticks in 90 minutes. Swapped die cast out for triple flanged hoop (and used a set of regular 5A!) and barely got a splinter out of one set. It’s a slight reduction in sound awesomeness, but once the band is in its all good. And your sticks (and wrists) last way longer 🤣
